“I switched to this local pharmacy and it’s been such a great experience. They’re located on the second floor of the medical building on the corner of Earl and Emerald, and there’s easy parking.
Jay and the staff are friendly and helpful, and everything just feels smoother overall. I was able to reach the pharmacist right away and not wait through endless telephone prompts when I had an urgent question. They also transferred all my prescriptions over without any hassle, and refills are always ready really fast. I like being able to support a small local business. Highly recommend!”

The attention to detail, the professionalism, and her passion for her customer’s well-being, is really something special. I don’t live in the Torrance area, but I still rely on Southwood Pharmacy to keep me on track with my medications. They communicate with my doctors and my insurance company to make sure I get the meds I need. “This has been my primary pharmacy for about 6 months and I generally have very good experiences with the helpful staff. There is one particular person who each time I speak with her, she makes me feel like I am inconveniencing her and telling me what I did wrong in each interaction. Even when it was information she provided me that was wrong and led to lots of additional tasks on my end. Thank you to everyone who is always kind and takes the time to educate me but if I am made to feel less than human by the staff member again, I will be having to switch pharmacies.”

“there is a lot of great and high quality products and they have almost anything you need. though i would say that the food at their cafe place thing is very greasy, and each time i order a pizza, it is HUGE and covered in grease and end up using napkins to dab of the excessive amount of grease. i would come again (but probably not the cafe tho) :3”

The highlight of my visit was the service provided by Aloha. She provided a true 10/10 experience. I ran into a bit of a hurdle with a coupon issue, which can often be a point of friction in retail, but Aloha handled it with:

“I had an excellent experience with Damion at the Tire & Battery Center in the Torrance store. When the TPMS warning light came on in my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek, Damion carefully inspected the entire TPMS system and explained the issue clearly.
During the TPMS replacement, one of the nuts was badly stuck. Instead of proceeding without informing me, Damion called me first to explain the situation and asked for my permission before attempting to remove it. He told me he would do his best, and he certainly did. He successfully removed the stuck nut and completed the TPMS replacement without any problems.
Damion was professional, honest, and kept me informed throughout the process. I really appreciate his excellent customer service and attention to detail. Thank you, Damion, for going the extra mile! I highly recommend him to anyone needing tire or battery service.”
