“Jenny was friendly and easy to work with. We negotiated a price that I felt really good about. She was patient and made sure the watch fit perfectly before I left. This was my first watch purchase and I couldn’t be happier. Would recommend to my friends and family looking for watches.”
“What a fascinating place. Nostalgia overload with a wide ranging selection of items including comics, art, jewelry, and so many random collectible pieces. Defining worth a visit and I suggest carving out a couple hours to really enjoy everything they have to offer. Prices are a bit high on some things, but you will find many difficult to find collectibles.”
“Gorgeous craftsmanship and great customer service. They'll help you pick out a ring that looks good, compliments the stone, and fits your finger. Fantastic across the board.”
“I work nearby and have always wanted to stop by. Finally did when my mom was in town for a visit since she loves shops like these. Great customer service and very fair prices. Great place to go for gifts! Will be back.”
“Incredibly happy with the careful way in which my mom's center stone, head and bridge on her engagement and wedding rings were separated, as they had originally been designed, from a conjoined shank (something my mother inexplicably had done) and beautifully soldered onto delicate lovely separate rings. These are the way in which i remember them on my mom's hand.”
“Oh my where do I start. This is my favorite artsy shop in Old Town. It’s very original!
The owner Jill has a wonderful eye for unique treasures. The staff are kind and the location is beautiful. They have expanded for more art. Visit and see for yourself!
Get ready for the holidays.?♂️”
“great find! sam is the nicest man and and excellent jeweler. he's careful and meticulous and helpful. he's so generous with his time and expertise. highest ratings!”
“I don't usually leave reviews but was so
impressed with this business. Peter, the owner, was so sweet. I brought in a charm bracelet for my daughter and he was able to solder all the charms on in just a few hours. He also gave me such a good price. I am definitely coming back to him for all my jewelry and watch repairs.”
“This boutique was my last shot of getting a dress for a wedding event the next day. (Majorly procrastinated) Audrey was amazing in helping me pick a suitable dress. She was very detailed in considering fabric and silhouette. Even bringing additional dresses for suggestions. The best customer service!!!!! She definitely saved me in finding a perfect dress that also covered up all my tattoos too. I really appreciate it so much! Will definitely return!”

“I came in for the first time to sell gold bars the other day. It was my first experience doing so and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The owners are very professional, sweet, and fair. I felt very safe in there store (they didn't let anyone else in while we were doing our exchange), and the owner even walked me back to my car! Great place!”
“Long over due review. I was looking for a local jeweler in Pasadena for a custom engagement ring. After calling around a few other stores, I ended up talking to Nick at Diamano Jewelry, we set up an appointment over the phone. Nick was great, he had a great selection of both lab and natural diamonds. I was able to select the diamond I liked and he put a quote together for my ring. I was in a bit of a rush and he was till able to get my ring done to meet my proposal deadline.
Found a my new Jeweler! I highly recommend Diamano for quality craftsmanship.”
“I've been coming here for over a decade for all my body mod cravings. Clean, careful, quality work is performed here, you can definitely trust them to poke brand new holes in your flesh prison. Shout-out to EdD & Sam for being such gentle & helpful piercers! ??”
“Don’t know how to get started!? Shopped around looking for my 90%. Most everyone was at 22+. Called Steve and he said 20%. Spot was at 30. Walked in and nothing fancy, just business. And what is wrong with that? I mean if Steve was a hot 23 year old female, well then I’d have to pinch myself. Again, nothing fancy but quite unusual that a dealer was selling me 90% $2 back of spot. Get there are he let me count and choose my coins! Say what, normally they throw the bag at you:)! Came home, went through the goods and found some beautiful 65’s and 69’s , went back today and he replaced them with some Franklins. BYW, spot is now at $30.70. He sold me $160 FV at 20 times. Are you serious? Yes I am. Have been jumping in and out for about 10 years and I’ve never have that happened to me. To Steve it was like everyday business, and to me, he assisted me in my journey like no other dealer has! BTW after a few days, and he still sold me $160 FV @ 20 times!!! Get out of here, this shop has been the best to me ever. So, not only could I pick my coins but they offered me an ashtray! He said we are going to be here all day, so take your time!!!”
“Jeweler fixed my Movado watch. Made it like new. I went to two jewelers. Movado store at Citadel could not even fix it.? Apparently they did not have the part! I sent Darbini store a picture through text. They said bring it in and in 10 minutes it was done. I left so happy. Thank you! ?”
“Stephanie Yuan is the best, she not only fantastic sales woman but also great at pamper you and getting you exactly what you like, she looks at you and sees your style and understand your taste, we love her.”
“What a fun little shop. Very old school. Lots of great classic watches at good prices. Owner is helpful and responsive. Got a great watch for a good price and had a number of watches to choose from”
“I love the jewelry, the store is clean. I just hate how the workers stay right behind you as if you were going to take something. Give me some space please!!! Stay 6ft away and let me shop in peace.”
“Salutations Home is a metaphor for old Pasadena. It is cozily tucked away on a side street off Lake Avenue, (across from the old Chronicle Restaurant if you go way back). Similar to The city of Pasadena in relationship to L. A., in need not be boastful of it's subdued elegance. It's very YKIYK. And like Pasadena, there's something for every budget and age range. The decor is thoughtfully curated as one could imagine visiting an eccentric aunt that has spent a life collecting items that delight the senses, be it sight, scent, taste or touch. It's a tactile experience picking up items for closer inspection, the jewelry, linens, and candles entice customers to indulge. If that wasn't enough of a motivator, the complimentary signature gift wrap makes every purchase special. And it's bow wow friendly, I noticed a few well behaved cherished canines in tow during my shopping experience.”

“A one of a kind modern day curio shop and my favorite stop in Pasadena. From wax seals to taxidermy there is an endless supply of unusual bespoke objects. The owners of the Gold Bug are as curious and delightful as the object they sell and always make for splendid conversation. Keep an eye open for special events hosted in the store!”

“I highly recommend visiting this place if you’re looking for cheap pots and fun ceramics. I bought a pot for $12 that would probably go for $25-30 at another store. There’s a wide variety of interesting pots and ceramic decor that I don’t see at regular nurseries. The people who work there are very helpful as well.”
“I have found beautiful Jewelry here twice now -a gorgeous wedding band, more like an engagement ring with besutiful high quality diamonds and a beautiful setting. Wow these guys went above and beyond to give me a great price and my ring is beautiful still …two years later. I feel like my ring is better quality than rings ive gotten from high priced Tiffanys. The highest quality of jewelry and a big selection for women and men. This year i came back to look for a unique piece for my husband.
I found an amazing bracelet so unique and different. I didnt want to go to yurman again too expensive and not unique. But here I lucked out and found a great piece. Amazing service definitely come here you wont be disappointed! By the way… The jewelry also given in a very expensive looking box, polished and just awesome!”
“Excellent appraisals and insurance valuations of my fine jewelry pieces. Very reasonable price. Nice guy, too. I learned a lot during these appraisals - seems there's a lot of disinformation about fine jewelry out there and sometimes the value of an expensive piece of jewelry can either rise or fall due to market variations, style, current fashion, etc. Good to know all these things. Anyway, this was a great experience and I recommend this appraiser wholeheartedly.”
