Grocery Stores near Pioneer, CA

5 locations found near Pioneer

“Nice small grocery store. Great to have in Pioneer. Have all the essentials, a meat counter and produce aisle. Sure prices are higher then a Safeway or Raileys but we are up in Pioneer that's expected. Freezer aisle and along the back.
Clerks are so amiable that it just makes me feel good shopping there.
Plenty of parking
They also have things you can order cooked in the deli....so hungry one morning. Heard someone order biscuits and gravy so I got that. Good but a bit too salty. Also made to order sandwiches. I have seen sushi, donuts, cooked chicken tenders, potato salad along with others in deli. Have great French bread when they have it. A little bakery table with very expensive items that help me not buy them, and a liquor aisle.
Good place to pick up groceries.”

“Best gas station ever! It's hard to find places that have so much upcountry. Annoying that so many mASSk-holes gave it one star. I bet they are the type of people who wear a mask when they are alone in their car.”

“This place is good for the location it's at, it gets a lot of stuff and a big selection of items. And perfect for getting your last min things before heading into town. The only thing is the price is high but I guess that's expected being it's up near the mountains. Price is the only reason for 4 stars.”

“We lived 1 mile down the road for about a year. This place is a gem. Dave and Ellie are absolutely great folks and the market has all the essentials: grocery staples, household products, cold beer and treats, even movie rentals. In the back of the store, there are chairs and card tables for board games or eating lunch. During the cold times, they always have a gloriously inviting pellet stove burning which makes it a great place to lounge for a bit. Also, Dave often has a lot of decent refurbished tools, furniture, electronics, and even vehicles for sale out in front of the store. We miss Volcano dearly, and we have very fond memories of taking our small children down to Big Trees Market.”

“This is a gas station with a nice little convenience store. The store has the usual snacks & candy plus some more substantial food like frozen pizzas and cold sandwiches. The regular selection of sodas, water gatorades, etc. is decent as are the selections of liquor & beer. Stage Stop (what locals call Frontier Station) is open until 10 pm (which is later than most places here in UpCountry). Staff is friendly & I've always had positive experiences visiting here!”
