“super cool shop , friendly staff and unique pieces! I’ve work up the street and have been inside a handful of times, but each time I find a treasure! Love the cooors & the vibes.. definitely worth a trip!”
“This place was a magical find. 3 stories of a variety of different antiques. A last chance 1/2 off section, and the folks who run the place are so sweet.
Found incredible clothes, and an antique marble kaleidoscope(?!!)”
“Well run store, now in a new location. They have very cool vintage pieces, albeit a little bit pricey (but hey, it's vintage!) and they keep a vast selection of books & media. They buy gently used items at fair prices and sell their media at very fair prices too. Friendly staff, and Alameda is glad to see them expand into their newer, shinier location on Park.”
“Such a quality curation of vintage and modern. The owner Sarah is one of the sweetest people! If you can’t make it in to shop, their online store and Instagram has everything available for purchase which is super convenient. Highly recommend!”
“A diamond in the rough. Poor Honey’s furniture is a great place to look for a vintage, mid-century, postmodern, contemporary furniture for any space or home. I’ve been eyeing on a few pieces, waited it out and was able to negotiate with Ryan and Adam a deal. They’re busy people but, helped me load the furniture into my car. I highly recommend checking them out!”
“This is my go to spot for selling and buying used kids clothes. They also have women's clothes and I always find gems here. Great selection of kids toys and very sensibly priced. I use my store credit to buy all of the gifts for kid birthday parties throughout the year.”
“I stopped into Labels for the first time today and I can’t believe I’ve lived here for four years and haven’t been there until now. I found the most beautiful boots and stunning Max Mara pants for a very fair price. Will definitely be back!”
“Fun antique vintage store. We got some playing cards, a fun and unique salt and pepper shaker of 2 squirrels, and a paperweight in the shape of a fat bird. Just to give you a taste”
“Lovely little shop that’s crammed full of wonderful old (mostly) things! They were very friendly and helpful, when asked; otherwise, I was left to browse peacefully…which I did for a very long time. There’s a lot to see!
I felt that some prices were a bit high, but overall reasonable and fair for the market. And I did buy lots of things: jewelry, beaded necklaces, and some antique sterling silver.
I will definitely be returning!”
“Best vintage clothing collection in the bay!!! The owner is really nice, cool, knowledgeable, and constantly rotates new clothing in, which is all highly curated.
Best place around for cool jackets , jeans, bags, shirts, records, hand made rugs, and more!”
“Great second hand woman's clothing store! We went with the whole family and found so many great things for my wife. The kids were cheering on mom as she found so many great items. But in all seriousness, there were lots of really nice designer clothing and accessories for women. Great shop!”
“When I came across this store it was as if the clouds had parted to let the sun shine down on me. Yeah I’m exaggerating but it’s a cool store and the dude who runs it seems laxed. But when he asks you “how much do you think it’s worth?” I recommend quoting some outrageous price and wait for his counter offer. I mean it’s negotiating 101. But when you’re desperate for money, you’ll just be happy if somebody is willing to pay you anything. A mistake I shan’t make again. Yes I do recommend this spot for every hipster rocking a man purse and a cardigan and a SnapBack. Oh my god I just described myself. Bummer?”
“NORA'S WORK IS AMAZING. Beautifully done haircuts and dye jobs, has been my standby for getting either done by a pro since moving to the bay in 2022. Absolute pleasure to work with too, wonderfully laid back vibes and delightful conversation with seriously quality results. Will definitely be returning again!”
“I’m so grateful to have discovered this little gem of a kids’ consignment shop. I’ve shopped here several times now, and I recently tried consigning too. Of course you’re not going to get top dollar with any consignment, but I really appreciate how carefully they go through everything, and how fair their pricing feels. For maternity and higher-end items they’ll consign, but for most pieces they offer cash or store credit on the spot, which is super convenient.
The prices are fantastic, with shirts and pants often starting around three or four dollars. Most of the brands are solid mid-range like H&M, Cat & Jack, Gap, and Old Navy, but I’ve also scored some great higher-end finds like Hanna Andersson and Little Sleepies. It has honestly become my number one place to pick up kids’ gifts, and I’ve recommended it to all my mom friends.
Unlike other consignment stores, especially the one on the same block, this place is truly wonderful and an absolute pleasure to shop at. Such a great resource, and the two ladies who run the shop couldn’t be lovelier. Exactly the kind of small business I’m thrilled to support.”
“What a wonderful store with a powerful mission! They’ve got a $5 rack of clothing outside and all sorts of lovely things inside like furniture, clothes, jewelry, etc… they’re donation based so your purchase is for a very good cause. And the workers in there are great!”
“Today I bought a ring here. Luis was so helpful. He is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. He explained everything, gave me advice, and showed me different options. Such a valuable employee, thank you so much. I am happy to come back again for more. Thanks Luis.
As well good price!”
“I have been coming to Radbird for several years. I can always find stylish designer pieces although they tend to be on the pricier side of preowned clothing. Their prices seem to always land somewhere between $200-$400. The fine jewelry collection is gorgeous. The ladies who work there are always kind but the fitting rooms could use some full length mirrors.”
“I encourage you to go out of your way to visit Mixed Pickles. Owner is super friendly, allows you to pick up their ‘booby trapped’ stock ?. A wonderful gem of curated items, paraphernalia, curiosities, clothing, and some pickle related items of course. The owner screen prints their own flyers, that change regularly. GO VISIT!!!!”
“I’ve been shopping at Silver Moon Kids for 13 years now and all of them have been lucky! Dima and her staff run an amazing store stocked with new and gently used clothing, books, and toys. It’s the perfect place to buy for all things children.”
“I bought a beautiful Jeanette depression glass compote bowl that I'm displaying as a fruit bowl. The store is small, but well organized, beautiful description on price tags, and friendly staff.”
“An amazing collection of period and unusual lamps, shades and accessories. Vintage items are delightful to see. Special lighting orders available via many vendors. Fabric samples available too Repairs done expertly by Debbie.”
“Everyone here is very nice and the store was well staffed and clean. Kyle was especially friendly. The selection at the store seems very good if your looking for size Large. I found a Ted Baker dress shirt that retails for over $50 at Macys for $18. Unfortunately I found the mens selection of medium/small shirts or 30x32 pants very limited and some of the clothes didn’t seem to be organized with the correct size.
I also wish there had been a dressing room because I ended up buying a couple shirts that are likely to be too small but I bought them any way since they were so cheap. Kyle told me i could change in the book section but I felt a bit awkward about doing that because the store was rather busy. And a couple of girls were shopping in the same section as me and were being rude.
Overall, my complaints, or outside the scope of what I could expect. Everything reasonable was exceptional.”
“Since living around this area, I love going in there to take a look around their nice selection of vintage clothing and accessories. The downside is, I don't think they have updated their open hours.Went in there around 11 and they were still closed. I hope they update their business hours if they have changed! Would love be able to go when I know they will for sure be open”
“Highly recommend. I discovered some old silverware sets in a storage garage owned by my ailing parents and needed to appraise them for their trust. I found the owner Niels of Montclair estates on the internet and he was great. Very professional, personable, experienced and knowledgeable. He is accredited by the International Society of Appraisers which is helpful if you need a legal appraisal document for insurance or other legal purposes.
His brick-and-mortar storefront is temporarily modest for reasons you can read about on his website but more than adequate to meet with him so he can begin to evaluate and understand your appraisal needs. Thank-you Niels for the well documented 12-page appraisal I needed for the silverware for my parents Trust.”

“Went today, found some really nice clothing items that were reasonable. (There were some overpriced or expensive items in some booths). Really happy with a brooch I found! Also my husband found some cool tops that are good quality. There were many vendors, but kind of crowded. The patio area with the music and food vendors was nice and we had the wood fire pizza - prosciutto, pear and arugula which was great. I want to say thank you to the gentleman who turned in my lost item and the 2 kind vendors who found me and returned it to me! Thank you so much! In general we had a good time:)”

“They’re back!! After 9 months without this spot I was so happy to see they were able to reopen. The clothes are so well curated, the owner has excellent taste. I went in to grab a pair of jeans, knowing they always have a great selection of larger size, high end brands. I was able to try on 5 different pairs, all in great condition and very well priced. Walked out with exactly what I wanted, a comfy pair of Mother jeans and a super cute pair of platform vans too! This is such a hidden gem in Lamorinda and I’m so grateful it’s back. Shopping sustainably made easy!”
“My heart dropped when I showed up at their old Piedmont Ave location and saw they were no longer there. Months later, I heard that they had relocated to 5505 College Ave in Oakland. WHEW!!! I now go there. I love this place, both their vintage items and their customer service! ❤️, Dominic Hicks”
“I have been going here for years as a buyer and a seller. The women who run this shop are amazing women. They are very knowledgeable and very professional and very nice. And they have the classiest stuff. Great taste. Love this place.”
