“Just wanted to say that dealing with Golden Cove has been extremely satisfactory from day 1. I live in north Orange County and was a previous customer of a local pharmacy who went out of business. Their business somehow ended up with Golden Cove. I was skeptical with them being so far away, but from ordering to delivery, their service is swift. I have never had one problem with them. At 60+years old, I can say they know how customer service should be. A++++”

“I like a lot of things about this supermarket.Most of the staff are nice. I like the Murray's cheese dept (now owned by Kroger?) Good parking situation. It's great to have this supermarket oasis on the peninsula.The loss of one star is that they sell The Epoch Times. That's not a fair newspaper and should not be sold next to the Los Angeles Times. While Conservatives and Liberals should all be less antagonistic towards each other and be free to think what they want... having this newspaper in the store is like selling MAGA hats at the check stands. Feel free to wear a MAGA hat but if you push them on me while shopping, I will shop elsewhere. And if I continue to see the Epoch Times being sold alongside real newspapers, I will shop elsewhere. “I needed some antibiotics delivered to my father ASAP because Kaiser pharmacy couldn't deliver them for another few days. Luckily I found this place on Yelp. It has many good reviews so I decided to try my luck. And in this case the reviews were all true. Payam was so helpful transferring the medications from another pharmacy and his staff was able to deliver the medications within an hour! We even called after hours to check the status of the delivery just to make sure, not expecting anyone to pick up the phone after 6pm. But Payam answered the phone and told us that the meds were delivered. I was very happy with how efficient the pharmacy was. But most importantly, I was impressed with how nice and patient Payam is. Like others say, he does care about his customers and his business. Even though we had to pay out of pocket for the drugs (they don't take Kaiser insurance obviously), it was money worth spent. I highly recommend this pharmacy!”

“We tried a mail prescription service and chain pharmacies and no one comes close to Carson Pharmacy. As a caregiver to a parent, this has taken one huge load off of my shoulders. Personalized care that's almost unheard of in most businesses today. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, no lost faxed prescriptions, new refills done quickly, free delivery when I can't make it in for a pickup. A very special thank you to Mary. “I was at this place trying to find a walking cane because of the long time injury on my left knee! I could hardly walk because it is so painful. Janet was the person that helped me. She was very courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. She basically asked me some questions and tried to find out why I need a walking cane? She showed me quite a few canes but I didn't like them because I worried about if I tripped the bottom of the cane; that might just be worse. She suggested that I need to treat the pain in my knee and showed me a few knee sleeves. She even tried to put one on for me and asked me to walk a few steps and see how I felt. I was surprised that it made my leg felt more stable and could walk a little better. It's less painful by wearing that knee sleeve. Thank you so much, Janet! I appreciate it very much. I will wear it until I can find a good orthopedic surgeon to operate on my torn knee!”

“this is a wonderful local drug store that will transport you back to the 80s/90s. They sell get well soon cards, gifts (tea cups, tea sets, incense, candles, plush animals) along with laundry stuff, sewing materials, school supplies, and even puzzles and 90s toys for the kids. You can also pay bills here and it counts as a pick up point for UPS delivery (this helped me significantly during early pandemic when i needed my packages with less people). Also they were one of the few pharmacies that had covid tests available when i had a covid scare in 2022. I mainly go here when I need medicine. The doctors will send the prescriptions to the pharmacist and its ready by the time I arrive. I think the longest I had to wait was 15 minutes. There is also a pharmacist there ready to answer any questions or concerns I have. and today I came to pick up some medicine. It was an easy breezy shopping experience. I highly recommend it. and there is a bakery next door so while you wait you can go get a donut or cupcake and come back and eat that with your medication :)”

“Parking is sometimes difficult . Handicapped parking is in the front. From the back parking lot there is no ramp to the back door, only stairs down to lobby. Many just park along the sidewalk in the front as the pharmacy is just inside the main doors on the 1st floor.”

“I was born in the South bay frequenting our lovely beaches and never knew this place was here but I am certainly glad I found out. I highly recommend Pill Box for Human and pet meds! I was getting my prescriptions at Rite aid and was happy for years until last week when I decided I needed a change. This desire prompted a cascade of disasters and repeated transfers of scripts involving Pavilions in Rolling Hills and the worst/most incompetent/rude Pharmacy EVER Alberston's on 25th in San Pedro and finally to Pill Box. No one seemed to have my common meds and no one was admitting the truth that they did not have them and were back ordered. I was running out and needed a refill. I was told they were ready and driving all over town in the worst rainstorm in Cali hx trying to get them and on arrival found they were not filled but other scripts I never needed or asked for were filled. What's with that? In desperation, I called Pavilions again and asked for clarity on the stocking situation and who they thought had the meds and they recommended Pill box. Thanks Pavilions-good job. I had them transfer the meds to Pill box and they were ready that day plus there were several phone conversations to get it all right. Which I actually liked as the store apps on both Rite aid and Albertsons/Vons are poorly done, error prone, and confusing. The customer service at pill box was impeccable AND they knew their stuff. At Pill box: I spoke to a human that assured me they where ready. I spoke to a human that ran my insurance over the phone rather than a stupid website or app that won't take it or makes me put it in 50 times. I spoke to a human rather than get inaccurate texts saying meds were filled when they were not. It was cool. Pill box is easy to find one block off of PCH on a corner across from a Bev Mo. Easy parking in back and on the streets right in front. Tons of other shops in the area so you can fit a visit in with your regular routine. Rather than trust your family's health to giant chain where so much can go wrong trust these guys. Looks like they focus on one thing and they do it right. I am especially excited to learn they do pet medicine too. It is worth the drive to me.”

“Vons Pharmacy team is amazing! This is my grandma's go-to pharmacy and they always take great care of her. When visiting recently, I had a prescription emergency fill need and was only in town for only 48 hours. But they were able to work with me/my hometown pharmacy to get me everything I needed before I left town again. So thankful for their hard work considering this was my emergency and not theirs. “This pharmacy is locally owned. The store is clean an inviting. Uyen and Maria, and the rest of staff are friendly and helpful. Although the pharmacy is smaller than the major pharmacies (CVS, WALGREENS), Southwood Pharmacy is efficient. They are very experienced and on top of your medical needs. Uyen is awesome. She not only makes you feel welcome, she is accurate, organized, and listens to your needs. I see her as a good friend. I would highly recommend Southwest Pharmacy.”

“A very good pharmacy with personal attention and care! I have finally left the nightmare of CVS pharmacy! And I am happy to pay $10-$15 more for my prescription to not have to deal with the catastrophic management of CVS Pharmacy's. They don't care, but why should they, it's not their business it's just a 9 to 5 job! They just want to punch the clock and go home.... Vm pharmacy which I had previously left because I had to pay a bit more, turns out to be a much much better pharmacy and more than worth the extra cost! This pharmacy is worth going to because they know you and actually care about your medication. and making sure you have it! They don't run out of stock.... And if they do, which is very rare, they will have it in 24 hours and deliver it to you! Don't make the mistake of going to a pharmacy that is a big corporation! They don't care because they have 100 more people behind you. That will take your place!! this pharmacy might be a bit more if you don't have good insurance, but it is more than worth it! thank you”

Active Care Pharmacy is privately owned by Sara, a remarkable & genuine woman. Her knowledge surpasses everyone in her field. And she takes care of me like I am a beloved family member. I never have to wait in line and a plus is that I don't have to deal with big pharma any longer. Other pharmacies have stopped carrying some of the medications that I need but Sara always gets them for me. Also, she calls my doctor on my behalf if she knows of a more efficient medication other than what they prescribed ... amazing! She has helped me feel better and has actually improved my health. Her generosity extends to the community... she paid for and donated over $60,000 of Covid 19 vaccines. Who else would do that? I will be a loyal customer for life.”

“Lately, I was having to go to multiple pharmacies to get my medication's. After going for more than a week without my medication, three different local pharmacies in San Pedro did not have the medication in stock there's a national shortage this pharmacy has been able to not only fill my prescriptions, but also has great customer service and knowledgeable pharmacists, who have explained meds and even asked me about possible different interactions. I have one medication that I'm taking temporarily, where you cannot eat certain things it will have a bad reaction. I was so happy she told me to wait a day because I had actually eaten some of the foods that cause stomach upset with that medication five star customer service and five stars for having items in stock. It says compounding I think they make medication there. They also do many other services that are listed when you enter the property, it's located inside a medical building parking is super convenient. It's worth the drive to get all my medication at one place instead of driving to multiple pharmacies also, they have some very cool hospital. Type gift shop stuff. I bought a cute Kitty cat that looks like the one we have at home.”

“Not sure why retail and all these types of places get such low ratings But honestly I like Sam's a lot Is it Costco? Yeah it's very much the same in many ways but in other ways it's not like some foods are diff and some things are same but it's a solid place The only downside is that the food court here should be moved away from checkout it's too close and it gets congested and there aren't that many lines open because they have alot more self check out and honestly I'm not going there or any store to check myself out. I'll do it for a nice associate discount lol Ps... didn't take photos I guess I don't think about it when shopping for groceries lol plus when they are taking hundreds of your dollars you tend to blank out lol”
