“Excellent business! Great staff! Good cause! This place is pretty well organized and clean for a thrift shop. The building is interesting - perhaps an old theater prior to being a thrift store? Anyhow, the cashiers and staff are very kind and I believe are mostly volunteers. The proceeds mostly go to the Santa Paula Animal rescue. They seem to love pets - sell some pet stuff and they offer dogs small treats if it's ok to do so. The cashier was very sweet and wrapped up my cups very well so they didn't break on my walk! I forgot to take a nice pic inside the store but here's the cups and the bag she packed them in nicely. Thanks!”

“There's plenty of good finds here, and all the money goes to dogs! I love that. You can score some really affordable deals here, and one charismatic employee in particular, who is lots of fun, has a generous spirit. They have a lot of things to part with and are happy to help. The hours are shorter, so you want to get here before they close in the late afternoon. (4pm).”

“Avenue has been my all time favorite thrift store for many years now, I rarely go anywhere else and I literally have a goodwill on my block. There's simply nothing to complain about honestly. It's some how big and open yet small enough to feel comfortable. It's clean, everything is quality and priced perfectly, and you can find literally anything you need, or didn't know you needed lol Also our Halloween costumes and xmas decorating starts at this store, it's now a tradition my daughter looks forward to every year ?????”

“From the nostalgic trinkets to vintage items, there's a variety of selection that'll be sure to grab your attention! Be prepared to stay a while so that you don't miss a thing, which is a ton!! I absolutely love their signage especially the Las Vegas ones. Prices are fair given that these items are no longer in the market. Service was awesome! Charisma was very friendly and attentive, greeting everyone who came entered the store. We will definitely return when we're in the area again!”

“This is a thrift store that looks a bit more like a local boutique store. Items are set out more like a regular store, not crammed in, overstuffed like typical thrift store.Sadly, the store will be closing by the end of the year (2023), so try to make a visit. I think everything will be 50% off till they close.”

“I wanted to check out Main Street since they had closed a lot of the street to traffic. It's really nice to walk there without all the cars and traffic. I was looking for some nice and unique tops. Since I retired about a year ago, I have purchased very few items of clothing. I am really concerned about the impact of the fashion industry on the environment and climate change. So I thought that it would be better to give some clothing a second chance rather than buying brand new ones. The women's clothing was arranged by color and the store was pretty neat and clean. I spent some time going through the racks and most of the women's clothing was gently used or new. I found about five tops that I really liked and they ranged in price from $1.75 to $7. One top was even brand new with the tags still on! Most of the tops fit very well but others were a little big and I'm going to take them in with my sewing machine. I may even change the tops a little bit. I am trying to get back into sewing but I just haven't been able to start making any clothes for myself. However, the most wonderful thing happened after I got these tops: I could see how to change or modify them and I started sewing. It was a miracle! The cashier was very friendly and even complemented the blouse I was wearing. I did notice on the way out they had a chalk board with their special pricing by color. I can't wait to go back!”

“Camarillo goodwill is clean and stocked - employee taking donations at least night I went by, less than enthusiastic or helpful when I was going to drop off some pretty cool stuff. Instead I took it back to Ventura. Maybe he was having a bad night but he made me feel stupid.”

“my faaaaavorite thrift store in ventura. as an avid thrifer, thrifting is always a hit or miss but this place is more of a hit each time I go. you can't beat the pricing on these gems, the store is so clean and organized. you are bound to find something special here. the volunteers have always been kind and welcoming. most of my favorite pieces are from here...I found a brand new canon camera for 30 dollars, retailed for over 100. a pair of brand new red wing boots for 25 and a l.l. bean windbreaker for 7 dollars. my favorite art piece i own was 5 dollars from here! i love love this place. i'm bummed i can't visit more during the week, but it makes it more special!”
