“I stopped in to Zen Aquatics because I am curious about installing a koi pond in the backyard but have zero experience with fish. I was impressed by the water world inside this store with a truly magnificent tank by the register that had the coolest stingray swimming around. I was told that the owner, JP, has extensive knowledge about everything koi ponds and is a wonderful resource for advising on the installation and required equipment. I wasn't sure that koi would live in this hot desert environment but apparently they do just fine! Zen had a great selection of koi fish in multiple sizes and all the accoutrements to go with them. If I go through with the project I will definitely hit JP up!”

“Please understand I am doing this review as someone who is a customer service manager at a resort. Reubens service is nothing short of EXCELLENT. I have a minature schnauzer and shes a bit of a diva, Ruben is the only groomer to never have issues and has her looking spectacular. I just rescued another schnauzer out of a bad situation and Reuben was able to get him in last minute. Also did an amazing job as the previous owner left the dog in bad shape, hes now quite a little handsome fellow. You would be doing a disservice to your pets not taking them to Reuben. I cannot say enough good things.”

This adorable little shop is PACKED with the cutest wiener dog–themed everything — from apparel and accessories to Palm Springs–themed goodies, Halloween movie merch, and more. Honestly, if you can dream it, they probably have a dachshund version of it. Heads up, though: it’s a little tricky to find. Bean Goods is inside “The Flannery Exchange,” tucked inside a building that also houses a coffee shop and plant store. I’ll be posting photos of the outside and the entrance path to help others out — don’t be afraid to ask someone if you’re not sure where to go. Everyone in the area is super friendly and helpful. Once you’re inside, it’s dachshund heaven. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or the doxie lover in your life, you’ll want everything in sight. Such a fun, creative, and unique little gem — I’m so glad I found it!”

Very short staffed with 7 people waiting for one cashier although there were at least 4 other employees on the floor. After about 10 minutes, another cashier showed up. Of course I was the last person in line so the cashier was happy to get the crickets I needed.”
