“I grew up in a shop, working on cars, motorcycles, and airplanes with my brother and father. My father would have us re-do anything that wasn't up HIS standard. I tell people this because the reason I have been going to Ara for years is that he is the only mechanic I have done repeated business with that has such a high standard for the quality of his work. I drive a 2011 Mini Cooper Clubman with a turbo and it runs better than when I bought it new. I really enjoy that I can drop by Ara's shop without notice when he's working on my car - we get to talk shop and he walks me through what he's doing and I'm always so happy to see someone doing a high quality and meticulous job that they're beaming with pride over. I can try and scrutinize his work as much as I want, but I always have to admit he does a better job than I could, even if my father made me re-do it three times, lol. If I have so much auto experience why do I take my car to a mechanic at all?
