“I LOVE this little shop! I would way rather spend my money here with someone who is obviously passionate about wine. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable, and each time I go in, I never leave without yet another nugget of knowledge about the wine I just bought.
She has never suggested a wine that I haven’t loved.
I’m so happy I stumbled upon this fabulous wine store.
All her wines are affordable, interesting and oh so good.”
“Great neighborhood spot with spirits, specialty foods and much more. Best selection of craft beers in the area. The staff is always so kind and helpful with recommendations. Love that they bring in vendors for tastings.”
“A quick stop to pick up some Port wine for another day. Our nephew is visiting some people in independent living and wanted to take them some beverage they will enjoy. Sweet guy that he is. Staff were helpful in locating the Port. Free street parking.”
“Customer Service is stellar! I went in 30 minutes before closing time on the 4th of July. I was greeted by a person with a smile and ready to help me choose a wine. The worker asked me what kinds of wine I liked, where I was going to be drinking the wine (chilled or room temperature), full body vs light, etc. She then chose like 3 different high quality bottles. From there, we started narrowing down to single bottle. She told me price point, the differences between the bottles of wine, and so on. We decided on one and I didn’t leave feeling like I could’ve chose a different one. It tasted amazing. Also, I was going to a picnic but didn’t have a wine opener so she opened and corked it for me. She gave me a couple of cups as well. All in all, it was an amazing experience. I’m going to rate it a 12/10. It truly felt like a boutique experience.”
“A+ craft beer singles selection (including Mortalis and Everywhere!) and open late, which is such a value add in sleepy LA. The gas station+ craft beer stop concept is genius. Will be dropping by again soon for sure.
The attendant was friendly and willing to endure my banter with good grace but wasn't a beer nerd or able to offer recommendations. Seems like a curated tasting/training is in order! If you guys ever roll out some sort of 4 pack discount, I 'd for sure buy in greater quantity. (Pics included of my haul and the well lit parking lot.)”
“Reminiscent old-school ‘Dena mom ‘n’ pop store, just how I remember in my own close-by neighborhood long before coming here for the first time. Friendly staff, decent prices, quick in-pay-out.”
“This stop is always clean when I go in, the shop attendant is courteous and kind. They abide by COVID-19 social distancing and health practices. I will come back every time I am in the area.”
“It's a really clean and organized total wine and more. It's kind of hard to expect more right? Well sometimes they have special tasting events for wines. You just got to come at the right time. Wine tasting are from Thursday-Sunday. Make sure to bring your id”
“Angry Wine Merchant delivered an exceptional experience. Mike curated a selection of wines for my holiday client gifts, and the feedback was outstanding—multiple clients followed up with rave reviews and sincere appreciation.
His expertise and taste made the process effortless and ensured I made a strong impression with very important clients. Highly recommended for anyone seeking elevated wine guidance and impeccable service.
Update: Recently worked with Mike again to curate three wines for an intimate milestone birthday dinner, and once again the selections were flawless—perfectly matched to both the food and the mood. Thoughtful, effortless curation that elevated the entire evening.”
“It is a good stop and with front row parking. A straight forward transaction. A vast selection of spirits to start up a party in no time. If I am around the corner vising this is one of my pit stops to grab everything for the party. Prices? Who cares it is convenient. Cashier has Plexiglas all around the counter. Wear a mask to enter is encouraged.”
“Unbelievable spot with an incredible selection. Prices are generally better than all other liquor places. The prices are competitive for collectors who are looking for rare spirits. I liked that about this store. I did some research before I bought some rare whiskies here.”
“Went the day before Thanksgiving to buy a tomahawk steak but they were sold out. One of the butchers there recommended cowboy cut instead. He explained the different grade of beef and we ended up buying prime cuts at $27.99/lb. It was pricey but definitely worth the price as it was buttery soft and a big hit at our Thanksgiving dinner.”
“We are French and we really liked the store and the welcome which is really great.
Lots of alcohol choices with good prices.
We will come back to support.”
“Was going to leave because I thought they didn’t have the drink I was looking for. But then the man at the counter asked what I needed and assured me they had it. He was nice enough to help me find it. His customer service was very friendly. Saw they have a good variety of drinks. I’ll definitely be back.”
“This is now my go-to liquor store in Pasadena. I immediately noticed how clean it is, and I like their selection of both candy and drinks. Their prices are great too, and it's conveniently located off the 210 freeway close to Pasadena City College. I definitely recommend this place if you need a quick coffee before class. (:”
“Just your usual Cost Plus World Market, but without NYSelzter which is a real shame. I remain hopeful for the return of that exquisitly effervescent elixir. Fortunately there is a rare Kuromi kraft or tchotchke such as a PEZ flip-top and refills. Nostalgia bliss. It's no wonder I've a reading chair and cabinet from this place, good quality stuffs with a pleasant and chill bohemian vibe. There is a restroom which requires a code, available from any associate. The parking at this location can sometimes overflow to another lot across the street. Do join their loyalty program with phone and email, sometimes there are specials and discounts plus they've a point rewards system. Ymmv”
“I was down the street at Tops and decided to stop buy and exchange a Lottery scratcher winner. The older cashier man was not that friendly with a frown for a welcome instead of smile, but oh well. It's a small store but with basic convenience items most customers are looking for.”

“The clerk working tonight was fantastic. I felt very welcomed. This is a really great store. I like the lottery selection and that they cater to that, but the beer is a bit expensive. I go here for customer service and lottery selection.”
“From the moment I entered the store I felt welcomed especially from the greeting given to me by Daisey!!! She was working up front at the checkout and greeted me with the biggest smile and asked me if I needed help finding anything. Of course I did and she finished with her customer and then away we went. She helped me grab Rum, mixers, Moonshine Shooters, mixing tools ans so much more...
Good thing I had a Bevmo gift card because I had so much in my basket :)
She signed my up with a Bevmo account so I could collect all the points and so I can also take advantage of some of the sales buy 1 get one for $.05...
Overall really nice shopping experience and would definitely recommend this location.
I will be back for more party drinks!!!”

“I used to come here when it was owned by an old couple. Everything was so outdated back then but they were very nice to me when I stopped by. I was told they sold the store and the store is now being remodeled. The store is so much bigger and is completely transformed into more modern look.
The taco shop is still there thank god! They have tasty soups here so it’s always a plus!
This store has the best price on beers & liquor in town and have a great selection.”
“Stopped by for some lottery tickets and the cashier was so friendly and funny. Love when you can banter with staff (could have been the owner).I’ve been here a few times, usually when I’m getting Shabu next door and always a good experience. Wanted to leave some feedback for the fun and friendly experience today.Have not tied the snacks or booze yet, but I’m pace has a nice open space and feel. Now hoping the good experience turns into good luck for the lotto!!!”
“If your a local this is the place! Is the definition of convince store. I've been going here for 7 years every employee is always so respectful never moody or bland. Everyone loves the Irish guy before they fired him. Everyone else is cool. If your not in the area you come from Beverlyhills yea you may have some judgment because of the homeless people that pass by which in my opinion they are just people they mind their own buissness.”
“I recently visited BevMo looking for some fine wines for a dinner party, and I was extremely impressed with the selection! The staff was incredibly helpful, offering recommendations and letting me sample a few varieties. The quality of the wine was top-notch, and the pricing was fair. I was able to get a few excellent bottles without breaking the bank. Overall, great service, an expansive selection, and fantastic value!”
“The best Vons that I ever seen in southern California, we need to call it city of VONS, you have to see to believe it. Food section makes everyone hungry footlong sandwich, Chinese cuisine, all types of salad and chicken dishes prepared to perfection. With friendly and helpful.”

“Before heading to Pasadena yesterday, my car gas gauge was at 2 bars. I said I'll just get gas after my workout. Sure enough... my gas gauge was blinking upon leaving my workout location LOL. I had to quickly find a gas station. Well, the nearest gas station was at least 5 minutes from where I was at. It was between Chevron or Shell. Guess who won? You got it... Shell!Funny, as I was driving to Shell, I saw Chevron, but it was on the other side of the street that I was driving on so I said I'll just stick with Shell. Great corner location on Del Mar Blvd and Arroyo Parkway. Clean exterior. Prices were several cents cheaper than Chevron... yay! They also have a food mart, but I didn't go in. I prefer to pay at the pump unless I really need to go inside. If they run out of paper, I just make myself a note on gas cost and be on my way and not bother going inside to get receipt. Anyway, thanks Shell for being present when I needed you most!”
“They have exotic drink options for sureee.
I received friendly service with genuine, sincere advice on picking out solid bday bottles.
Found some AMAZING strawberry Japanese gin for example (I will return for that). The gentleman came from behind the counter to personally pick out stellar options.
Appreciate it! Thank you guys.”
