Tanu was gentle, comforting, and very understanding, which helped my kid feel safe and less nervous during the visit. Seeing someone treat children with so much patience and compassion truly made a huge difference for our family. From checking vitals to answering questions and making sure we were comfortable, everything was done with genuine care and kindness.

One thing that really stood out was that Tanu even called back afterward for follow-up, which showed a level of care that is very rare to find nowadays. That follow-up call made me feel that we were not just another patient, but that the staff truly cared about our health and recovery. Taking the time to check on us after the visit showed professionalism, dedication, and genuine compassion for patients.

The doctor was also excellent and took the time to carefully listen to all of our concerns without rushing through the appointment. I appreciated how clearly everything was explained, including the treatment plan and follow-up instructions. The doctor was knowledgeable, understanding, and very thorough, which gave me confidence and peace of mind. You can tell that the staff here genuinely care about their patients and work together as a team to provide the best possible care.

Overall, this urgent care clinic exceeded my expectations in every way. The level of professionalism, cleanliness, efficiency, and compassion shown by the entire team was truly impressive. “I signed up with this medical service offered by Amazon, and I love it. Everything was done from my desk with a zoom call, the communications were excellent, the doctor (you get to pick your own doctor) was the best ever, the follow-up was the best I ever received. I did get a prescription which they called into the pharmacy of my choice, although Amazon could have also had mailed it to me. I love that Amazon One Medical has a phone app which is fantastic to use. This entire experience is a great example on how the medical profession should be. I love it.”

“With several decades of experience, as an impatient patient, I feel qualified to judge the quality of my health care providers. I've also learned that in life one almost always needs to qualify their judgments and opinions, with the phrase, "so far". In my 16 years living in L.A., I had not found a primary care doc who I felt was a keeper. A few months ago I asked a neighbor if he knew of someone and he recommended Dr. Patricia Y. Chang, who practices family medicine at UCLA. Dr. Chang has been at UCLA for around 5 years and practiced in Canada for around 20 years prior. I believe her Canadian training is beneficial to her patients, as Canada seems to be superior, in training physicians to understand and treat the whole person. In the roughly 3 months and 3 visits I've had with Dr. Chang, I am convinced that she is top notch, as a physician, and, no less importantly, as a person. Dr. Chang is extremely knowledgeable, a great listener, responsive (i.e., between visits) and caring. She also understands how all our systems (body and mind) are connected. In listening to my medical history, Dr. Chang identified a relatively rare issue, which no one has ever thought of or explored and very few would. "So far", I expect that Dr. Patricia Y. Chang will be one of the best physicians I have ever consulted.”

“I really hated to go to labs for blood tests. My veins are not visible and not easy to find. Even in the hospital I was poked several times because they couldn't find my veins. My arms were in yellow/green/purple colors in elbow area or on top of my palm. Just horrible. BUT! I have never had any problems in UCLA Encino labs. How they do this I don't know but you can not see any signs on my arms that I was in labs for blood draw. No more poking million times. They have it on the first try. Unfortunately I have to do the tests very often but I know I am going to Encino labs so all will be OK there during my blood draw. I can go there any time..”
