“Wonderful atmosphere for meeting exercise goals. Great variety of exercise classes lead by enthusiastic instructors. Front staff is friendly and accommodating. Trainers are very knowledgeable and willing to assist. Jamar is the center of energy which can be felt upon entering the workout area and is infectious. Fellow exercisers are friendly, egos checked at door. Also to know: there’s enough equipment so that it never really feels crowded.”

“Definitely worth the 30min drive and bridge crossing to get our community cats fixed through the TNR program. 3 of us had individually gone to another local cat clinic in Fremont to use vouchers. But staff was incredibly rude, understandably made mistakes, but was just mean for no reason. There were also a lot of unnecessary rules/requirements that probably deterred people from following through w/surgeries. We are all trying to help and rescue is stressful (I focus on dogs personally). But ease and kindness is what keeps people voluntarily helping these animals. Thank you for offering this AND thank you for just being kind and straightforward!”

“This is one of the greatest community centers in Palo Alto. Everybody is so nice and friendly. Can't wait to go back to pre-Covid19 days where everyday and every week there is an event planned out by this community center. Good old days. Please get the Adas Cafe in the community center more active. We all miss the options of walking out of library or the community center and grab a cold or hot drink with a dessert or a small bite. Thank for your work Mitchell Park Community Center.”

“Believe the hype! I went here based on the great reviews and I had an amazing experience. Stayed for almost two hours and it wasn't nearly enough time to immerse myself as much as I would have. I'm not exactly an art buff, nor a nature buff, but as someone who loves to travel and learn, I found so much to enjoy in this unique artwork. The audio tour accompaniment - especially getting to hear the artist himself navigate you through his work - was a great addition. The museum staff were lovely, as well.”

“The SCCPOA camping / range facility was opened in 1970. All of the property improvements to the facility were made by Law enforcement and community members who volunteer their time every month to keep the facility open, and to make the place what it is today. It’s only a few miles outside the city of Saratoga, yet it offers a quiet secluded place for youth groups to experience camping. One of the hiking trails will take you past some old growth tall majestic redwoods. Numerous scout groups use our facility on an annual basis. Several Cub scouts who went on to become Boy scouts have voluntarily constructed projects at our facility in order to earn their Eagle Scout awards and to give back to the faculty that provided them with a place to earn several of their merit badges. I have talked with one scout leader who camped at our facility when he was a cub scout. He now brings his own son up to our facility, in order for him to experience camping as he did many years ago.”

Learn about migrating birds, native plants, and tides. The dirt trail is flat that runs along the water. Maybe a bit hard for walker or wheelchairs. There are several parking lots with accessible parking by the nature center. The building the nature center is housed in looks like a ship. It was once the home of the Sea Scouts. The nature center has bathrooms. The Palo Alto airport is just over the road. You can watch small planes come and go.”
