“Hello, everyone; not all branch managers are created equal. I recently sold my car and was paid with a cashier's check. Because of the weekend, my branch manager said because of the weekend there would be an 8-day hold. I have been a customer for over 5 years, and my combined account balance exceeded the check amount. I made a scene expressing my displeasure. The branch manager stepped in and explained that the first $5k would be available immediately but offered to do nothing to help make my funds available early. John Paul, the branch manager at the Pacific Palisades location, heard about my frustration and reached out by phone and offered to contact the bank that the cashier's check was issued from to help me get my funds sooner than the 8-day hold time. This was an exceptional act of kindness and customer service that is seldomly experienced in the hustle and bustle world that we live in today. Thank you John. ??????”
“I cannot say enough good things about the Citibank in the Palisades. David who is a personal banker there helped me open up an account and also advised me on which accounts would yield the most benefits. He is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with! The entire staff at this branch is also super nice. I always know that when I walk in, I will be taken care of. Thank you, David and company.”
“Warm, friendly and good bank. I've been banking here for close to 20 years. The tellers know the customer names. Gary, Roshi, Tevek and Antonio are all very professional. If I have questions or a problem, they get it solved. There are often multiple tellers working yet if you go in on a Friday or at some other times you might have to wait 15-20 minutes. The tellers want to make sure that each person is taken care of. Like most banks, they are almost impossible to reach from the website info. Best path is to go in person middle of the day. And get a business card and email of the person who helped you to follow up with any questions. Most banks are just much better in person. Which is good because it prevents problems with people perhaps pretending to be someone else over the phone. They have been closed for the fire but will hopefully reopen in July.”
“I stopped by the branch a month ago. Thank you to BofA for quickly reopening a branch to assist those in need. The community will rebuild with the help of BofA Palisades.”
