“I was in a bind looking for a body shop opened on a Sunday. Scott answered and said he was about to leave and I told him my situation and he said ok I will wait for you. Got there and he was very professional and helped install my liftgate power strut right away. Had to pull down headliner to get to power wire. No problem for Scott. His price was very affordable as well. I definitely recommend Scott and in fact i am taking my other car in this week for him to fix a dented bumper!!”

“This was the third tire shop I went into last weekend when traveling through Ventura. I had a simple problem that needed a simple fix. American Tires and Firestone both told me that my almost new tires could not be saved and I would have to buy all new tires for $1100. I had researched this thoroughly and knew that this was not true. They were actually lying to me and trying to bully me into buying all new tires. Treadmark was different. They fixed the problem in less than 30 min and charged me $74, saving me $1025 over the other stores. Also the shop was cleaner, the staff more polite, and they didn't try to cheat me like the other places. Treadmark is a far better place to get your work done than the others I tried in Ventura. Go there and feel safe. Go elsewhere at your own risk.”

“I'm a long time car guy, and I think of myself as a pretty decent mechanic, so it's kind of weird to me that I have a mechanic to recommend. I started going to Eugene for smog checks, and then started having him do work I didn't want to do, or couldn't figure out. Recently I brought him an intermittant spark problem that I didn't want to get into. It wasn't even setting a check engine light on the dash yet. He did the harder work of diagnosing, and that's what really makes Eugene and Ace Auto different. They're more than code readers with a wrench. And like everyone else says, Eugene is honest, hard working, and happy to explain how and why he does things.”

Toward the end, I decided I didn’t want low profile tires anymore and he sourced me some wheels at a decent price, got me tires at a very fair price, and then even suggested a new battery. “Our Sienna got a flat tire. There was no spare in the Sienna, we had to get a tow to ventura Toyota and was told initially that the tires couldn't be sourced. We bought one OEM tire, with a plan to get all four replaced to the preferred tire. We called a different day to make sure we couldn't get the specific tire sourced and Jason Shaw went above and beyond to find the four tires we wanted, include an alignment and all for a very competitive price. We are very happy with the service we receive at Ventura Toyota, and especially when we have someone like Jason who goes above and beyond to make things happen.”

“My brakes were sounding like Satan himself grinding his teeth so decided it was time to get my Cadillac Escalade in for a brake check. Called and spoke with Tony who's kind and knowledgable who walked me through the findings of the free brake inspection. As anticipated the rear brakes were shot and thankfully I still had a lot of pad left in the front. I brought it in at 2:30p and was home with all the work done by 5pm.
