“I like a lot of things about this supermarket.Most of the staff are nice. I like the Murray's cheese dept (now owned by Kroger?) Good parking situation. It's great to have this supermarket oasis on the peninsula.The loss of one star is that they sell The Epoch Times. That's not a fair newspaper and should not be sold next to the Los Angeles Times. While Conservatives and Liberals should all be less antagonistic towards each other and be free to think what they want... having this newspaper in the store is like selling MAGA hats at the check stands. Feel free to wear a MAGA hat but if you push them on me while shopping, I will shop elsewhere. And if I continue to see the Epoch Times being sold alongside real newspapers, I will shop elsewhere. At least with MAGA hats, you know what the deal is. But the Epoch Times is a little more insidious because it's disguised as real journalism.nbcnews.com/news/us-news…”

I have been coming here for more than at least 12 years and this Pharmacy is like family to me. They are a Fresh of Breath Air. “I switched to this local pharmacy and it’s been such a great experience. They’re located on the second floor of the medical building on the corner of Earl and Emerald, and there’s easy parking.
Jay and the staff are friendly and helpful, and everything just feels smoother overall. I was able to reach the pharmacist right away and not wait through endless telephone prompts when I had an urgent question. They also transferred all my prescriptions over without any hassle, and refills are always ready really fast. I like being able to support a small local business. Highly recommend!”

“As a physician, I have used this pharmacy for both my personal and patient’s needs for over 5 years. They are constantly finding the best prices, are always available to walk you through any detailed instructions, and have never had a single mistake. Beyond that, there has not been a single time that I walked in without being greeted by name and treated like family. They seem to know every patients name and story. This is an absolute gem of a pharmacy and I could not recommend Skinners pharmacy enough.”

Thank you to everyone who is always kind and takes the time to educate me but if I am made to feel less than human by the staff member again, I will be having to switch pharmacies.”

Active Care Pharmacy is privately owned by Sara, a remarkable & genuine woman. Her knowledge surpasses everyone in her field. And she takes care of me like I am a beloved family member. I never have to wait in line and a plus is that I don't have to deal with big pharma any longer. Other pharmacies have stopped carrying some of the medications that I need but Sara always gets them for me. Also, she calls my doctor on my behalf if she knows of a more efficient medication other than what they prescribed ... amazing! She has helped me feel better and has actually improved my health. Her generosity extends to the community... she paid for and donated over $60,000 of Covid 19 vaccines. Who else would do that? I will be a loyal customer for life.”
