“The Santa Monica Pier feels like a lawless land. It's always a little crazy with hordes of people with selfie sticks, vendors selling all sorts of tourist stuff, rides that I have never been on, and of course a lovely view of the ocean. As a resident of the general area, I would never go here regularly but it is a quintessential place to see.”
“My buddy and I needed to knock out 2 hours because I drove my wife to the Pantages theatre to see Momma Mia. My buddy found this place on line. We went and what an awesome place. Lots of comfortable couches and large chairs. Tables and many ash trays and torches on all the tables. They have their own house blend cigars. I am a Maduro fan so we got two cigars. The cigars were recommended by the friendly girl that works there. There is no alcohol but they have soda and water. The price was fair and they have a bunch of TVs. It was a great time and we enjoyed the cigars!! I will definitely be going back when my wife wants to go to the Pantages again!! GREAT PLACE and I will be back!!”

“We had our March 2024 wedding at Bel Air Bay Club and had a great experience from start to finish! This venue fit our "formal beach" aesthetic perfectly, and the entire planning process was so smooth. We initially booked with Liz and the transition to working with Ashley as our event coordinator was seamless. Ashley fielded our many many questions with such patience and clarity, and always responded quickly. All information and deadlines were given in a clear and timely fashion.We also booked one of the hotel rooms on site and that department was equally as helpful and responsive.On the day of, our planners were so complimentary of all the staff, especially the GM. One of our planners said that he was always present and accommodating whenever they needed anything. We received so many compliments on the food, with many guests saying that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding.Overall, we had a great experience having our wedding at BABC and would highly recommend it!”
“I'm travel for work and pleasure and I'm always looking for a coffee shop with good vibes. In the US, it's rare to find a black woman owned coffee shop that also roast their own beans! These ladies know their beans! You will feel welcome when standing outside, and then when you go in, the love will comfort you like a hug. They have the best Guatemalan roast, I've found in this country from east to west and north to south! If you don't believe me, then try them out.”
“The atmosphere is kind of odd. I don’t want to steer anyone away from visiting because it benefits the cats, but it was so quiet and most of the cats were sleeping the whole time. Even the kittens. It seemed kinda weird and depressing. One had a lil eye infection and was kept with the other kittens too”

“I took my daughter to Ball N Bounce for her first birthday. The staff was amiable and helpful; they walked us through the process and showed us the facility. It's a small facility, but you can only expect a little since it's in an expensive area. One of the most important things I like is cleanliness; their staff was on top, cleaning the top surface, and everything was organized and in its place. I will take my daughter back since she had a lot of fun.”

With the stage already set up for a DJ and/or band, and a great space for dancing, bar and room for dining at the back, who could ask for more? Our party was a great success in no small party thanks to Michael, who couldn't have been more helpful.”

“This is one of the easier to find Halls at UCLA. It's more centralized and somehow has a classy feeling inside and out. The podium, projector, and mic makes it easy to hear professors. The seats are easy to navigate and pretty spacious. My favorite part are the huge, huge gorgeous windows in the auditorium and super high ceilings. It's just a lovely place I'm sure students will look back fondly on.”
“I took my niece for a bday party and wow was it amazing. It was a 2 hour party and I had a hard time to get her to leave. They even gave us s free kids trucker hat that she has been wearing non stop. Will definitely book my own party here!”

“Going to the Pantages is an experience. Been more than a dozen times, see something new every time. We were row S for our most recent show, and could see the stage clearly. It was cold inside! Ok to bring a small blanket.”
“Good food. We ordered the chicken Cesar salad, pepperoni pizza and truffle pizza.The first two were very delicious. The brie-truffle pizza was simply alright.But lets talk about that homemade giant cinnamon roll though …. I’d drive all the way there to satisfy that craving any day!The cappuccino was good too. First time in LA I found a decent capp, I usually order cappuccinos and end up with lattés !The location is perfect, overlooking the water. Would absolutely recommend.”
“Monarch Ballroom is probably the most beautiful dance studio and event space in LA County with really amazing teachers! Their Beginner Ballroom Class on Mondays and Beginner Rhythm on Tuesdays are just great! You could learn different variety of moves at any dance you like (cha-cha, waltz, rumba, foxtrot). And the instructors Max and Eduard are super fun and knowledgeable!! Plus all the people at the studio are so nice and warm! You always feel like home away from home!”

“The pool complex does not open until Memorial Day weekwnd, May 25th. Open daily June 26-Sept 2. A classic pool. Huge. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Very good changing rooms with devices to spin your wet cloths dry. There is NO depth less than abt 3 feet. Non-swimmers must be accompanied by adult. They have lots of swim vests.”

“The food was actually incredible. They use an excessive amount of cheese while still staying behind the line of "too much", plenty of herbs sprinkled on top, good pepperoni and perfectly crunchy and thick crust. Fries were crisp and crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The restaurant was clean with ample space between tables and seats. My only complaint is the service. The employees are so nice, enthusiastic, and friendly, but they need a better system for getting food out. Too many people taking turns sending orders out, they aren't very loud people either so it's hard to listen to your order unless you're right at the counter but you don't want everyone crowding the space. If this place invested in establishing a proper organization to serving, they wouldn't ever slow down because their employees, food, and restaurant are fantastic”
“I came with some friends and we really liked this place. It has a rustic, 80s eclectic New Orleans feel to it. Weird description I know but that's how I see it. There are booths, tables, and what looks like a really cool private room in the back. The service was very friendly and efficient, but it also wasn't busy yet. They have happy hour from 4-8 which was lucky for us. I really enjoyed the Country Bear Lemonade. It was so refreshing. Friend had a margarita which used an agave based tequila giving it a slight vanilla flavor which was pretty tasty. All the food items were great. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries, house cut chips, and the hot dog. Sooo good. And the chips come with a sour cream onion dip which made it extra happy. They also offer a few vegan/vegetarian items. Another friend really enjoyed the vegan tacos. We will definitely return.”
“Our car loving toddler is obsessed with this place. I'm not as into cars as he is, and I still enjoyed my time there. You can actually go into some of the cars, which was awesome! Apparently if you complete a scavenger hunt you'll earn a little toy car too! I think it would have been helpful if the staff working there explained that to us, but they weren't super clear about it. Instead, I found it out through an Instagram post that I happened to stumble upon.”
“OMG!!! My wife and I came here while on vacation and for something to do. We met Steve, a curator and possibly the director. He was marvelous. The Museum was fabulous. Just try it. Not spectacular, but would I bring my mom, brothers, and nieces? Yes, immediately. Try the flight simulator for $8, but it's entirely worth it.My video game adverse wife said, "Let's get this at home." That was enough said!”

“I love this theater. It's always clean and the staff has always been great. The margaritas are really good and well priced. If you spend the extra money to sit in the premium seats with food service the food options are pretty good. Cinemark movie club is worth the price if you go to the movies at least once a month too”
