“Very cool little store with lots of baked goods! We stopped by while driving up to Big Sur, and it was definitely worth the stop. The garlic artichoke bread was amazing, and I also got an apple crisp that was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!”
“If you're looking for the perfect New Year's Day vibe, look no further. We stopped by the San Gregorio General Store on January 1st and it was absolutely the place to be. Live band playing, energy was high, and the whole atmosphere just felt like a celebration.
There's something special about this spot. It's got that old-school general store charm but comes alive with music and community. Everyone was in great spirits, the band was fantastic, and it reminded me why these hidden coastal gems are worth the drive.
Can't wait to come back on another weekend with live music. If you haven't been, make the trip.”
“This concentrated trading post stands next to
The iconic Alice’s Restaurant and Alices gas station. They offer a few household supplies like fish and laundry detergent amid snacks and bottled beverages. They offer supplies for hikers and bikers like local made jerky which is delicious.
The deli offers a. Array on international items like dolmades, Indian specialities and my favorite of corn husk wrapped tamales in flavors.
Accessible entry snd cr ur with wide aisles.
Worth a stop on the way to Alice’s Restaurant”
“This is nice market with all the typical stuff plus veggies. And they honey from a local farmer. Only thing is they need to mark items with prices. Most are not marked.”
“The taste of Jacob’s Farm del Cabo Sugar Plum Grape Tomatoes is suberb. I will go out of my way to find them & their recycled paperboard containers with the cellulose window. We need more of these excellent products in wonderful packaging!”
