“I don’t usually review places. Because it feels like when you’re happy you don’t have the inclination. Reviews tend to happen when someone is upset. This goodwill is the most organized, clean and coordinated location I have ever been to! My hats are off to the employees! Racks are color coordinated neatly by style! I found myself finding a beige top in the blue area and putting it where it belonged out of respect. Good job! And thank you!”

“Always a good find every time I shop there. Staff are way above and beyond. Prices are too high on a few things, but you will walk away with a great deal 98% of the time. Discount days are amazing.”

“We came in with two big bags of clothes that we couldn't fit in or take with us during our move. The staff was busy at work or attending to other customers clothes, but the owner still took the time to explain the wait time and answered my question about how the selling process worked. 10/10 solid thrift store with a good selection. I got a sick mötley crüe shirt! ??”

“Any place that donates their time and provides food to those in need gets 5-stars.
Medium sized thrift store, decent selection but nothing high-brow, at least none that I found.
They also have a food bank out back to help those in need in the community.
Free parking behind the building but only about 10 spots. Free street parking available but check the signs for any parking restrictions.
They accept donations Monday through Thursday. Clothes, household items, etc. Do them a favor, toss your junk and only bring items they will be able to resell to help fund their charitable services.
If donating, thank you, if buying, thank you.
Hope you feel better when you leave and...enjoy!”

“Great! It’s quaint and lovely and the people are super nice! Sometimes selections are a little limited in terms of trendiness, but for these prices they’re still a steal. Also a heads up, they don’t take Apple Pay”

“Large selection of used items. Time and time again, I have found what I was in search of here. Pricing is low and fair. New inventory is being added constantly. So go often or miss out. They operate 3 days a week only, Thursday through Saturday.”

“It’s a great thrift store filled with lots of goodies from great dishes, housewares, clothing, jewelry, shoes and so much more! Very friendly and helpful staff.

Prices seem to be fair. I would definitely return with more time to shop. We arrived 20 minutes before closing. Still a great experience.”

“Popped into Alpine thrift on a whim while waiting for my table at sushi delight and found this little gem for $6 bucks! The cutest little vintage retro accent lamp. The gentlemen working went above and beyond, all volunteers and profits go towards a good cause. Highly recommended 12/10!

Their Christmas stuff is also already 60% off”

“As a man who wears a backpack, I'm happy to report this Goodwill is the only one which staffs people who don't eye me like I'm a criminal the instant I walk through the door.

Prices are weird and unpredictable, just like all the other thrift stores, but I find that one's like this, which are supposed to be the fancier, actually tend to have better deals than the supposed humdrum normal stores.

I like it.”

“I love this place ! It’s my go to for tools and odd stuff for my art , they have it all and the family that runs it are the nicest you’ll meet. Kika’s daughter runs the business now I believe and does a great job of keeping the store full and orderly yet still gives the feeling of a treasure hunt! Stop by if your ever out that way or at the Pick a parts ! Everything is always 1/2 off the listed price!!!!”

“This Salvation Army store on Artesia Blvd in Redondo Beach, is NOT the closest one to where I live in Santa Monica- but I go out of my way for 2 main reasons: and drive 45 min each way, Here's why:1) This store is always so neatly and beautifully organized, that it's a sincere joy to find gems from fashion accessories to decorative items that I have purchased for myself and for gift giving, saving me $ and knowing that all of my money spent is going to an amazing worthy cause.2) The cashier- especially Sonya the cashier, is the most helpful, courteous, efficient and this young lady always renders great customer service with a genuine smile. This is reason enough to visit this Salvation Army store on Artesia Blvd.My kudos to the mgr- please accept my genuine thanks for a great job! After all, I am in the travel industry- and customer service is the heartbeat of what I sell.:-)”

“Some good deals on furniture. It's hard to find affordable solid wood furniture, so this used store can be helpful. They have two locations, one in San Pedro and the other in Lomita. When you call make sure to mention which store you're going to visit, because we called Lomita and it went to San Pedro.”

“If you want to support a small, privately owned business, this is the place to shop. I felt like I was walking through someone's home, and everything in it was for sale. Dresser drawers, men and women's clothing, jewelry, rugs, lamps, you name it. Interesting. Gentleman working here is friendly.”

“I love Savers. I have spent hours here and I always find something. Their prices have gone up and that’s not a good sign. But, it’s neat, organized, and merchandise is clean. It’s not often I find clothing with holes or stains.”

“Lots of clothes. Unfortunately none I wanted. However, we did get a wonderful vintage Lane cedar chest for next to nothing, so there are great finds to be discovered.”

“Check it out lots of surprises ? I usually drop off donations and i go there at least 2x a year and seems like improved a lot. More organized and cleaner than before but price tag went up as well. Great hunt for my DIY stuff??”

“Goodwill continues to impress me with its combination of organization, value, and genuine community impact. Every visit feels like a small treasure hunt—aisles are clean, clearly labeled, and thoughtfully arranged, which makes browsing surprisingly enjoyable. The staff deserves special recognition: they’re consistently friendly, patient, and quick to help whether you’re donating, shopping, or just exploring.

What really stands out is the sense of purpose behind the experience. Knowing that every purchase supports job training and local programs adds a meaningful layer to the simple act of shopping. It’s rare to find a place where great deals, sustainability, and community service intersect so naturally.

If you’re looking for quality finds, fair prices, and a chance to support a mission that truly matters, Goodwill delivers every time. A well‑earned five stars.”

The donation area is around back with a ramp leading up to inside. Also there's a bin located right at the end to drop off ur donations. Pretty decent size as well, fully stocked.”
