“Overall a good experience. We were given a Handicapped accessible room without being told. Would have been nice to have the option. The bathroom was not working for our needs because of the accommodations made. The room was clean the thermostat would not allow us to lower the temperature. We reported the concern. Was not able to be fixed during our stay.”
“Nice place right by the beach. The condo was clean. The unit had its own hot tub on a private deck. Nice kitchen with all the expected utensils, pots and pans. The staff was professional and friendly. I would stay here again.”
“Very beautiful landscape, Great breakfast available. Wonderful atmosphere, amenities such as bbq area, basketball, gym, pool and even a pet area. Easy freeway access. My only gripe would be we had to walk so far for our room. All in all a pleasant experience.
Noteworthy details: There is a little bench area for those who smoke.”
“Really friendly staff they have a good breakfast. And it’s a nice place to stay a little bit out of town center, but not too bad. One thing is though is that they didn’t clean the room between days stayed there for two days they didn’t come in to clean the room on the intermediate day.”
“The exterior of this entire establishment does not look very impressive at first. There was lots of yard work going on and they could use a new paint to polish a bit.
But at least our room is like completely brand new. All the furnitures, the cooking wears are shining. The layout of the room is also very efficient. The square footage is not on the large side but good enough.
The checking in process was smooth and is easy to locate our room. The morning breakfast is standard and nothing to complain about.
Overall, we had good time here.”

“A gorgeous ocean front and peaceful experience. Clean, fresh, fun! Right on a gorgeous beach! Room was great. Comfy, clean, spacious for family. Service was excellent across the board. The bike rental and extra large hot tub were huge pluses. The cocktails were expensive but delicious. Spa service (massage) was fantastic. Couple suggestions: The food was hit or miss. Given the family friendly nature of the hotel, the main restaurant should offer Mac n Cheese and kid pizza. An outside pizza oven would be a great add. The dinner menu was limited. Also 80$ for a New York is over the top. Need more options on menu like a tuna tartare, filet bites, more variety. A kids meal menu would be very welcomed. The hotel security needs to be stepped up. Easy to get onto this property and there were a few shady dudes. The pool was cold which was a bummer. Could have used pool movie night or some additional entertainment. Overall great experience! Will be back!”

“Right in downtown Oxnard. I wasn't expecting much just due to outward appearance, but I must say, the woman who runs the place is fantastic. Very accommodating and works hard to keep the place screened for trouble.makers and takes care of things ASAP. Love the security of the cameras all over the exterior. The rooms are old and could use updating but having her there made our stay feel safe and secured. Grateful for the time we spent and for Sharon working as hard as she does.
Rooms: Older rooms, need updating.
Safety: Fully covered exterior with security cameras
Walkability: Right in the heart of downtown, close to everything”

“I never blame motel management about broken things in the room , shabby furniture , damage , graffiti etc. ITS THE PEOPLE , THE GUESTS who damage things and don't respect other peoples property are the root problem . Folk making a mess or tearing up something nice and then sitting on their rumps waiting for somebody else to fix and clean up after them while expecting the highest of quality and top notch service at minimal cost. WELL , YOU CANT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS !”
“My family recently experienced a family emergency and needed to fly to Oxnard. We stayed here for about 8 days and I was impressed everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. Every day when we would return after long hours in the hospital we were greates with clean rooms, and a smile. I absolutely recommend this place! Thank you for giving our family peace in the midst of a storm!”
“Seriously it's such an underrated motel however don't anybody even think for a minute that all these other 5 star motel/hotel ($) Holiday Inn places are going to remain by themselves cause you all need to move on over a little cause here comes the City Center”
“They do all the cleaning themselves for the entire motel that's alot of work. They offered extra supplies as needed. The inside could use updating the bathroom is unique style. They do there best to keep up with needs being they are the only ones operating everything.”

“This was a fun place to stay, we stayed on the water side. They serve a great free breakfast. Oxnard is a lovely place to stay. It is so easy to drop your luggage there and cruise down to Santa Barbara for dinner and shopping.
You won't regret it.
Food and drinks: Great breakfast you can cook yourself or just grab what you like and eat there or go back to your room and it on the balcony while enjoying the view.”
