“We attended a family wedding here which was absolutely beautiful. They were married in the outdoor courtyard and cocktail hour was in the main lobby. We also enjoyed dinner and dancing in the large ballroom.”

“This is a good place, I was at my nephew's wedding, and I liked it, there are good views of the passageway, also this house is located near the Shakespeare house, it seems to me they are quite similar, I also like the staff here, that is, how they prepare and hold events here, in general the house is not bad, and even excellent, I recommend everyone to visit it ?”

“It is spacious and has multiple entrances, making it easy to get in and out.Very comfortable. It's a beautiful place. There is a parking lot right across the street, but I'm not sure how much it is. However, it seemed a bit crowded due to the large number of event crowds. If you don’t mind walking about a blockParking at E Green St, Pasadena, CA 91101 is $12 per day. It's a bit disappointing that there is no discount on parking.”

“Went to the Jack Scott congratulation event sponsored by the Pasadena City College Foundation. Spectacular. Beautifully organized, delicious hors d’ouevres, sound system and stage set up excellent. A wonderful event. Loved the new renovations. A great club. A great city.”

“NOOR was not only perfect for our wedding size, the staff and team (especially Robert) were incredibly thoughtful, kind, and helpful. I wish more venues had this level of transparency with cost. Everything was incredibly easy for us to book, customize, and adjust. We just had our dream wedding and our guests keep talking about how much they loved the space and food! Thank you so much!

Update: One major item I forgot to mention; this venue was near the site of the LA fires in Jan 2025. The amount of work the Noor team did to support the impacted local community left me so reassured that this was the ideal place to be married. Nothing feels better than knowing you are supporting a business that supports others. Thank you Noor team for all you've done for so many couples and the LA community!”

“Celebrated my daughter's 21st Birthday and had a great time! The space was perfect for our guests and still had lots of room for the private vendors that we hired that night. I read some reviews just now about this venue and majority mentioned about them liking the natural light during the day. Ours was a night event and I cannot emphasize how nice the photos came out when our photographer took pictures of our guests in the alley and against the red brick wall outside! It was CLASSIC! Venue was clean and staff were very helpful. I wished the response level was quicker when I had questions during the planning stages but I'll still give Whimsy a 5 star because that is more on me - being in the sales/corporate business, I need to respond ASAP or lose the deal type of thing. I wished they had a branch closer to where I live but either way, I will consider booking with them again in the future. Thank you Whimsy!”

“For our wedding-Had bridal suite and rooms blocked for guests. Overall great experience. Staff were attentive, helpful, friendly, loved the personal touches with welcome frame at front desk for guests/wedding, and the hotel has nice areas for bridal photos including front lobby area and in suite. Smaller hotel with smaller beds/room, but in great location and offers breakfast. Great timely responses from sales staff for months prior. Would stay here again!”

“Stearns Japanese Garden is a charming, peaceful spot, though smaller than most Japanese gardens in Southern California. It still offers plenty of beauty — mature trees line the paths, koi swim actively through the pond, and there are a few turtles lounging near the water’s edge. You’ll also find a couple of quaint bridges and a traditional tea ceremony house, which also serves as a lovely venue for intimate weddings.

The trail loops around the garden and includes a hillside portion, so keep in mind that roughly half the path has an incline. It’s not ideal for wheelchairs or strollers. There’s a small waterfall that adds to the ambiance, along with a modest gift shop and large, accessible restrooms.

Overall, it’s a quick but pleasant visit — great for a quiet stroll, photos, or a relaxing break in nature. If you enjoy Japanese gardens, it’s worth a stop, just expect a more compact layout compared to places like Huntington or Descanso.”

“I had my daughter’s wedding here this past Sunday. The owner worked with us on everything that we needed. Our server Anna checked in with us 2 weeks prior to the event to get everything finalized. Her and the rest of the staff did an amazing job! The food had great flavor. The bride and groom were very happy how everything turned out. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Would definitely recommend to others and we will be returning if we need to have another big event.”

“BEAUTIFUL place. The area itself is beautiful and the vast garden and walking path is amazing. You can host anything there from a conference to a wedding. Just don't park there after your event because they will lock you inside the gated parking area. That was my experience. I had to call 911 to get me out. I went for a walk after my event (which ended at 4pm) and when I returned (around 5pm) staff locked the gates and I was stuck. They saw my car and the park was still supposed to be open but they locked me in and left anyway. It took 2 hours for me to get out. I live 2 hours away. I must say the police that were on the scene were very nice. They did an investigation afterwards because this apparently happens a lot.”

“My wife and I recently got married on 11.02.24 and had our reception take place at Imperial. It was absolutely perfect! Since the beginning of the booking process, to the food tasting, and our final walk through with linen choice, guest seating, time line, vendors set-up, and drinks, the entire experience was truly stress free.

Amelia and Amber were ALWAYS friendly, honest, and professional. They both were always available to answer any questions we had and were always flexible to set up a meeting with them. We also appreciated how relaxed and straightforward they were with us because it made things so much more simple. It's easy to over think things when planning a wedding and working with them made it a pleasant experience.

We had a guest total of 200 that showed up and every single person loved everything about the venue. We aren't exaggerating, they all loved it! There was plenty of food for everyone and it was so delicious! A lot of guest said they wish they could take some home. During the cocktail hour, they provided sweet and fresh fruit to our guest and also served hors d'oeuvres that were delicious as well.

We bought our own alcohol for our specialty drinks and the bartender that they provided did a great job making drinks for everyone. We asked Amelia about the bartender and she happily gave us his contact. We were able to talk to the bartender, Joe, about the kind of drinks we wanted and how much alcohol/beer to buy. Joe is super cool and really helpful! Thank you Joe!

The staff did an outstanding job the from beginning to the very end of the reception. The valet staff were all friendly and helpful. They made it easy for vendors to pull in and unload their equipment. Guest had no issues getting their vehicles back and left with no issues.
Two security guards were at the front by the entrance, (venue provided) and kept professional all night. The guest tables and sweetheart tables were all clean and presentable with food already at the table and a lot of guest really appreciated how the servers were so attentive to everyone. As soon as a food tray was empty they replaced it immediately with another full one. To the all the staff, all of you are awesome!

“This is the place that I first went for dance classes. Aukai and Chris pushed me to become a better dancer. That helped me come out in the WNBA halftime show LA SPARKS. Also the owner of this studio is a great person. All around this dance studio you’ll be surprise it’s a gem and more people need to come. I love you all from BODACIOUS”

“Came for a wedding and was pleasantly surprised by the interior space. The exterior of the building is a little off putting but when you enter, just wow! The creative design possibilities with this interior space are endless. Very beautiful and from what I’m told, extremely affordable for the Pasadena area.”

“This business originally opened in 1977 at another location. This location has 2 banquet halls that can be custom decorated for your event. One space has a capacity for 180, the other 450. They also have a kitchen for catering. Call the phone number for more information. They don't seem to have a website, possibly because its an older established business in the community.I recently learned from a local that she has been going to events at this venue since she was a kid. Her whole family has their weddings and receptions there. I live right by the venue and when I first moved here I heard the sounds of celebrations every Friday and Saturday night.”

“I recently attended the Chappell Roan Concert at this venue. I was surprised by the venue's size. It felt more like a concert festival grounds, all for one artist. That being said my one complaint was the transit and parking options. I parked at a garage that was a free shuttle ride away. While the way to the venue was smooth and quick, the wait after the concert was painfully long. The queue wrapped pretty far, and I was in line for nearly an hour. If you can avoid the parking struggles you should!”

“Came in on a Friday night around 7pm it was pretty crowded but they still had lanes available. The staff was outstanding thanks so much to our server Ella and the manager Tomas was a huge help to our entire party.”

“This hotel was just perfect for a business trip. Great rooms, great accommodations and amenities, a delicious continental breakfast, good parking, and close to do many nice and convenient places. Even if not for business, this would be a perfect place for a little getaway with a nail salon, a massage salon, and great food nearby. And guess what, they allow dogs! 10/10”
