I didn't come back that afternoon, but today I did.

Arrived for a pickup w my boy, and decided to do the usual...browse prior to. Halfway through wandering, an HD associate was pushing a cart with stuff, assuredly on a mission, but stopped by me by Aisle 5 and asked if I need assistance. I didn't really, but something made me ask where the shelving section is...he perfectly and politely said Aisle 7 ? Then he took his leave. Ok I'm still impressed!

Went to the Order Pickup and the folks there were A+, greeted me even though they're busy. Eventually an HD associate with a yellow reflective PPE professionallynand courteously assisted me. I really appreciated that. Then....he went to grab our order, and he even let us get a cart first through the one way barriers! Then he offered to scan our impulse purchases (I expected to scan these myself at the checkout) so he can save me time, dead ass.

Icing on the cake...he went to the back again and came back with some pencils for my son for free!

Great shopping experience ?

Super friendly greeting this morning from at least 4 Home Depot associates......

In the last 5 years I've been going here, never happened before. They got a great selection but a simple greeting was a first from this location.

Not sure what's up, perhaps it's because the manager is having his morning meeting with staff ?

I have to come back later on this afternoon so I'll see if that still holds true ?”

“When I go into Lowe’s, I have an idea of what I want, but I do not have the right words to describe it. On January 28, I went into the Lowe’s store on Auto Center Drive in Antioch California. As usual, I knew what I wanted, but I was having trouble getting it across. I needed a certain kind of board to make shelves and Alex and Parker were able to ask the right questions, figure out what it was I was after, and took me to the exact spot where they were kept. I am one happy shopper!”
