“My boyfriend introduced me to this thrift store and I absolutely love it here, the only downfall is that it's only open twice a week (Fridays and Saturdays)?. Their items are very neatly displayed and reasonably priced. I've found many cool items here and they have a really nice collection of books too. I'm always a happy ☺️ camper when I leave here. The staff here is great too and they usually greet you when you walk in.”
“A hidden Gem ? Great selection of Pokemon Cards ! They Gave our daughter 20%off on her first booster pack ! Will be returning for more and highly recommend this place for collectors ! Amazing prices”
“Visiting Ventura to see longtime friends and what could be a more perfect day than thrifting. This store was our first choice due to Great selection, cleanliness and the abundant courtesy and friendliness of clerk Jackie. She made me laugh, her humor was infectious and next time I'm back in the area I will be back at SPARC for more goodies and a dose of Jackie's irrepressible humor. Thank you Jackie!”

“Some quality items and fair prices but unfortunately this store suffers from “California work ethic,” which basically means: “we’re open when we’re open and closed when we’re closed and the posted hours are just a wild guess.” Be sure to call before going there.”
“The new manger is so nice I forgot her name but so nice the store looks so much cleaner the guy with the painted nails is gone I'm glad he was so rude acted like it was his store liked to argue with customers not just me glad he's gone welcome new Manager?”
“I like it here. Cat people are different people. I find unique things and have had genuinely good conversations with the ladies here. It's always worth taking a peek. Money goes to a good cause. Cute little shop, large clothes section, good prices. :)”
“I wanted to check out Main Street since they had closed a lot of the street to traffic. It's really nice to walk there without all the cars and traffic. I was looking for some nice and unique tops. Since I retired about a year ago, I have purchased very few items of clothing. I am really concerned about the impact of the fashion industry on the environment and climate change. So I thought that it would be better to give some clothing a second chance rather than buying brand new ones. The women's clothing was arranged by color and the store was pretty neat and clean. I spent some time going through the racks and most of the women's clothing was gently used or new. I found about five tops that I really liked and they ranged in price from $1.75 to $7. One top was even brand new with the tags still on! Most of the tops fit very well but others were a little big and I'm going to take them in with my sewing machine. I may even change the tops a little bit. I am trying to get back into sewing but I just haven't been able to start making any clothes for myself. However, the most wonderful thing happened after I got these tops: I could see how to change or modify them and I started sewing. It was a miracle! The cashier was very friendly and even complemented the blouse I was wearing. I did notice on the way out they had a chalk board with their special pricing by color. I can't wait to go back!”
“Great thrift store with a wide selection of quality second-hand items! This Goodwill location is clean, well organized, and easy to browse. You can find clothes, household items, and unique treasures at very affordable prices.
The staff are friendly and helpful, and the checkout process is quick. I also appreciate how easy and convenient it is to donate here. A perfect place for budget-friendly shopping and supporting a good cause. Highly recommended!”
“Can be hit or miss at this location as far as having good items, and also with the staff. I've had a range from a really awesome experience here with super helpful employees, and then had some not-so-helpful but not rude experiences as well. Just more quiet/ introvert type employees who weren't really helpful when I asked for assistance (like I had 10+ items in my hands that I planned to buy, but couldn't carry them anymore as I wanted to keep shopping, and the person at the counter was annoyed I wanted to have them held. I've also had an employee not put my items in the right place/ or indicate they are being held and all my things I planned to buy were put back while I was trying on other items in the fitting room. Such a drag! ?♀️) I live out of the area but come through here every few weeks and this location has decent enough buyers that I routinely make it a point to stop here. I've gone bananas and found $500+ of worthwhile items, and then sometimes don't find a single thing. I completely understand that that is the nature of this kind of store, however, and it's always fun to look.”
“one of the best goodwills ive been to in socal. super organized, found so many cute things but didnt look through everything bc they have alot of things despite the size.
unfortunately the prices here are honestly ridiculous though. you guys get everything for free, its clear they mark up based on brand. they do not do student discounts most days. they dont do color tags of the week with different discounts. just on the weekends they have some dumb sale lol. but honestly if you want good finds with a bigger budget come here :)”
“One of my favorite places to shop in Ventura. I’m a picker, collector, and online/eBay seller, and I consistently find cool items here at reasonable prices that I can enjoy and/or resell, along with plenty of clothes that I personally wear.
The selection is always solid, and I really appreciate how well everything is organized by size (not all thrift stores do this). It makes shopping so much easier. Great deals, good organization, and a place I truly enjoy coming back to.
Like anywhere, not everything here is a deal right away, and some items can be priced higher at first. I’ve also noticed that when things don’t sell, they get marked down over time, which I really appreciate.
I understand it can be frustrating when something you want is more than you’d like to pay, but that’s true at estate sales, swap meets, auctions—pretty much everywhere. The key is being patient and knowing how to shop.
Overall, they’re an important part of the community, a place that’s been here for years and stayed consistent. It’s always been one of my favorite spots to shop in downtown Ventura.”
“A good spot for home decor and quality gems if you’re willing to dig. This is a true thrift store, not a curated boutique, but it’s well organized, which makes browsing easier. They often keep larger furniture pieces near the front entrance (accessed through the main door), and there’s a high-end designer rack worth checking.
A few things to know before you go: don’t bring large bags or backpacks as you’ll be asked to check them in a locker outside, bring cash to avoid the credit card fee, keep an eye on the savings board, and remember it’s no tag, no sale, so check items before checkout.
It can get busy during peak hours, and parking is street-only on a busy road, so timing matters.
Donations: Drop-offs are at the gate on the right side of the store. They also offer donation pickup.
Hours: 10 am–6 pm
Closed: Sunday & Monday
Solid thrift if you’re looking for decor, furniture, and the occasional great find without the boutique markup.”
