“The store wasn't as organized as it probably should've been but it was close to closing time. I do have to rave about a young man that works there though...I wish I would've gotten his name but he was absolutely amazing. I (embarrassingly) had to use a couple of different payments for my purchase and I also had changed my mind on amounts a couple of times (I swear I'm not one of those customers ??). But the entire time, he stayed calm and polite..very patient with me, and was even smiling & talking to me throughout the transaction. That young man is going to go far in life...”
“This place is great.
I was told by a social worker about this place it helped that had no clothes because of neglect, abuse and more he suffered by the hands of his relative that was his IHSS worker and others that knew and didn't help him, save him or report to law enforcement.
Staff was so kind to my brother when they saw him.
I recommend going there if you need to buy clothes for someone that has nothing to give them a new start.
Thank you everyone.”
“Desert industries is pretty big store. You can spend a few hours in there. Have shopping carts. Lots of parking air condition furniture today. I went over there on July 2nd and I got me some really nice Christmas decorations. I know it's early but they were very nice. Very expensive looking but they got some pretty nice things in there. Very good service”
“The staff is always friendly and efficient. There are good quality collectable dishes and ornaments and other good stuff is often found and their prices are low.
I dropped an earing today and called them to see if it was there, the person who answered the call was so caring, she looked around but although unfortunatelly it was not found yet her attitude was A++”

“This is one of the absolute best thrift stores in Sacramento. As soon as you walk in the staff greets you with warmth and kindness. I have gotten so many great finds at this location.
Their presentation is one of my favorite parts. Everything is well organized and easy to navigate. They have quality unique items. The prices are reasonable and they offer many specials.
Today I visited with my bestie and we were showered with great service from Louie, Lynn, Zola and one more gentleman who made sure we got a cart.”
“This is one of our favorite thrift stores they constantly adding new items all of the time, good quality items at very reasonable prices clean and very well organized good job to there staff.”
“I've lived here for two years and JUST took my first excursion here. It's absolutely amazing. Almost like a condensed version of the antique mall (like really condensed) but full of great things for people who hate to shop from Target or Home Goods. 10/10 would go again.”
“I like to shop and donate here knowing it is for a good cause. I like how they do the pricing. If item was just received, it is full price, then goes lower and lower till it
finds its new owner. :). Always enjoyable experience.”
“I walked into the Dollar Tree in Citrus Heights planning to buy just a pack of napkins. Ten minutes later I was holding a basket with snacks, cleaning supplies, and a few things that looked too useful to ignore. Somehow that store makes browsing entertaining. The cashier was friendly and checkout was quick.”
“This Thrift Store is also the best place ever along with Placerville and Cameron Park as well too Snowline is a fun thrift store Placerville Cameron Park and Folsom”
“This is a small, church-run thrift shop operated by volunteers, and it exists to support local outreach and community programs, not profit. The people here are kind, welcoming, and doing their best with limited resources.
Like many small thrift stores, they sometimes work with regular buyers to help move inventory quickly so they can keep serving the community. That doesn’t take away from others, there are always treasures if you take the time to browse.
I’ve personally had only positive experiences here. Sometimes online reviews don’t reflect the heart of a place. If you’re looking to support a local cause and shop with purpose, this is worth the visit.”
“Loved this place! I randomly saw a sign on my way to ANOTHER thrift store and decided to stop. Bought a beautiful brown REAL leather bag for an amazing price. The proceeds also go to outreach programs from women, youth and elderly. The ladies working there are also so sweet! Would definitely recommend! :)”
“This place is the best $.99 50% off of 25% off deals overall this is the best they don’t overpriced like Goodwill stores. I always find treasures at the store.”
“The help in this economy five stars... being treated like trash by the workers not so far star. It's already embarrassing to be here . ... can we not be so rude?”
“Pros: Well organized, easy to find type and size of clothes I was looking for. Pricing seemed fair but I didn’t look at a lot of items. There is a fitting room.
Cons: No kids clothes, and selection of adult clothes and shoes wasn’t large enough to bring me back soon.”

“Very quaint shop with a nice variety of high and low end items for most every budget. Some items are priced as high of higher than retail, but all in all, they have nice furniture and things for nearly any taste. Enjoy seeing the nice variety.”
“An organized and clean place. Their prices are reasonable for used and new items. The toilet is not available for customers to use.
I recommend this place for customers once or twice a month”
“I went there today 11/7/2025

“If you're looking for thrift shop bargains or wanting to donate; then check out the Goodwill in Folsom, CA, on Plaza Drive. The shop inventory includes books, housewares, home decor, shoes and clothes (men's, women, and children). It has a good size quantity of inventory. The store is kept tidy, and the items are organized and clean. No dirty, damaged items.
I like to browse the housewares and home decor to look for up-cycling projects. When they do get in full pattern dish serving sets; they bundle them up and price by item type. So they bundle the dinner plates, bowls, etc, and price those bundles. The pricing seems fair based on brand and quality. Next housewares is the book aisle. The book selection is impressive but would help with better signage on genre.
They have shopping carts but some aisles, particularly the clothes racks, are narrow and accommodate one cart at a time and some coordinated efforts from other customers to maneuver about. The women's clothes are in good condition. On my last recent shopping trip, I spotted several size 6 Banana Republic jeans priced at $12.99. Current styles, great condition. Thrift shopping takes patience and calm to find the bargains and your future treasures.
The donation drop off is open during shop hours. It's located in the back of the store. It's a car drive up drop off. So pack patience as well, as you wait your turn. Before you pack your car with donations, I recommend reading the website regarding what items they accept and more importantly don't accept. Plus no dumping after hours. They have security cameras.”
“I didn’t find what I needed, but I was greeted by friendly staff at the front counter, and received the same warm friendly wishes of a great weekend as I left! Great staff!”

“Priest, one of the managers (yes like a holy man ) was nothing short of his name. You can tell he cares about the staff and the store itself. I’d definitely recommend this store aside from the last positive experience I had. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Also very organized for being as busy as they are .”
“I am an avid thrifting and go to all different kinds small and big ones (goodwill) the prices here compared to the big thrifts were amazing! I got a shirt for $1 and mens dress up shirts for $3. They have a lot of deals I got 4 items for under $10! Thats a deal to me! I liked the selection they had and will be coming back again. Its my new fav spot.”

“Just visited this store and am excited each time going in to see the escape designs the beautiful color matching really makes me smile. Derek is doing a great job!!!!”
“Friendly staff and lots of deals for example when I went in it was 25 percent off mens clothes that day then it was double punch day on a punch card then I got to spin the wheel and won a free drink at the Carl's Jr right next door. Yea things are a little pricey but you can still find deals if you know what your looking for. 4 out 5 stars would have been 5 if the prices were slightly lower.”
“Recently they re organized the store from inside , way more stuff and neat. The selection is large here, it is way more organized than previous times I've come. Restrooms for customers only, from what employee mentioned. The parking area is large, not hard finding a spot. Heads up there is homeless loitering in the College Square plaza. They tend to hang out in front of store. Otherwise great prices and finds.”

“Great place to find items at prices you will never find anywhere else. Customer assistance and satisfaction are not on every employee's list but it is all about the customer. Now that they play classic rock instead of that horrible rap, shopping has been made soothing. But whatever you buy, "shopper beware" most items are donated.”

“I am going to share my unbiased opinion of this goodwill as I am a regular and come usually twice a week.
There will be times where something has been broken, spilled, or dirty, it is suggested to wear gloves when digging through the bins. Always wash your hands after digging through as you dont know where stuff has been. The clothes are usually not as dirty as the assorted toys/knick-knacks. Usually things aren't super bad though.
The staff have been very friendly to me when I've interacted with them. As long as you A) dont get in the way of the bins when they're swapped out, B) you dont let your children run around too far away from you, C) you don't dig through the beens when they are putting new ones in. Sometimes they will even weigh my clothes with my other things which makes it cheaper! Books/DVDs/Vinyls are all 25 cents.
This place is always crowded and usually all of the shopping carts are taken. I usually just use a bag to put stuff in as getting a cart is nearly impossible. When bins are swapped and newly replaced people tend to swarm around, if you want to find good things you'll probably have to get used to that chaos. However, some good stuff is still left over after the swarm of people. Shoes and clothes are usually more crowded, especially new shoes. If youre looking for a laid back calm environment, this may not be the place for you.
Things are pretty cheap as its weighed by the pound although they've been slowly raising their prices. But usually I can get a full bag of stuff for like 7 dollars. I do stay longer though around 2-3 hours for bin rotations. People have complained about a group of guys who always come here and scalp all the good stuff to resell, im talking like 20 guys so, which kind of sucks but thats kind of the nature of this place. I see it as competitive thrifting, be quick and scout out or leave empty handed.
Thats my feedback, overall I like the place but you have to enter the place with a certain mindset and not expect to find anything in particular. You can literally find anything here, even stuff you probably dont want to find or touch lol. Just have fun and maybe find something cool for cheap.”
“Overall a great experience at this store. They have a wide selection of furniture, clothes, and other knick-knacks. My boyfriend and I came in 15 minutes before they closed just to quickly browse before going to an event at the volleyball club next door, and the staff were so friendly. They showed us dressers we might like based off what we told them, and they even offered to include a mirror that was not originally included to the dresser we picked at no extra charge. Because they were so friendly, my boyfriend and I ended up coming back and buying a few more pieces from them. They helped us load all of the furniture and even lent us a blanket to keep the glass from scratching. They were very friendly and helpful, and their prices were affordable. We will definitely come back to them the next time we need to buy furniture!”
