I occasionally drop on into the Placerville location. It's on Placerville Drive, a few minutes drive north of the Highway 50 exit.

The shop'soverall customer service is pretty good. The majority of the staff are awesome. A few weeks ago, I dropped in to check out the swim gear. But took a detour looking at the shoes. The associate (with reddish hair and eyeglasses) working that department helped me look for a couple of running shoes from the backroom inventory. No luck, none my size. Then as I was walking away, he took it upon himself to peruse the clearance rack, for my size and shoe type. At this time I only ventured a few aisles away, he found me to show me a pair he found on clearance. Visually, they were in great condition. A brand and style, and color palette I was looking for. It was the right size. I tried them on, they fit perfectly. Comfy. Better yet it was an additional 20% off. So all together the price was 47% off from the original retail price. Score.

But gotta say, sure would appreciate a public restroom. Especially considering this Big 5 is in a stand alone building not close to any other retail businesses or within a shopping”
