I've been the go-to guy for ALL our family vehicle maintenance and repairs for many years. Numbering about 10 vehicles.I have been using the Poway Oil Changers location for many years, even before the current manager Kelley was a green behind the ears newbie.They have always and consistently offered the best service and advice, and I wouldn't and still don't use anyone else.Since they don't do repairs there, you never have to worry about being upsold for anything. They will and have always reported anything out of the ordinary that may need attention or repairs, and suggest seeing your own mechanic if they notice something needing attention.Also I highly recommend their engine service treatment for any vehicle that is coming up for smog. As long as your check engine light is not on, you'll likely pass smog inspection with flying colors.About a month prior to EVERY family car smog injection, I take it in. I have oil, air filter(s) and engine cleaning service done.So far, never failed a smog test as a result.Can't recommend Kelley and his team highly enough.”

“I called 5 different shops before I found a place that would even look at my 2013 Fiat 500 when it stalled out. I was able to bring in my car immediately and they had a diagnosis and repair done within 2 hours. Apparently when my battery recently died and was replaced it jacked up the car computer to the point where it was shuddering and stalling. The guys at Cars Automotive got everything reset and running smoothly for $67.50! Will definitely be my default repair shop from now on!”

“Came here yesterday with an issue with my gas pedal which scarily became unoperable while driving. I am very lucky I wasn't in a car accident. I had my truck towed to this shop, which was recommended to me by "Good Sam Roadside Assistance" which is the same type of company like AAA and Eric and the rest of the mechanics were fantastic! They were able to fix my gas pedal better than the factory even. I had a very rare issue with the factory welds failing. Causing the plate that the gas pedal bracket mounts to; to sway back and forth and not work when applying pressure to the pedal. These guys were creative and fixed this very bizarre problem. I also noticed a new sound that I didn't have before and I took it back in to the shop the very next day and they quickly were very helpful in helping me find out where this annoying rattling noise was coming from. They even had me ride in the truck with one of the head mechanics to make sure I was satisfied with my truck. Ended up being just a simple rusty bolt that attaches to the front bumper. These guys are extremely honest and trustworthy and super cool, down to earth guys who are easy to talk to. If you are looking for a good, honest mechanic who is reasonable in this side of town, THIS IS the one.”

“Went in because my cars check engine light turned on, and my boyfriend recommended this place because of the great service he received in the past. They were booked for today but Jim offered to still take a quick look at my car to see what's going on. Turns out I had a catalytic converter issue but he said because my car was pretty new that it could be covered under warranty if I took it into the dealership. This place was honest and it's so difficult to find an honest mechanic place. I am going to only visit this place for all my car needs because of the great service and honesty. “Located on 13933 Poway Rd Poway, CA 92064 United States They are open Monday to Friday from 0800-1700 (8am to 5pm) The crew greeted me with genuine smile and asked how my day was going. They are a fun crew, very open and welcoming. I got my brakes, rotors and brakes flushed within the hour. I usually take it to Nissan dealership but they were going to charge me $450 before taxes to do my front brakes (brakes and rotors). I got charged $300 from Poway Muffler and brake auto shop. They were efficient, quick and communicated with me of what was recommended and showed me what was wrong with my parts. Steve worked on my car. He took care of me and my car, made sure the parts were installed correctly. The shop has a waiting area and gender neutral bathroom for use. They have water dispenser as well. Jack is a honest manager. You can get quotes anywhere and he will give you a quote from his shop, his shop will most likely be cheaper than other shops around. There are tons of auto shops around here to choose from but this place fits my budget and they don't fool around with your time, money or safety. They do much more than just brakes. The staff have many years of experience under their belt. Honest work from the crew. I love it! I will be returning next month to fix my other issues. Keep up the good work PMB crew!”

However, when I run into things that I’ve never dealt with, or can’t fix in my own, I take it here.Eli and his team are the among the best mechanics I’ve dealt with. Honest and upfront about what needs immediate attention versus what can be put off for a bit. For example, one issue with my Honda caused an oil leak into the engine. It would have cost me thousands to fix (and I was willing to pay it), but Eli mentioned that it was a common issue with Hondas, and that Honda provided an extended warranty for it. In comparison, the Honda service rep tried to blame me for the issue, and I had to verify with corporate that it was a covered issue.I have recommended Poway Import Auto Experts to friends and family, and wouldn’t hesitate to return for future service work.”

“Wow, probably the nicest and most honest mechanic I've ever experienced. I happened to come across the place simply because my car was having issues nearby. I called and Fred told me exactly what to do before I even got to the shop. I arrived at the shop and Fred immediately helped, gave me coolant and oil without even charging me, I gave him 20$ anyway. He even told me the other issues I'd need to fix with my car if I came in for a full tune up. Other car shops charge you 200$ just to tell you what's wrong. I even called Fred the next day when I was continuing to have a certain issue and he helped me out. Will DEFINITELY be coming back for a full service and all my future work! And telling all my friends about Fred and Antonio's shop!”
