My recent visit to The Home Depot on Katella Ave in Orange, CA, was mostly great, although it had one notable low point. Let's break it down, shall we?My mission for the day was simple - just a couple of boxes and some tape for an upcoming move. Of course, as with any trip to Home Depot, I found myself wandering around the store; you never know when inspiration might strike for a new DIY project, right?While navigating the store, I had the pleasure of meeting Anna in the kitchen area, who kindly pointed me in the right direction when I was looking for the restroom. Staff like Anna are what make shopping experiences truly enjoyable - it's not just about buying products, but the interaction and the community feel that really matter.Now, the one unfortunate aspect of my visit was the state of the bathroom. It was, to put it mildly, not up to par. I had to walk right back out, which wasn't a pleasant surprise.To sum it all up, The Home Depot on Katella Ave is a great place to shop for all your DIY and home improvement needs. It's brimming with potential project ideas and great staff like Anna. However, the cleanliness of the restroom could definitely use some attention. For this reason, I'm giving this Home Depot location a solid 4 stars - a little polishing and it could easily reach that 5-star standard. Keep up the great work, and let's clean up those bathrooms! “We needed a dryer ASAP because ours went caput. As soon as Pacific Sales opened at 10:00 AM, my husband and I were there. We were greeted by Sean who was very helpful and answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. I told him we needed a dryer delivered the same week. We chose an LG dryer because I read they were the best and most reliable. Sean scheduled our delivery and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes. I took off one star because the young lady who checked us out at the front wasn't the most friendly employee. You can do better than that, Pacific Sales. We're repeat customers and so are my parents. It's possible to lose customers and referrals based on a negative experience with one employee.”

“We did a full home renovation a little over a year ago, but I accidentally forgot about this place and decided to do a review now since we bought several items here and they have mostly stood up to the test of time. We bought 2 large LED mirrors for our Master Bathroom which have actually been fantastic. We also bought 2 other LED mirrors from Costco for our other bathrooms, and I'll have to say that the ones we bought here are much, much better and they were around the same price as Costco. You can definitely see the difference in quality not only in the lighting, but also in the mirror quality as the mirror we bought here has a much more clear reflection. I always thought a mirror is a mirror, but that is absolutely not true and it's clear when you have two different brands to compare them to each other, you can definitely see how one might have a better reflection than another. We also bought a freestanding bath tub which has so far been excellent. No issues so far and it also feels much bigger when you actually take a bath in it, then when when we saw it in the showroom. This also was probably around $200-300 cheaper than if we bought a similarly sized one at Home Depot or Lowes. With our freestanding bath tub, we also bought a freestanding bathtub faucet in nickel. Again, so far it's worked great and we have no complaints. This also was much cheaper than buying a more popular name brand such as Delta or Kohler. I would think it was more than half the price of the name brands. This was probably our best deal at Luxor. Finally, we bought 2 different brands of one-piece elongated toilets. This was probably our biggest disappointment. Although the price of these toilets were probably around one-half of name brands, such as Kohler, I think in the future, I would just go with a name brand. These aren't bad toilets, but one of the brands has really cheap seats that move around a lot. We tried to replace the seats, but it's hard to find a perfect size that fits. While the other toilet's seat is fine, but will splash a little water outside the bowl when you flush, which is kind of gross. Overall, we can live with the deficiencies of these toilets and would probably give them 3 stars for the price, but taking into account the other items, I'd have to give them 5 stars. Also, overall, the customer service is good. I wouldn't say great, but good and probably better than if you were to purchase at Home Depot or Lowes.”

“I went here in interest of what kind of BBQ grills they have as an option and what they offer as I like things to be visual. It's on that right hand plaza next to an Italian restaurant. The owner here as I hear many reference as Sunny is knowledgeable and provided an answer to my questions. As I looked around I witnessed him helping out a lady who came in interest. She was to the point type of person and came off abrasive but Sunny was gentle and kind offering solutions and options with no intent to rush her interest in making a decision to purchase. I heard him provide realistic time frame on the product of her interest. Considering His main warehouse is in Corona, CA as the shop here has a variety of BBQ brands and options. I did hear Sunny say that He carried over 20 brands so if your looking for a BBQ Grill or even a customized outdoor setup for your home I experienced the option to customize to the specs that would fit my idea of space. Thank you for your help and knowing you remain the same with other customers helps me make a comfortable decision on who to go with. Staff here we're accommodating offering water as it was a warm and humid day. Tim Kennan was knowledgeable in what to expect during the whole process of installation. Kyle was extremely helpful in providing additional details of other products I had questions for when Sunny allowed me to look around and the customer walked in. Luke who put together the specs, and what it could look like was open to hearing and tailoring to customize the way I would like my outdoor kitchen to appear. Can't wait to celebrate once I get my new BBQ Grill! Thank you BBQ Outlets I will surely refer you to others.”

“Home Depot is always a place of nostalgia for me, taking me back to my childhood when I'd take trips with my dad to pick up supplies for home renovation projects and with my mom for gardening projects. This location on imperial hwy has been here for over 15 years (based on how long I've been going) and it has always been consistent. The aisles are always well kept, there are usually plenty of employees that you can flag down for help, and their garden options are always so plentiful. They also always have someone at self checkout to assist if needed and they're always so pleasant which is a nice way to exit the store”

“I have to drive a few extra miles to shop at Lowes..but its worth it. Lowes has alot of nice products that Home Depot doesnt have. Lowes is always very nice and clean and the staff is always helpful and very friendly.”

“I stumbled on this place after having a not so pleasant experience with another guy. My dryer had not been igniting and needed someone to come and fix it without trying to sell me all the bells. Sean came out the same day to see if I needed a new dryer or if he could fix it. Unfortunately I did need a new dryer and he showed me a few that I could purchase from them. He told me to shop around to see if I could find a better price elsewhere and didn't push me to buy anything from him. The efficiency, honesty, and level of service he provided left me feeling like I was in good hands. The very next day he delivered me a brand new dryer and installed all within the span of probably 40 minutes. If I didn't have an upstairs unit he probably would've been quicker! Overall I cannot recommend appliance world and their staff enough. If anything ever breaks in this house again, I know who I'll be calling.”

I'm holding up the work because contractor is waiting for the shower valve. Finally, I decided to go to someone who could take my specifications, and find the system for me. I walked in and Daniel was at the counter. He patiently looked up every feature I wanted and put together a system i was looking for AND made sure I had all of the pieces required for assembly. I was so happy when I left.”

They deliver within 25 miles for a very fair price and I'm impressed with the customer service. They also hauled our old unit away. Getting our new fridge into our house was very difficult due to our narrow doorways but Mo didn't give up and got creative. I will definitely be coming back here next time we need to replace an appliance. We easily saved over a grand getting our fridge here vs a big box store.”
