“Small, community post office. We've always had great service. Lines can get long around the holidays, like most post office stations, but the team tries their best. We know the work can often be thankless, so kindly ask what you need, but be thoughtful and caring with your local USPS employee.”

“Shai was the one who helped me twice already, twice I was meiling some important mail/package. He was patient, kind, compassionate and extremely helpful. I understand post office many times are slow and inefficient. Shai was not and he really made my post office experience level up 300%!!!!”

“I don't usually call USPS locations stunning, but I've multiple times been pleasantly surprised by how kind, helpful, and patient the staff here is. I've been to many USPS, and had to write many unkind reviews to warn others of what to expect, but here, I can only assure fellow reader that you will be repeated with respect and care no matter your state of hair in disarray and permanent Covid pajama uniform.”

“A much smaller post office with only one worker in the front but you'll get the customer experience that is severely lacking at all the other nearby post offices. The postal worker today was amazing. She was very nice - explained everything with detail and patience when I had questions. This office is a little more out-of-the-way for me, but I'll be using it regularly.”

“Everybody please note that the AC post office opens at 2:30pm (not 2pm) for the afternoon hours, per the sign on the door. Google and every other is wrong when they list 2pm as the re-open time.”

“Thank you, Sonia, for helping me out with passport services! There was a misunderstanding on the scheduled time, but she was able to help me and I'm very grateful for her kindness.”

“I feel lucky to have a post office that’s close by. It’s never too busy and the staff are pretty nice. Sure there could be one grumpy worker every once in awhile but who doesn’t have a bad day. I go often to mail boxes and most of the time it’s a solid experience. I always feel confident my mail and boxes are delivered on time which isn’t the case at some postal offices.”

“My experience was a pleasant one. Customer service rep was knowledgeable and polite. The lines can be long. I'd recommend calling or going online to make an appointment if you want to get in and out fast.”

“Great location with great hours never busy and staff always friendly and welcoming. They will help you with anything and they are opened on Saturday until 2:30pm with a huge lobby plenty of shipping supples and counters to wrap or write something.”

“Passports! I had to get passport renewals for minors, and that can only be done in person. It was impossible to get an appointment anywhere, but they do walk-in passport applications here!!!

Here is what I learned and my pro tips:
-walk-in appointments MWF 9-10am ONLY
-They only take the first 20 people… (I don’t know if that’s actually just the first 20 passport, but I don’t think it’s groups)
-If you’re number 21, you’re gonna have to come back another day
-If you wanna make sure you are in that first 20, you need to get your rear end there *** early*** (the line was about 30 people along by 8:30 AM today)
-don’t think that you can show up at 9 AM and be fine, at least not at this time of year
-Come with everything already completed
-Use black ink only
-Better yet fill out your application online and print it out
-Don’t worry about passport pictures, they take them there and charge $15
-They take check or debit card for passports. No credit cards.
-They’re strict and very busy, so bring your patience, be polite and be humble to their process
-if you are eligible to renew by mail, just do it and save yourself the hassle

The lady that helped me was very down to business, but awesome! I think this post office is great, they’re all nice and helpful.”

“There is one post office in Vallejo that I really like. The service is quick and the staff is friendly and helpful. Occasionally, there are no small envelopes for packages, but it's not a major issue.”

“I have been remiss not writing this review. This is my local PO, and they rock the system with competence and patience! Just the best of USPS. Thank you for your hard work, and helping the public more than we realize.”

“I have never had a bad experience at this location. The clerks have always been friendly and helpful. In fact I applaud them for working in such a challenging environment. Lack of leadership, at the top, (De Joy), covid, lack of employees, and long hours, have made a very difficult working situation for these people. I think them for their perseverance.”

“So I've been having a hard time getting my new passport as I have a special case of providing my citizenship since i'm a derived-citizen. I've been to the Concord Post office about 5 times and none of the staff there were helpful at all! They kept requesting documents that I already had, and said my expired green card was invalid? But doing research I'm actually able to use my card as proof- Now we then went to the post office here in Martinez since it was closer, and the experience was so much different than in Concord. Staff was kind and helpful, they actually knew about my special case and knew the rules, saying indeed my documents were all validated. It was all done in less than 10min. ! The person who helped us was named Reya and she was the absolute sweetest. She pretty much guided us through the entire process, so it was wonderful experience.”
