“I needed some antibiotics delivered to my father ASAP because Kaiser pharmacy couldn't deliver them for another few days. Luckily I found this place on Yelp. It has many good reviews so I decided to try my luck. And in this case the reviews were all true. Payam was so helpful transferring the medications from another pharmacy and his staff was able to deliver the medications within an hour! We even called after hours to check the status of the delivery just to make sure, not expecting anyone to pick up the phone after 6pm. But Payam answered the phone and told us that the meds were delivered. I was very happy with how efficient the pharmacy was. But most importantly, I was impressed with how nice and patient Payam is. Like others say, he does care about his customers and his business. Even though we had to pay out of pocket for the drugs (they don't take Kaiser insurance obviously), it was money worth spent. I highly recommend this pharmacy!”

“I have historically went to CVS Pharmacy and always dealt with long wait times and unfriendly staff who don't care about their patients. My uncle referred me to Concierge Pharmacy. They were able to get my medication extremely quick, much faster than CVS. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly! I am extremely pleased with their professionalism and will only return to this pharmacy from now on.”

“We tried a mail prescription service and chain pharmacies and no one comes close to Carson Pharmacy. As a caregiver to a parent, this has taken one huge load off of my shoulders. Personalized care that's almost unheard of in most businesses today. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, no lost faxed prescriptions, new refills done quickly, free delivery when I can't make it in for a pickup. A very special thank you to Mary. In addition, the entire staff is fantastic. Highly recommend.”

“I’ve been a customer at Torrance Pharmacy for many years. They provide a level of service I would rarely get from the bigger chain pharmacies. The staff is always helpful and friendly, and Ryan has always been especially helpful in making sure my prescriptions are in order and ready on time. “this is a wonderful local drug store that will transport you back to the 80s/90s. They sell get well soon cards, gifts (tea cups, tea sets, incense, candles, plush animals) along with laundry stuff, sewing materials, school supplies, and even puzzles and 90s toys for the kids. You can also pay bills here and it counts as a pick up point for UPS delivery (this helped me significantly during early pandemic when i needed my packages with less people). Also they were one of the few pharmacies that had covid tests available when i had a covid scare in 2022. I mainly go here when I need medicine. The doctors will send the prescriptions to the pharmacist and its ready by the time I arrive. I think the longest I had to wait was 15 minutes. There is also a pharmacist there ready to answer any questions or concerns I have. and today I came to pick up some medicine. It was an easy breezy shopping experience. I highly recommend it. and there is a bakery next door so while you wait you can go get a donut or cupcake and come back and eat that with your medication :)”

“Parking is sometimes difficult . Handicapped parking is in the front. From the back parking lot there is no ramp to the back door, only stairs down to lobby. Many just park along the sidewalk in the front as the pharmacy is just inside the main doors on the 1st floor.”

“Vons Pharmacy team is amazing! This is my grandma's go-to pharmacy and they always take great care of her. When visiting recently, I had a prescription emergency fill need and was only in town for only 48 hours. But they were able to work with me/my hometown pharmacy to get me everything I needed before I left town again. So thankful for their hard work considering this was my emergency and not theirs. Will definitely be back and recommend them to my local friends! Thanks again for all your help!”

“This pharmacy is locally owned. The store is clean an inviting. Uyen and Maria, and the rest of staff are friendly and helpful. Although the pharmacy is smaller than the major pharmacies (CVS, WALGREENS), Southwood Pharmacy is efficient. They are very experienced and on top of your medical needs. Uyen is awesome. She not only makes you feel welcome, she is accurate, organized, and listens to your needs. I see her as a good friend. I would highly recommend Southwest Pharmacy.”

“A very good pharmacy with personal attention and care! I have finally left the nightmare of CVS pharmacy! And I am happy to pay $10-$15 more for my prescription to not have to deal with the catastrophic management of CVS Pharmacy's. They don't care, but why should they, it's not their business it's just a 9 to 5 job! They just want to punch the clock and go home.... Vm pharmacy which I had previously left because I had to pay a bit more, turns out to be a much much better pharmacy and more than worth the extra cost! This pharmacy is worth going to because they know you and actually care about your medication. and making sure you have it! They don't run out of stock.... And if they do, which is very rare, they will have it in 24 hours and deliver it to you! Don't make the mistake of going to a pharmacy that is a big corporation! They don't care because they have 100 more people behind you. That will take your place!! this pharmacy might be a bit more if you don't have good insurance, but it is more than worth it! thank you”

“Lately, I was having to go to multiple pharmacies to get my medication's. After going for more than a week without my medication, three different local pharmacies in San Pedro did not have the medication in stock there's a national shortage this pharmacy has been able to not only fill my prescriptions, but also has great customer service and knowledgeable pharmacists, who have explained meds and even asked me about possible different interactions. I have one medication that I'm taking temporarily, where you cannot eat certain things it will have a bad reaction. I was so happy she told me to wait a day because I had actually eaten some of the foods that cause stomach upset with that medication five star customer service and five stars for having items in stock. It says compounding I think they make medication there. They also do many other services that are listed when you enter the property, it's located inside a medical building parking is super convenient. It's worth the drive to get all my medication at one place instead of driving to multiple pharmacies also, they have some very cool hospital. Type gift shop stuff. I bought a cute Kitty cat that looks like the one we have at home.”

“Not sure why retail and all these types of places get such low ratings But honestly I like Sam's a lot Is it Costco? Yeah it's very much the same in many ways but in other ways it's not like some foods are diff and some things are same but it's a solid place The only downside is that the food court here should be moved away from checkout it's too close and it gets congested and there aren't that many lines open because they have alot more self check out and honestly I'm not going there or any store to check myself out. I'll do it for a nice associate discount lol Ps... didn't take photos I guess I don't think about it when shopping for groceries lol plus when they are taking hundreds of your dollars you tend to blank out lol”

“I toured this facility. Though they did not have what I was looking for (I needed 3 bedroom) the property was so nice and clean. They had updated amenities and it was surprisingly quiet for such a big property. The property manager,Simeonne , gave me a list of their other properties that have 3 bedrooms. She was very pleasant and helpful.”

My dad (yes, the country music listenin', bookcase buildin', briefcase carryin' guitar player mentioned 4 reviews down) used to drink the stuff. I was 7 or so and I thought it was medicine. I wondered why my dad had to drink these drinks every day, and what was in these things? So I read the label. I was SEVEN. And realised it was mostly vitamins and some caffeine. (I know, you're thinkin'.. what a dooooooork!~~~~) Fast forward to today.... they now make 'sugar free' Lipovitan for the sugar- conscious (read: weight conscious) *me*. Available at May Wah for a bargain $1.29/ bottle. It keeps me awake on the long days when I need that extra kick. And those days are all too often these days. *YAWN* YELP MODS: This is a drug company, not a drug store.”

“Sadie needs a RAISE! Stupid me accidentally forgot my membership card at home. She asked if I had the app which I didn't, ughh! Not a problem, as she whipped out an iPad and typing 100 words per minute, looked me up from my ID. Meanwhile she's continuing to check out the lady before me who was digging in her purse for payment and the line is growing. Where I've seen so many other checkers get flustered or impatient, Sadie just kept a pretty smile, joyful demeanor and had us in n out without skipping a beat. What a pro! I'll add that my previous experience with customer service to receive my membership was positive also, so I'm very pleased with Sam's so far.”

“I live next door to this store and the people here are like family to me. Of course they see me practically everyday. Amanda, the cashier that works every weekend, is a very nice person and sociable. I always joke with her regarding serving me ice cream and she makes me laugh. Overall, she is a very nice person, always smiling, and has a positive attitude at all times. The supervisor of the store is very nice too always smiling, says hi to me each and every time she sees me, possesses a positive attitude, and always happy. I strongly recommend Amanda be the next manager of the store or the store supervisor be promoted to the manager position. Both Amanda and the supervisor of the store would make an excellent management team of this location. They possess excellent customer service skills which to me is very important!!! Thank you Amanda and supervisor both of you are the best!!! We need more people like those two!!!”

“Excellent customer service! One of the best model pharmacies I've ever been to. All of the staff pharmacists are very thorough, friendly, and caring to my needs financially and medically. Each of the staff members always try their best to make sure that we are adherent to our medications. Shipping: NO CHARGE!! FREE OF CHARGE. This is a complimentary service from Walgreens directly. I'm not sure what the other person review was about but I never get charged! They call me every month to confirm my address for shipping and always read me out my shipping charge. Thank you for keeping me always in good health and my pockets happy! If you have expensive medications they will do prior authorizations with insurance, patient assistance programs with manufacturers, and coupons searching for you! I've been enrolled in a couple of foundations that they found when all else fails. Don't listen to the other review, clearly made up because they don't know what they are talking about. Makes me upset as a 10 year local member here to see the staff being talked that bad. Take your medications somewhere else then if you are unhappy and a liar like that person.”
