“Adam the Wild Turkey was a great Ambassador! "Frick and Frack", the Guinea Hens were a delightful Nature's comedy team, ala Abbott and Costello with the Alice-in-Wonderland White Rabbit's frantic running around, mixed into the personalities. A wonderful sanctuary, all cared for with love by steward Illana and her watchful guard dogs. I strongly suggest, heading out to this divine sanctuary for a full day of communing with nature and God's creatures. Indeed, 2 The Rescue Animal Sanctuary is life changing in how you view all of God's creatures--from tortoises, to pigs, to chickens to massive long horned bulls. This peerless animal rescue is truly one of San Diego County's greatest attractions and is worth leaving generous tips to support the feeding of and loving care these animals receive!!!”

“This foundation/rescue is really special. My daughter and I began volunteering here a couple of months ago and have been blown away by the facility, the staff, the other volunteers, as well as all their programs. They work to rescue senior pets (dogs and cats over the age of 7) from shelters all over SoCal and place them in homes. When you adopt from FFF, all vet care is covered for the rest of that animal's life (assuming you can make the drive to Ramona). There are multiple programs for getting to know the animals - a morning group hike (for dogs), Open House on the weekends, a day-long outing (for dogs, maybe to PetsMart, a nearby winery, or local dog-friendly restaurant), a 2-week foster (called a "Fling"), Freedom Rides (picking dogs up from shelters and bringing them to FFF), and of course, fostering until adoption (either by younor someone else). They will board senior dogs whose owners lose housing or experience a medical emergency, until they can return home. The website lists other programs...there are so many!FFF works really hard to get as much info as possible on the website and on social media so folks get an idea of what each animal is like. If you're considering adding a furry family member, there really is no downside to adopting a senior, and there's no better place to do it than from Frosted Faces”

“The staff were amazing. My husband need a walking frame and they gave/loaned us one. They said to keep it as long as we needed it and if it broke to go back and get Another. They also suggested a shower chair. My husband is very proud and being a little “difficult” and said no, then as soon as we got into the car he wanted one, so I’ll go back and I’m sure they’ll be just as wonderful!”

“Michelle was amazing throughout our entire experience of fostering and adopting our sweet Sadie! I can’t say enough good things about this rescue and how much they care. So many amazing dogs wouldn’t be here today without The Rescued Pup’s tireless efforts to save the dogs that others have given up on. ?”

There’s always something nice to choose from and interesting displays no matter the season. It’s so nice to have such a clean and neat thrift store so close!”
