“Enjoyed Eden Vale for my wifes birthday. A wonderful, serene, and top notch place to stay. The massages were the best we ever had. The breakfast was fantastic, the room well appointed and comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic. My wife and I wished we could have stayed one more night and enjoy the grounds a bit more, especially out by the pond. A perfect place to just meditate and read a good book. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend Eden Vale for an anniversary or romantic getaway.”

“For years, there has been one place where I bought cherries each spring. Fausel Farm. They have consistently had the best cherries in the foothills, and I lived there, and sampled them all.
Life has me living in the flatlands, but when the fruit ripens, rest assured. I will be driving up the hill to Fausel.
**I hope they still sell cherries as in years gone by.**”

“We’ve been here a few times now. Each time we’ve received excellent wines, exceptional service, and always an outstanding view. We’ve been twice with Erin doing our pours and she is very attentive, personable and just friendly. She seems passionate about learning ( had a book open to learn about tasting notes, price range, and much more information to better her knowledge). She even recognized us during our second visit with her! We recommend this winery to all of our friends and have shared the David Girafd experience with friends who have brought more friends. Will come back as often as we can!”

“It's beautiful and the pods with furniture are very cool and a heater inside. The wine was awesome as well.

“I almost don’t want to write this review so this place could stay a secret. We come to the area a couple times a year for wine and apples and we always look for a room at Davies inn first. The price is unbeatable. Linda is very nice and accommodating. The rooms are clean with a nice fireplace for those colder nights. It’s the perfect rustic cabin vibe. It has AC for warmer months and heaters for colder months. The property is big with well kept gardens. We will stay here again and again every time we come to placerville.”

“My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights late April early May and we could not have been happier with the accommodations or the location. Our host were very hands on and took care of our every need. A delicious healthy breakfast was provided every morning to get us started. The Inn was centrally located to all of the restaurants and wineries in the area as well as being only 60 miles from South Lake Tahoe which was well worth the trip. To say the views from the pool area were breathtaking would be an understatement. We would definitely return here again.”

“Beautiful venue with a stage, high ceilings and a full kitchen. I came here for a Quince and it was a great venue for it! It was a tad hot, but it was also over 100 degrees outside at the time so everything was hit everywhere in the state. We parked across the street.”

“We had our daughter wedding here last Wednesday Oct 2024.
I was highly disappointed as we walked on wet grass and sat on muddy chairs, my dress along with several others had mud on them, the next complaint I have is the food we paid for the Buffett and had to ask numerous times for to go plates I am shocked we were able to take our deserts home but nothing else. I’m wanting partial payment back for the food because there was a lot left over and I read that large venues like this is suppose to provide the to go plates. Well everytime someone asked for one it was an inconvenience, we paid for wine that was never was used but couldn’t take that home as well because no cap. So I don’t get it it’s ok to take our deserts home but the food no ? They rather you give away the food instead of it being thrown away is what I read on the California food law.
I didn’t pay for everyone else to eat off my dime. So if someone from this venue wants to reach out to me they can.
Other then those complaints the venue was nice but very expensive if your planning on having a wedding here.”

“There were no events today but it's open so you can walk around. It's a nice area to walk a dog. There is a lot of grass so she could run. And there are little areas where you can explore. It's a nice alternative to a park. There is ample seating and shady areas. We will be going back.”
