“I had a very pleasant experience bringing my 2015 BMW here for service. I recently moved to the area and came across Matteson's online and appreciated all the positive reviews. It is safe to say that they are true - I received superior service. I talked to Connor to coordinate my appointment time, car drop-off, and parts ordering. It was important to me to have Genuine parts installed and he guaranteed this would be the case. I have taken my car in twice now in the last few weeks for various repairs and all went smoothly and my car came back in great condition each time. I found the pricing fair and reasonable for the parts and services offered. They were transparent about the pricing up front as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking for a reliable mechanic.”
“Thank you to Greg and Manny for providing a great experience. I was visiting Monterey from SF for a short 3-day conference and got a “check charge system” light on day 2. I brought my car in (Acura RDX) when the shop opened and they were able to get the battery, belt, and alternator replaced by the afternoon. Happy that I can drive home safely!
As a woman who doesn’t know much about cars, I am always slightly anxious about being taken advantage of. I’m so glad I found this shop on Google. Greg was so knowledgeable and explained each issue and component to me. Great work and honest pricing- I’m only sad that I live far and can’t come here for regular maintenance work.”
“Extremely kind, knowledgeable, and fair. Had a bad breakdown while on a road trip and Jim bent over backwards to get me on the road again. I’d recommend this place to anyone who cares about their VW.”

“John and his team have been taking care of my 2007 Mini Cooper for years. They do great work at a reasonable price. Recently had the whole clutch replaced with no issues. They're always honest about what needs to actually be done vs what can wait until later.”
“I bring my car here for almost anything they have the capabilities to do, oil change, brakes, general tests, I recommended my wife get her tires here and she got a great price that was very competitive especially with the time saved by not having to leave PG.”
