This shop has close ties with many top winemakers in the U.S. and Europe, and often have wines that are hard to find anywhere else. Have been a customer for--um--decades. They even delivered wine during the Covid shutdown--true lifesavers! Have attended a number of their wine tasting events, and have learned much about my favorite bev from them.”

“The store is under new ownership and the improvements are incredible! The shelves are now loaded with the absolute best quality (often highly allocated) wines from around the world. They also have a huge selection of half bottles, spirits, dessert wines, as well as some older vintages. I attended a cabernet tasting and all of the wines were thoughtfully selected and very good. Also, the wines I purchases were below the lowest price I could find anywhere on the internet. The new ownership definitely warrants another visit.”

“I remember this store being an Alpha Beta in the 70's, thus being, it's old and small, lacking the modern conveniences you find today in most supermarkets. There is no deli, bakery, fresh cut fruit. I shop here often and find most of the employees nice and friendly, and some that completely lack personality. The meat department is excellent, can't say the same for the seafood.”
“After going thru numerous liquor stores, this place is absolutely the leading one. Very clean, spacious, friendly, sociable, and knowledgeable of liquors. My brother in law came to visit and he's a collector. We actually came here for the pappy bottle picture when we googled. If anything, they have a more variety and rare/expensive ones. Although they sell other products but their main ones are liquors. Other stores have all sorts of stuff piled up in shelves and stuff that made it so "cluttered". It's like "In N Out Burgers" they focus on the main thing they're set to selling.”

“World Market is an odd store, but in the best way....sure there is furniture and stuff, but there is so much more.
1. Exotic Meats for charcuterie boards.
2. Exotic coffee and tea
3. Exotic candies and cookies
4. Other stuff too.
Hard to leave this store without some of the first three listed above.

“I've been in a couple times and they've been nothing but nice and had what I was looking for ready to go and at a reasonable price. One time I actually got to the counter and rang up and the dude working there told the woman ringing me up "Oh, that one says $24 but it's $19 right now, it should be marked down", he didn't need to, just a solid honest gesture. Really bad Mexican soap opera blaring on the TV but hey that's part of the charm.”
“I happened to stop into the Keg N Bottle to buy drinks after a long day. We are from out of town and unfortunately our stay in SD was extended due to unfortunate circumstances. I walked into this establishment and was greeted by pure kindness, that really uplifted me. Faris, was amazing and so kind. It’s really refreshing to encounter such great people/ humans.
