“Mid-way through a family road trip from Canada, our Ford Escape lost power twice while driving through the desert all day from Zion National Park to Palm Springs. We were only booked to stay two nights in Palm Springs. On the first morning, after first phoning three Ford Dealerships in the area (who responded through their online chat system and promised a call-back--but none of them ever did), I phoned Darren who answered my call and immediately engaged me in conversation to try to diagnose the problem. Despite being fully scheduled with work, understanding our predicament, he fit us in the next morning so that we could continue with our road trip itinerary. Ran multiple diagnostics and did not suggest parts replacement just for $$ but was honest about the best hypothesis they could come up with. Great responsive communication via text. At my request, out of precaution, installed a new high quality battery as ours was 4.5 years old.Long story short, the responsive customer service made all the difference for us at this stressful time.
