“This is the place to go if you have an issue with a tire or need new tires. I had a flat tire on Easter Sunday, so Monday I rode my spare looking for some assistance close to home. I first went to brand "F", where the guy told me I'd have to leave the car all day, even as every bay sat empty. Then I went to next closest, Brand "E", where I had bought tires before. Again, told not able to assist. Then I tried Discount Tire, which I rank A+, five star. I was greeted right away, and Matthew was so kind and helpful, immediately taking me in, looking at the tire. He gave me a great estimate on time frame, said no charge for the repair. My car was ready in half the time and I was on my way. Discount Tire has the professionals who care, who know how to deliver great customer service. I thank Matthew and the team, and when it's time to replace my tires, I'll be going to Poway Discount Tire.”

“I was Very sad when I ran into a curb and gashed the heck out of my rim. I didn't think it would be repairable without having to pay alot of money. I did a Google search for a rim repair company and chose AJ's based on the reviews and kept my fingers crossed. I made an appointment and one was available for next day. The communication was great and all through text message. Once they arrived the service was very fast. I also ask if they could fix another spot on another rim which they had no problem with. I was very surprised with the results and couldn't believe the outcome. My rim looked brand new. I would highly recommend their services to anyone with 100% confidence!”

“01/22/24 and 01/29/24. Unfortunately had two punctures within a week of each other, both times necessitating a new pair of tires as they were near end of life anyways.I was in and out in less than an hour each time, no appointment. The folks were fast an courteous, and I appreciate the large window looking into the service bay so you can see exactly what they are doing. Its just a little extra transparency that I like.Won't go to Costco anymore for tires. It takes far too long, and now I have coverage from DT for my full set.”

“These guys were great. MINI dealership recommended them to me. Luis gave me an estimate back in August for damage to the passenger side including replacing the door handle and I was a bit shocked at the $1500 price tag. But I finally bit the bullet and dropped off the car this last Monday. He said it should be ready by Friday. As we were leaving, he ran up to us and pointed out that we had a big scratch on the drivers side -- looked like it had been keyed. I'm not really surprised that I hadn't noticed because the car was very dirty and I'm not really obsessed with my car's appearance. It had probably happened over the weekend while out and about. Anyway, I was already there and prepared to spend some money, so I asked him how much more it would be to fix that side. He implied that it might be as much as the passenger side, minus the cost of the door handle replacement. I just decided to suck it up and get it done, the car is only 3 years old and I want it to retain as much value as possible. I didn't even ask for a formal quote or whether it would extend the time to complete the repairs. Thursday afternoon, I texted Luis to ask if he thought it would be ready on Friday. He said it should be by 3pm. Had to return my rental car around 1:30pm, so I did that, then called and asked if they were still on target for 3pm, as I would find something to do nearby for an hour or two if so. He said it was ready, just being washed. So I walked from the rental car place to the shop, and it was there and ready for me. Biggest shock was when the guy (not Luis, didn't get his name) handed me the bill, it was only $300 more than the original estimate. So $1000 less than I was expecting. How often does something like that happen? They did a great job with the color match, my MINI is a cerulean blue that I constantly get compliments on, but I have never been able to get a touch-up kit from the dealer for minor scratches. Highly recommended!”

“Ryan and his crew did it again perfect service installation of carbon fiber but guess what for free. I had to do some thing i tipped the installer and bought them a few boxes of pizza. I consider Ryan truly a friend. Generally it's a 300 dollar installation but Ryan didn't charge me.”

The entire process went very smoothly and once my tires came in. I was in and out in under 1 hr. I did show up at opening and about 5th in line. Tires feel great and wheels were taken care of. “Had my F150 serviced at a local Ford dealership and they snapped a lug nut in half on my front driver side wheel while rotating my tires. Dealership told me they could not remove the remaining part of the lug nut and I would have to take it somewhere else. Took my F150 to Discount Tire in Santee and they were cautiously optimistic they could remove it. After several attempts by a couple of techs, (and destroying their lug nut key) they were able to remove the remaining part of the lug nut. They put on the new set of lug nuts I purchased and all was good. There is no quit in this team. Excellent team and service!”

“I took my 2014 Acura to the dealership when some of the alerts were popping up. They said that the alerts were caused by a tire monitor that needed to be replaced, and that it would cost over $400. When inspecting, they also said I needed new front brakes which they quoted close to $600. I couldn't help but feel like I was getting ripped off, so I decided to get a 2nd quote.
