“Quaint small shopping mart. Not a lot of variety but I found what I was looking for. I didn’t get ‘warm fuzzies’ but this shop is in an expensive neighborhood (houses are upwards of tens of millions of dollars) which doesn’t typically equate with ‘warm fuzzies’. No one was rude but I was happy to leave. Worth visiting because this type of establishment is getting harder to find.”

“one of the best places for produce on the peninsula. I think Sigona's produce is better, but these guys are second and far surpass safeway. In the summer they usually get tomatoes from webb ranch and they are excellent. The butcher here is great and they are much nicer people than at Schaub's. The deli sandwiches are not consistently excellent, but they are pretty good”

“I used to buy flowers in this store. They always had a lot and nice flowers. But my recent visit was very disappointing, they had only few and very bad flowers. Maybe because of hot weather I don’t know, but I hope it will change ?”

“Literally my happy place. I look forward to shopping here and literally is often the highlight of my day because TJ's has all my favorite things and the employees are the nicest humans. It's easy to park on the street behind the store if you don't want to deal with the parking lot.”

“Real Produce International Market is a great neighborhood store always fresh, always clean, and always welcoming. Their fruits and vegetables taste better than anywhere else, and the prices are fair. The staff are kind, quick to help, and you can feel they care about their customers. I always enjoy shopping here. Highly recommend!”

“I come here from time to time to get some good bbq. The tri-tip and brisket are smoked to perfection. The portions are hefty and can be shared. They have a great wine selection and a large variety of spirits tequila in particular. I highly recommend a visit to this local market.”

“Always an interesting selection and the prices are great.

Updating my review as per Google's algorithm request. Stop by just to see if there's anything interesting today. Walked out with five 90% cacao chocolate bars at about 25 each. The same ones that sell for or $4 at Lucky and Safeway. I really need to come here more often to see what I need instead of going to the major chains”

“I prefer this market. I love the Alexandre brand dairy, variety if chocolates, homemade soups, the butcher shop smiley and helpful, the grocery staff friendly and helpful, and the stuffed salmon today is amazing.”

“TJ's is my convenient weekly go-to spot for all kinds of groceries. So much friendlier and fun than a massive super market.

LOVE their $1 greeting cards, gorgeous fresh plants and flowers, and wonderful produce. Also adore unexpected specialty items like ganache mini sheet cake, herb pizza dough, slice-and-cook polenta, and so much more!”

“Fabulous produce. Much better than what you can get at the farmers market at CSM. They have the midnight watermelons right now...OMG SOOOOOOO GOOD! They are incredibly sweet and juicy, and it's difficult to get a bad one. I'm not sure I ever have before. My folks live them, too. I've seen them at other produce stores and they have been more expensive. I usually buy 2 at a time because I'm afraid they're going to sell out for the season. I also buy yellow nectarine when they are in season. The ones I bought a couple days ago were so favorable and juicy, I almost couldn't handle it. I mean, just feel rich flavor, juicy, not pithy at all. Just superior quality. I don't mind spending more $ for good fruit because a lot of times what you get at the supermarket is crap. They've been picked too early and shipped in trucks that are too cold, and what you end up with is tasteless, poor textured fruit that refuse to fully ripen before it expires. I find that's even the case at the farmers market. Not here though. And even though I don't mind spending more $ for higher quality fruit, here, I don't really have to. The owner is also fun to chat with and is incredibly generous with sample requests. I've never heard him refuse a sample to a customer before. And I take advantage of it because it's reassuring to know what you're getting before you might get all the way home and are disappointed. That kind of customer service is severely lacking at grocery store produce departments.

One last thing... if you are lucky enough to find yourself here during Muskat Grape season...holy sh*t balls...BUY THEM. At least get a sample. They will change your life. Not too many places have them - Piazza's does, but not too many other places - but they are simply incredible. I'm really not a grape person. I never buy any of the regular types, but these are on a while different level than those. They are seriously addictive. I would probably allow myself to get sick eating too many at a time, so I strictly manage the amount I let myself consume in a sitting. Oh they're so good. It's not their season right now but I'm just imagining them and I can almost taste them. Soooo Good!”

“Not as much choices as other huge supermarkets, but I found everything I needed. Fruit & vegetable selection looked really fresh. Friendly staff. Convenient location.”

“An interesting store with products from Poland, Ukraine, Russia and Belarus, possibly other countries. The assortment is quite large. You can find there: various cereals, rolls, teas, coffee, cookies, dried goods, waffles, candies (for Easter there were even Easter cakes), cakes, milk (sour cream, cottage cheese, butter, cheeses and curd cheeses), there are frozen pancakes and dumplings , sausages, fish (mackerel, herring, etc.), caviar (red, black), cooking (salads, soups, borscht) and much more. There is also a department with spices, cosmetics, books (which I really liked, but the prices for books are too high), and a small first aid kit.The store is expensive in terms of price, but overall not bad. The only thing that spoiled the mood was the expired products. Pay attention not only to the date, but also to the condition of the product itself. For example, we came across cottage cheese that can be consumed until September 24, 2024, but it was moldy inside.”

“Very good store that has everything you need, love the customer service there. Always go and had no bad experience ever. I would give higher than 5 stars if I could.”

“Upscale grocery store, with hot take out from the deli, and full meals to take out, mains and sides separate, all kinds of nice things, it's a good looking store, a little crowded for maneuvering but I really like shopping there.”

“Well, I absolutely like shopping at family owned specialty markets.
They are warm, welcoming, helpful, and friendly.
Their deli is exceptional.
Same with produce, and the meat and fish department is outstanding.
It is very well stocked. And all the best bread vendors supply them very well.
I have done a lot of my grocery shopping there Throughout the years .
The parking is free and depending on what time of day it is, you might have to drive around a little bit, but you will find a spot
It’s a super great place to shop!”

“Very busy location. Customers tend to cooperate with each other. Very smooth operation. Do not be turned off by the number of vehicles. Faster turn around than Costco. And, has the convenience store inside which Costco stations lack.”

“Close to home and so much good stuff! The market has a great selection of organic produce, the best bakery, and a wonderful selection of cheeses and dairy products. Also at the plaza a bagel factory run by an experienced and seasoned bagel maker. Get them hot throughout the day. You’ll also find orange Theory for high energy exercise. A famous chef Chinese restaurant, and a nail studio. Shop local!”

“Very good deli sandwiches!! I grew up coming to Roberts market as a kid and it's still the same... they always have made me a great sandwich and the only downfall as you have to take a number sometimes there is a long wait... I highly recommend!!!”

“As someone who lives in the neighboring trailer park, this place is exactly what we needed!! There's no other store close to the parks, or at least within waking distance. They have a huge selection of everyday household items and food. We are a family of 4 and it has been incredibly convenient to run down the street rather than all the way down Woodside road. The prices are a little higher than other places but I'll pay it so I don't have to drive further. The customer service is fantastic too!!”

“This is the coolest and cleanest, well-organized liquor store that I've seen! The drink selection is crazy!! It's like being a kid in a toy store ? Albert asked if I liked beer ? and showed me all the awesome selections of IPAs great dude!! I highly recommend ?”

“08.13.25 2:30pm It's ok. It's a clean, beautiful building in a nice location, but there are much better Grocery Outlets in the Bay Area as this one has limited stock and is too small for being the only one in the area. It's great that Palo Alto has ONE. And Redwood City too. Sadly, Menlo Park, Los Altos, Atherton, Woodside, Portola Valley, none of these areas has a discount grocers, but they should as it would be popular.

Cashiers and staff weren't particularly friendly nor unfriendly, I'd say nonchalant. There was a unisex public bathroom in the left rear upon entry, sort of unclean, but it's there.

I did get the 3ct x 45oz Prego Low Sodium Family Sized Tomato Based Pasta Sauce for $4.99, which even their own cashier was surprised at the good bulk value of it so that was a plus.”

“Abundant with lovely fruits! While Piazza's prices often exceed my budget for similar items found elsewhere, this charming Palo Alto neighborhood grocer offers me a delightful walk, window shopping, tasty sandwiches, and a warm, friendly staff.”

“A quality grocery store.I am concerned though that the building is showing its age. I hope whoever is managing/owns the building isn't just waiting around for the property to be redeveloped into something else. With the CVS being built next door, I sincerely hope we get a next generation Smart & Final coming along for the ride.”

“Very courteous staff, multiple item selections at an affordable cost to balance affordability to purchase in any low end, poverty type community or less valuable living properties”

“Been going here since a little boy on my bike. The new owner improved the quality of the store by a lot. finally takes card payments and the icecream parlor and sandwhich deli is amazing. definitely worth checking out.”

“Need food? Come here. Need a lot of food? You can get that here too. Want to look cool while browsing meat? Oh yes you can do that too.

Edit: It's been two years since I wrote this review and Google asked me to update it the same day they fired 12,000 employees. I can't imagine that's not a coincidence. Nevertheless, Safeway still continues to serve an FDA compliant product at slightly higher than market rate values. If that excites you, then you know what to do.”

“Belmont Fine Wine & Spirits in Belmont, California, is hands down the best liquor store I’ve ever visited. Located at 2035 Ralston Ave, this store offers an expansive selection of wines and rare liquors that cater to both casual shoppers and connoisseurs alike.

The staff here are exceptional, particularly Bobby, who made my shopping experience truly memorable. His extensive knowledge and genuine passion for fine wines and spirits are evident, and his recommendations were spot-on. If I could, I’d give him 20 stars!

The store has undergone a fresh transformation under new ownership, showcasing an updated look and an even more impressive selection. While the specific names of the new owners aren’t publicly disclosed, their commitment to enhancing the customer experience is evident in every aspect of the store. ”
