“Stopped by and this place is great! Got 2 prime dry aged ribeyes, escargot and a nice bottle of whiskey. Customer service was phenomenal. Highly highly recommended!!”
“A fantastic experience all around. Nice selection of curated food items. I was most impressed by their consciously sourced beef, poultry and pork. And…they make their own sausage!”
“Great tasting carñitas and chicharon. They also give you some chile salsa. Friendly and helpful service. I bought "ensalada de noplales" nopal salad.”
“A nice place, it looks like a family place and it has everything you are looking for. I love the wines, the pastries, the meats and the good cabinet and very clean. Recommended.”
“Fresh, delicious and great service. We ordered raw and cooked bbq and have been impressed each time. Phone ordering is easy, it's ready in time and location is beautiful.”
“We were greeted with kindness as soon as we walk through the doors. As first timers, they were happy to answer any questions we had!
This place the quality of their meats is top tier! They gave us extra sauce and meat.
This location the staff is kind and the meat quality is highly recommend.
GO HERE & NO PLACE ELSE!!!!”
“The best quality meat I've ever had, whether it's beef, chicken, or shrimp. The flavors are exceptional, and the service from the staff is truly top-notch!”
“Wonderful meat market !! ?
We've been going there since a little after they first opened, quality has not changed. Good prices for EXCELLENT quality meat, very well worth it. The people are friendly, and attentive.
It reminds me of an old school neighborhood butcher shop from when I was a kid ???”
“I have to be honest I’m not sure where these reviews came from. The food is excellent, but the service especially from that lady was very subpar. She seemed very irritated with every moment of any kind of interaction this is my fifth time here with the same experience every time. I felt like I had to apologize to ask for anything. Great steaks though.”
“I grew up in Germany and this place has many of the things I learned to live without over the years. They have a great little deli section with all the basics, not comparable with the spread of products you’d find at a contemporary deli (Metzgerei) in Germany but definitely enough to get you Wurst-fix.
Their Fleischkäse is really good and the sandwiches are only $7 at the time of writing. Not only are they huge but they also come with a side of salad (potato salad, Fleischsalat, etc.) Of course you’ll also find all sorts of candies and other comestibles there. I really like the place!”

“Let's make our local economy stronger by buying at our local markets, stores, and outlets. At Meatland Market, you will find an extensive selection of Latino ingredients to make delicious recipes/ dishes. La carniceria offers a wide selection of different meat, poultry, and fish. Here, you will find the best CECINA,fresh fruits, and vegetables....and the list goes on....”
“This review is long overdue. Always quality meat here, really good seasonings. All the men here are very respectful and provide great customer service. They’re very patient and kind. Would highly recommend buying from here.”
“I grew up eating Carne from this place. All I got to say is absolutely good quality meat at a good price. No fat like other meat just straight meat. Bomb always fresh. Gracias Don Chuy I know this man since I was 15 yrs old”
“There warm food options are delicious. My personal favorite is la torta de milanesa :) For every weekend BBQ this is my favorite place to get chicken and meat, it is well marinated! Buenisimo y me senti bienvenido!”
“What a special and wonderful place. They are so helpful and kind! We are so delighted to discover this jewel and support them. They have Basturma!! HOORAY Los Angeles shines brightest when one remembers how lucky we all are to live here and have access to the most delicious cultures on the planet. AND with such lovely human beings that make it all happen.”
“I loved the meat. Fresh and deliciously marinated. I personally love the authentic local experience of having meat grilled in the backyard of the market. Customers are all local families who came and picked up food continuously. Reasonable priced and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Review 2: ok Im obsessed w this place so I came back. Got quite a lot this time to try out. I love my chicken, beef, fish ceviche, and spicy shrimp cucumber salad, and hot links (pork blood sausage). I asked the chef to grill the beef medium rare and it was perfecto! The chicken was the star. OMG! It was juicy, soft and chewy, and delicious! The hot links was interesting as it tastes similar to blood sausage in Vietnam (my country). The staff was afraid that I didnt know it was blood so he made sure I understood it and went out to ask the chef to grill it well for me. 12/10 for the food and friendliness!”
“I been in this market a few times, and it never disappoints me, great meat selection (I ordered marinated chicken it was supper delicious not salty but perfect with flavor) but everything time I purchase meat the butcher send it to the front, but I always forget. They also have a big selection of healthy and unhealthy drinks, and a decent selection of vegetables, fruits, and other good quality Mexican ingredients. My favorite part they are open Sundays!”
“Good tamales. Friendly service. If you don't speak Spanish, you might have a difficult time ordering (just a heads up). As a bonus, there's an extremely charming cat you might cross paths with if you park on the street.”

“La Princesita is my favorite spot for chips, tortillas and salsa. It is a family owned business and they take a lot of pride making sure the products they sell are high quality. They also offer catering services!”
“So friendly and helpful, good variety of meat, good price. Bit atypical- discovered this meat market in my search for beef liver. My 12yr old boxer was diagnosed with cancer and getting him to eat became an issue.Quite a few times I rushed in at closing time, and was always greeted with a smile,Although I won't be buying quite as much liver, I will continue to shop here for good quality products”
“Recommended!! There is everything you need quickly, the meats are very fresh and the service is good. I like the sweet bread that is Salvadoran, there is a variety of bread and drinks, a small market but you can find everything.”
“Great quality meat. Prices are better than what I’ve seen at the meat counters of the nearby Korean markets. The service was exceptional and the ahjussi owner was so kind. I felt like he went above and beyond in helping me. They even have brisket sauce that tastes like the sauces at Korean BBQ restaurants. If you are local and want to buy meat for homemade hot pot or Korean BBQ, I recommend shopping for your meat here.”
“One of the greatest corner markets in Glendale. They have plenty of products to choose from, including Cigarettes & fresh fruit, they also have a vast selection of breads & dairy. The lines move fairly fast & the cashiers are realy genuine and honest.”
“Guerrero Market has terrific food! Tacos and tamales are $2.50 each, and the tacos are loaded with meat. Tamales were delicious as well - would definitely come back and order en masse for Christmas. Everything comes with green salsa, which was good enough that I'd drink it straight. Also ordered a cup of champurrado ($2.50 as well), which was yummy -- though too sweet for me to order again. Definitely a great hole-in-the-wall. There's three small tables in store if you want to dine in. There's a small dedicated lot for parking. Not many high traffic businesses in the plaza, so it's an easy time.”
“Los Toros Meat Market is a great neighborhood Meat Market (carniceria) with a little bit of everything in one small Market. Everyone is very helpful and patient. They have a hot food counter with a variety of specialty dishes. The butchers are very nice and helpful as well. They have a great selection of prepared meats ready to grill, to pan-fry, or just cook on the stove top for quick family dinner. They carry a variety of their own Los Toros Meat Market labeled seasonings, micheladas mixes, salsas, and more.On today's visit, we ordered a couple of pounds of aguachiles, which they didn't have any made but still went ahead and made us an order as we continued shopping till our order was done.Great service and a with smile.”
“I needed to put together a bbq for 10 people with less than an hour to prepare. I used Yelp to find the closest carniceria. Metro was the closest. I got everything I needed. Carne, salsa, onions, radishes, charcoal, beer etc. My bbq was a success!! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Metro is a great 1 stop market. I will be back soon.”
“This market is amazing. They have everything you need. The service is great! The owner is such a friendly old guy. The prices are affordable. The inside is a little on the busy side, but like I said, you'll find whatever you need. If I don't want to go to the store I go to this market and just buy the things I need.”
“This place is very bad very dirty plus is over price the customers service is very bad and when I was going to pay they don't even take debit cards they only take cash I will never come back here never”
“They have the best menudo on the weekend. Their tamales are also good and tasty. You can buy them daily cold or hot. Their customer service is great and their produce and meat/ products are also good.”
