“Recently moved to the area and were looking for a good veterinarian. We have had so many pets over the years and our experience with small animal vets has been mediocre at best. That is until we discovered Vetco. I'm not going to lie, I was a little skeptical about Vetco at first. But from the very first time we visited Vetco Total Care on Laguna in Elk Grove, we were simply blown away. The staff has more than exceeded our expectations. They immediately treated us like family. Unfortunately, the staff of other vets that I have tried in the area always made me feel that I was imposing on them. Here was a typical phone conversation with their front desk: "Hi! this is _____. . ." They would respond: "Yesssssss?" Guys, I am not kidding. No hello. No "how are you?" just "yesssssss?" WTF. Keep in mind, I had no issue with the veterinarian. But their front desk staff (the face of their practice) were horrendous. Everybody has a bad day, but this became a pattern. It got to the point where I hesitated to call if I had any questions or concerns. That's simply wrong. Our pets depend on us to be their advocates. The outright bullying that I was experiencing with these other vet clinics could no longer be tolerated. So as a veteran business person and sales professional, I mentioned it to the doctor. . .BIG mistake! Enough about them. . .after our last visit with Vetco I told my partner of over 35 years that "this has been the best veterinary experience we have EVER had!" and he whole-heartedly agreed. Vetco sincerely takes an interest in our pets and us. We couldn't recommend them more. On top of that, if you are a Petco Vital Care member, you get all kinds of discounts and perks like free vet visits and pet food discounts. Also, if you are waiting for your pet during an in-office procedure, you can browse through the store while you wait or visit the many local restaurants and retail establishments in the shopping center. Oh, and did I mention, they offer grooming services as well! This is really a no-brainer for us from a quality, affordability and convenience perspective. This one-stop shop is guaranteed to take a lot of the unnecessary stress out of your busy lives. We highly recommend!!!”

“I really wish that I could remember the name of the vet that helped me. I'm sure my chart would show. I think the assistant was Ashlyn. But I had the most amazing experience at this vet than I've ever had at any other vet before. they actually take the time to sit down and get to know you and your pet, and they don't make it feel rushed. Nowadays with the way insurance runs medical offices. Everybody is more like a numbers game. And you really don't feel that way here. And they got me in and out in less than 40 minutes for my first time here in establishing care with my dog. thank you so much.”

“I had to bring my cat in because of a problem with in her ear. THEY WERE GREAT! She was misdiagnosed by 2 vets before saying she had ear mites when in fact it was a yeast infection. The reason for 4 stars is I called back after 2 weeks thinking she may need more medication and they took a message and said the doctor would call back (or someone to let me know if I can just get some meds for her ear). No one called. I called back again this time wanting an appointment because I thought her ear was getting worse. They told me I was supposed to come back for a follow up appointment BUT no one ever told me that. I brought her back and saw another doctor and problem fixed! Her infection is gone but they taught me how to clean her ear once a week because she has a lot of wax in that ear. BOTH doctors were great BUT communication not so much. I will continue to take my cat there because they really took care of her. The first appointment she had to be sedated to flush the ear out.”

“I have been taking my Shi Tsu to Dr Estes for almost his whole life. Since 2007. I found the doctor to be a very caring person and treated my fur baby very well. My little guy is a friendly little guy to all unless he picks up on something in that person and he try's to get away. A very personable dog as well as very particular about who he likes. I have dumped two grooming places because of them scaring him so bad. I have never felt pushed into buying there products, even though they are very good products. I have waited a few minutes when they get slammed, but nothing outrageous. I would recommend Dr Estes without a doubt.”
“Pet Care Veterinarian Clinic has been absolutely amazing taking care of all of my pets in the past 3 years! All the providers have been compassionate, supportive, excellent educated experience and professional. Every staff member is friendly and compassionate and so helpful. Pet Care is so accommodating, understanding and sorrow from booking an appointment to following up with prescription refills and aftercare questions, Etc I have had complicated pet issues and they have been outstanding with their care and referrals. I lost two of my most precious cats back to back and they have the most beautiful, peaceful, healing dwelling space and allow you to spend as much time as you need with your pet. I have had numerous vets in the past 30 years; with complicated, high maintenance and end stage pets and Pet Care Veterinarian Clinic and their entire staff from the front desk to the vet tech to the provider are the most excellent in service and care. I was referred to Pet Care and we have referred several of our friends, family and coworkers. I have never written a review before but, I felt so compelled to inform the public of how excellent, extraordinary, trustworthy, caring and affordable Pet Care Veterinary Clinic truly is.”

“Our dog had a lens luxation that is basically an issue that some dogs have that causes the lens of their eye to fall out of place and is considered an emergency. The day he had this happen, our primary vet contacted Animal Eye Center to try and get us in that day and they very graciously saw us within the hour. Dr. Edwards and her staff were so sweet and comforting (I was a complete mess from having seen my dog be in so much pain all day at this point and fearing he had gone blind). Dr. Edwards explained what had happened in terms my husband and I would understand and was very reassuring which is exactly what we needed. She got our dog into surgery that afternoon and he was home recovering that night. The surgery was absolutely flawless and he is healing up so perfectly. I attribute this to not only the doctor's top notch expertise in her field, but also the clear and concise instructions that were sent home with us for his after care and medication schedule. All that being said, what truly makes Animal Eye Center the best veterinary specialist I have ever taken a pet to is the fact that they have an emergency line for their surgical patients in the event something comes up outside of office hours. A couple weeks after his surgery, we thought we were having the same issue arise in his other eye and Dr. Edwards got us in again, within the hour, on a weekend! The level of care that is being given to my fur baby by Animal Eye Center far exceeds expectations, so I am just so thankful for them and I truly feel so grateful that if this issue had to happen with my dog, they are the ones who are caring for him.”
“The staff that helped us were very friendly, helpful with their advice, and I never got the feeling they were pushing us to purchase anything we didn't need. They were gentle with our cat and we liked our experience overall.The wait time was a bit long (we were 6th in line before they opened, and we waited for 2 hours before we were seen; our visit only took 10-15 minutes once it was our turn ), but there is a check-in process you can follow online to hopefully not have to wait so long in person (we didn't know about this process until we arrived because it was our first visit).Overall, we would recommend this VIP PetCare Clinic to others, and we plan to return!”
