“My son attended Montessori School of Pleasanton for 2 years from age 2-4. We were extremely lucky to be in Ms.Shailja's Cedar classroom. Ms. Shailja is the most patient, kind and compassionate teacher we could have asked for. In addition to teaching our son important life long learning skills through the Montessori teaching method, she was also invested in him as individual. We saw our son take huge leaps from a social and independence aspect. We were so sad when we moved and had to leave MSP.

In addition to Ms. Shailja, our son was in the care over other incredible teachers over his time there including Ms. Emma , Ms. Neven, Ms. Diana and Ms. Tiajayne. It was clear that these individuals were well train and incredibly suited for this word. So many others contributed to our experience there especially Ms. Joan. She is an incredible communicator which is so important when you child is at school and you need to know whats going on.

In addition to this the school offer multiple after school activities on campus which is great so the kids are exposed to different sports, dancing, art and music without parents having to do more pick ups and drop offs. They also get to do it with their classmate which makes it even more fun.

I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL AND ESPECIALLY THESE INDIVIDUALS ABOVE ENOUGH. Thank you MSP for the memories and for the care of my child as he developed.”

“My child just graduated after nearly three wonderful years at this school. He started at age two, and we’re so grateful for how much he’s grown in confidence, social skills, and independence. The teachers are experienced and truly care, and the variety of in-school enrichment classes like dance, music, and soccer is amazing. Special thanks to Ms. Laura, the director—she knows every child and puts her heart into everything, from daily care to fun events like Mother’s Day, Halloween, and more. We’re sad to leave but so thankful for the journey. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a school that nurtures the whole child.”

“We absolutely love The Child Day Schools. As an anxious mama with just one kiddo, I thought finding the right preschool for him was going to be incredibly difficult. But as soon as I walked in I felt at ease. This was the third place I toured and I instantly knew it was going to be the right fit. Lindsay explained their philosophy which really emphasizes play based learning, (exactly what we were looking for) and just taking to her and watching the teachers interact with the kids I could tell that everyone really cares about these children, that it's not just a job. Their outside areas are big and shady and well equipped and the kids get a ton of time out there which I feel is crucial at this age.
And my kid LOVES IT. He's been there for a little over a year and is excited to go every day. He always tells me how much he loves all the teachers and always wants to make them cards. His social skills have gotten better, he's made a bunch of friends, and he's learned a lot more than I expected at this age. The skills he is gaining impress me daily.
I know some parents like daily updates on their child's progress, and you can get that here, but you have to ask for it. You won't get an email or a long conversation at pick up time everyday. But I just always check in with the teachers a few times a week and they're happy to talk with me or email with me.
I just can't say enough good things about this place.
Being able to leave my child somewhere I feel he is truly safe and cared for is so important.”

“My son has spent the last year at Beth Emek Preschool and it was the best experience I've had with a preschool in Pleasanton. After our preschool closed unexpectedly a month before school, I scrambled to find a new place for my son. We had a failed attempt at another school in town and after speaking with Kathi, we joined the family at Beth Emek.

The teachers at Beth Emek set the tone for learning through curiosity, while being supported by an age appropriate curriculum. All of the teachers have been a part of the Beth Emek team for many years, both as parents and teachers and seem to genuinely love their time there. The children absolutely feel the warmth and joy, but they're also very matter of fact about rules and respect for others. It was a great balance of kindness and firmness for us.

To the comment about phone usage. I find it very odd and potentially out of context based on my experience. During our time at Beth Emek, I did see the occasional phone used. But I saw it to take pictures of the kids, to do a quick Google translate to help a child who didn't speak English or to continue a conversation about a question the children had about whatever it was they were discussing. It was very much an organic part of the learning process and was very rare. Lack of supervision, especially for personal phone use, would have been a red flag for me and I didn't see any of that during our time there.

Lastly, we're not Jewish, nor are we affiliated with the congregation, but I found it to be a wonderful warm environment, eager to share, always willing to answer questions and always respectful of others both culturally and spiritually.”

“My daughter attended this wonderful institution, and I couldn't be more pleased with the education and care she received. One of the standout aspects of Quarry Lane Preschool is the exceptional teaching staff. The teachers here are not just educators but also inspiring mentors for young minds. They have a remarkable ability to engage and encourage children, fostering a love for learning. My daughter was particularly inspired by her teacher, who played a significant role in her educational journey. The STEM curriculum at Quarry Lane Preschool is top-notch. It's structured in a way that not only introduces children to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics but also makes these subjects exciting and accessible. My daughter's interest in STEM subjects has grown significantly during her time here, thanks to the engaging curriculum and hands-on activities.”

“This review over due. My three kiddos attended here. I always trusted the staff with my kids. Thank you to Ms. Teri, Ms. Yolanda, Ms. Esther, Ms. Kendra, Ms. Martha, Ms. Mahek, Ms. Rosie, Ms. Desiree and I may have not gotten all of the teachers that helped with my kiddos teaching and caring. If I ever had an issue or concern the directors or upper management addressed it.”
