“I spent months researching sofa beds trying to find a comfortable one and realized that for the price of a high end sofa bed (West Elm, etc), you can get a customized Murphy bed that will give your guests (or yourself) a way better sleep experience. It folds easily up for this short, petite customer, and I can keep the sheets and even duvet on. Very well built. Attention to detail (came back when it looked a missing piece's paint wasn't perfectly matched). Give them time, they are building them! Highly recommended.”

“We have used this company twice in the last 10 years. We were so happy with the design help and outcome, we went back a second time in 2022. Fernando took our "L" shaped couch and turned it into 2 separate couches. He helped pick out all the material to coordinate the entire living room. He also made 3 additional tables to match the coffee table he made originally 10 years ago. He also took on a request to design/build/install a wood wall mount to hang a floating picture . Fernando has always gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy with the end results of our requests. I can't recommend him enough. He also has done some furniture repair for another family member, who has also been very happy with his work.”

“I recently moved to the Palm Desert area with 2 small dogs. Because I had no idea what the heat index was/is, I had to quickly think about umbrellas to occlude the heat intensity. I went on the World Wide Web to do some investigating. And, I had a great deal of difficulty getting specific answers to questions, e.g., How much of the sun's rays is/are blocked by the respective umbrella?
I did some questing, and I stumbled upon The Patio Place. If you are looking for knowledgeable professionals to work with you on selecting the "right" umbrella for the summer sun (and the Coachella Valley is no joke), then I would strongly encourage you to visit The Patio Place.
The staff are patient and take the time to explain what it is you are purchasing. They relate to you in a personable manner.
Being new to the area, I really appreciated being educated on the quality of the umbrella (for example which type of umbrella weathers the elements better than the others). In addition, sells professionals gave me wise advice on what to do should wind gusts pick up to maintain the integrity of the umbrella.
Prices? The prices are totally reasonable. I have a small vehicle, so I was elated to learn that they have a crew who would deliver and set up the umbrella. Eli and David--thank you! In addition, the young lady at the front desk--thank you. Items were delivered expeditiously. And, my terrace is a safer place for me and my pets! Don't waste time on the WWW if you are in the Coachella Valley--get in your vehicle and drive to The Patio Place. You will be glad that you did this.”
“This is literally the best place in the desert for modern furniture. Trust me, I went to every shop on El Paseo, and even drove all the way out to Mathis Wharehouse. The furniture here is timeless, modern, and so well done. I love all the customization features. We started out coming in just for a couch and now have furnished our entire home with bo concept. Randy is an absolute amazing designer! He came by our house and helped us figure out which piece would fit well and how to coordinate the other pieces around it. The manager Eric is beyond professional and friendly! I come by the store just periodically to catch up with them, thats the kind of impression this store made. Thanks PD team!”
“Gerardo was absolutely the best. He repaired a floor mat that BMW doesn’t make anymore for my model/year. It was a quick fix that he did and it really helped me out because I was concerned about getting my foot caught in the tear while driving. “I was ready to upgrade to a professional grill after years of low cost grills from Home Depot. I did lots of research online and found it to be very confusing. I worked with Chris and he was very helpful. He showed me some great grills and explained the differences. On Chris's recommendation I went for a Blaze grill. Chris provided the delivery, installation and hauled away my old grill, for a small charge. I recommend Chris and his store when you are in the market for a professional gas grill.”
