“The team at the La Quinta Avenida Bermudas office is wonderful. I like going to this location because it typically is not as busy as the other LQ location on Corporate Dr so I can get in and out quicker. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. It can be a tough job and I think a lot of people are not patient with post office staff in general. I hope this location never closes and the staff is paid fairly.”
“My daughter and I have been trying to get our passports for a few months now. We went twice to the La Quinta post office and each time our experience was terrible. Each time I left feeling frustrated and defeated. We heard so many good things about the Thousand Palms post office and decided to try it. Patty and Rafael were amazing. They were so kind and welcoming and went above and beyond to help us. They are the kindest people and I’m so glad they made us feel comfortable and helped us get our passports. Thank you Patty and Rafael. We need more people like you in the world ☺”
“I feel like all these 1 star reviews carry a heavy air of entitlement about the hours and what is expected of the staff and that's not fair so I'm giving them a full 5 stars for every great experience I've had while visiting this place. The staff is always helpful, it's at a great location, and the hours are reasonable, and might I add, listed just like anywhere else.”

“We use this post office location frequently for mailing packages.
They are open “regular” hours and it’s not as busy as the main post office location, so I often don’t have to wait in line.
They have packaging materials available, and all of the boxes and other envelopes and packaging that you will need for priority mail items.
You can get money orders here and buy stamps here, also.
Service is usually friendly and helpful.”
“I use the PO box service and sometimes access shipping services at the counter. A note on posted business hours: ARRIVE EARLY! The barrier that closes the counter area will be closed promptly at the end of counter hours, sometimes a few minutes early. Pleading for leniency is futile. Also, I have more than once arrived at 6:55, key in hand, planning to empty my PO box, only to find the doors locked and lights off, despite the posted hours indicating the self-serve area is open until 7:00 p.m. While the personnel is friendly and helpful, and service is generally good, lines at the counter can grow long as the service is sometimes slow. It is not uncommon for there to be only one employee at the counter, even during busy times. I have also seen customers at the pick-up door ringing the bell repeatedly to no avail. My impression is that the staff does the best it can, but the location is understaffed.”
