“This store is awesome and the proceeds go directly to help the animals in need. I’ve shopped here for years and I’m always finding goodies and the manager Val is top notch she is awesome and the nicest person she will go up and beyond to help in any way she could. Your missing out if you don’t stop by there at least once.”

“This is the cleanest, most well organized thrift store. Run only by volunteers, all proceeds go to benefit the children of Ventura County. There are even sections called Gold Coast that more upscale clothing and purses are for sale. Check the website for half off sales!”

“This is a fantastic shop to visit. The store attendees are friendly, the items for sale are fairly priced, my patronage supports a great cause and there's always new stuff to find. Love it!”

“There's plenty of good finds here, and all the money goes to dogs! I love that. You can score some really affordable deals here, and one charismatic employee in particular, who is lots of fun, has a generous spirit. They have a lot of things to part with and are happy to help. The hours are shorter, so you want to get here before they close in the late afternoon. (4pm).”

“Went there because a friend told me they had a Hermes hand bag. Knock off they wanted 399.00 for a knock off... What is their problem, who ever gets to price there stuff needs to do more research. Although rescue mission stands true to the hungry homeless and addicted people of Ventura county. they put all that money right in there programs. God bless their souls”

“Probably one of the most organized thrift stores I’ve been in. They have a large parking lot out back. The prices were good and they have different colors on sale throughout the week.”

“Avenue has been my all time favorite thrift store for many years now, I rarely go anywhere else and I literally have a goodwill on my block. There's simply nothing to complain about honestly. It's some how big and open yet small enough to feel comfortable. It's clean, everything is quality and priced perfectly, and you can find literally anything you need, or didn't know you needed lol Also our Halloween costumes and xmas decorating starts at this store, it's now a tradition my daughter looks forward to every year ?????”

“A place of second chances and hidden treasures. Amidst the neatly arranged racks, one could uncover gems waiting for a new home. It's not just a store but a hub of possibilities, where donations and purchases support a community's well-being.”

“From the nostalgic trinkets to vintage items, there's a variety of selection that'll be sure to grab your attention! Be prepared to stay a while so that you don't miss a thing, which is a ton!! I absolutely love their signage especially the Las Vegas ones. Prices are fair given that these items are no longer in the market. Service was awesome! Charisma was very friendly and attentive, greeting everyone who came entered the store. We will definitely return when we're in the area again!”

“I wanted to check out Main Street since they had closed a lot of the street to traffic. It's really nice to walk there without all the cars and traffic. I was looking for some nice and unique tops. Since I retired about a year ago, I have purchased very few items of clothing. I am really concerned about the impact of the fashion industry on the environment and climate change. So I thought that it would be better to give some clothing a second chance rather than buying brand new ones. The women's clothing was arranged by color and the store was pretty neat and clean. I spent some time going through the racks and most of the women's clothing was gently used or new. I found about five tops that I really liked and they ranged in price from $1.75 to $7. One top was even brand new with the tags still on! Most of the tops fit very well but others were a little big and I'm going to take them in with my sewing machine. I may even change the tops a little bit. I am trying to get back into sewing but I just haven't been able to start making any clothes for myself. However, the most wonderful thing happened after I got these tops: I could see how to change or modify them and I started sewing. It was a miracle! The cashier was very friendly and even complemented the blouse I was wearing. I did notice on the way out they had a chalk board with their special pricing by color. I can't wait to go back!”

“This is a thrift store that looks a bit more like a local boutique store. Items are set out more like a regular store, not crammed in, overstuffed like typical thrift store.Sadly, the store will be closing by the end of the year (2023), so try to make a visit. I think everything will be 50% off till they close.”

“Christina L. And Kristina H. We're incredibly polite and had such positive vibes. These are important to me when shooing and looking for valuables in my neighborhood. Highly recommend.”

“Large selection but you’ll spend some time looking if you really want something specific. Not a lot of sized racks which makes it difficult and time consuming. I did notice the jeans were sized which was so helpful! Prices were great. Definitely a fun place to thrift. No fitting rooms. Plenty of parking.”

“I just moved across country and I’ve been donating left and right at the ventura Goodwill located on Telephone Road. I donated and also purchased a dresser for my son today. I wasn’t prepared to take home the dresser. Aiden and Barrett went above and beyond helping me out with my donation items and then figuring out a way for me to get that dresser home. Thank you so much to the both of you.!”

“Very nice place to visit and find cool gear. Their prices are still decent by comparison. They are more "thrift-shoppy" that "boutiquie"... So they spare you the ridiculous prices other places have. Still, the gear is excellent there.”

“This rating is for drop off process. I came to this after the drop off in Ventura was an awful experience. The employee here actually helped me and was so much more friendly. I’ll be driving to Oxnard to drop off instead the one less than a mile from my house.”

“Camarillo goodwill is clean and stocked - employee taking donations at least night I went by, less than enthusiastic or helpful when I was going to drop off some pretty cool stuff. Instead I took it back to Ventura. Maybe he was having a bad night but he made me feel stupid.”

“They always keep their stock updated and organization is off the charts. Thank you for coming to the east end and proving to all that the goodwill is such a benefit to have here and shop.”

“Everyone is I have had interacted with was extremely kind. The prices are so worth it.Just remember that the employees have to deal with public all day, by hundreds daily.Knowing that, maybe ? give them a smile and appreciate the fact you aren't working there. Not all of them are rude.Besides the concept of the business. So buy, from them. It's a charity. Been around for decades. And please donate.Thank you”
