Good hourly rate, very fair on their parts pricing and very knowledgeable. They gave me two quotes for the water pump replacement I needed, one quote with the cheaper parts and the other quote with the good parts. Quick turn around time. 10/10 would recommend for engine work.”

“On 8/18/24, Big Brand Tire on Main Street in Ventura insisted that I needed to replace my brakes when I went there to get a flat tire fixed. Instead, I went to Bill Clark Auto to have them check the brakes because of their integrity. Bill Clark Auto determined that none of the brakes needed replacement. Furthermore, Joe, the owner, told me that the front tire brake pads had 70% remaining, and the back tire pads had 40% and 35% remaining. Bill Clark did not charge me anything for this and saved me hundreds of dollars.”

The guys are relaxed and ready to help with whatever you need. They install new windshield wipers for free and they do it quickly and even if it's raining. They also know what they have in stock and exactly where to find it in the store. Which is a big help if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. Please get your automotive repair needs from Base auto and keep your local dollars local.”
