Verizon is a telecommunications business offering mobile, 5G home internet, and other services. Customers can visit stores, like the one in Panorama City, for their needs or go online to schedule appointments and place orders. Options include in-store pickup, free 2-day shipping, express lockers, and same-day delivery where available. There are corporate Verizon stores and other authorized locations. Corporate stores display products from several phone manufacturers for customers to see, touch, and compare. They offer free phone repairs, unlike some independent stores. However, corporate stores can be few and far between, sometimes requiring a 30-minute drive. Store features can include free ADA-compatible parking and a rear entrance, but no public restrooms. Experiences with service vary. Some report very good service from employees and technicians, who assist with repairs, data transfers, and insurance claims for replacement phones that arrive quickly. The wireless network is described by long-term customers as reliable and expansive, with dependable internet and helpful customer support. However, other experiences include difficulties reaching a store for help, charges for unreturned items, and stores unable to provide immediate assistance for online purchases. Some feel general service is not as good as it used to be.
Went to get my phone activated, the first guy didn't do anything to help, he was worthless, then I went back a couple of days later agitated and a young man by the name of Marvin kindly helped me and took care of everything. Marvin is very professional and very knowledgeable, and he was kind enough to listen to my concerns.
