“Went for Covid tests a couple time. Appointments required. Stayed in the car, self collected sample, and handed sample to staff in a bag. Result delivered to email box the next day if sample was taken before noon; otherwise, within 48 hours. Good Experience is convenient, fast, and courteous staff. I didn’t go in the store. However, it looks very clean. Maybe will start filling my prescriptions here based on the good reviews from others.”

“Love this Ralph's! I needed to get to a Ralph's after dark with my kids and didn't want to go to the Escondido one since that parking lot is sketchy at night. This parking lot is a lot more spacious and well-lit and has a pedestrian walkway which already makes it better and more family-friendly in my book, and to top it off didn't have anyone loitering in the parking lot with questionable intentions. When I walked into the store, I was impressed by how big it was compared to the other Ralph's, and clean! Definitely felt more comfortable there and like I could walk around without crashing into anyone. I found all the items I was looking for including one item that I'd been looking at other stores for for weeks. Self-checkout was a breeze and I was in and out super quick. I didn't interact with any of the employees so can't really speak to the service but all in all I would definitely come back here just from a safety standpoint alone.”

Dealing with insurance can be a nightmare, but Anu follows through diligently and makes sure Rxs are filled on time and correctly. “Oh my gosh!How many times in your life can you say that visiting the pharmacy to pick up a prescription was the enjoyable highlight of your day?The pharmacists on staff (Christine and Aria) exuded fun and pleasant energy from the second I stepped foot into the pharmacy, cracking friendly jokes and putting me at ease.On top of that, Christine took the time to not only show me how my prescribed medicine is administered (in the most engaging and entertaining way possible) but also broke the medication down and explained the effects, benefits and side effects of each active ingredient of the medication.They were both incredibly knowledgeable and warm and it really made my day!Thanks so very very much!”

“I highly recommend La Jolla Discount Pharmacy. The owner, David, went out of his way to find a medication prescribed by my fertility doctor that he did not currently have in stock. Anyway, I realized she was just doing her job, so, then I complimented outrageously on her amazing sales talent and focus of running the pre-constructed sales training Script after my obvious display of, "losing my cool," I tactfully but pointedly, stated we're financially better off than most retired Military Vets and their family. I digress, please accept my apologies. This is definitely a wonderful place to browse and carouse. The personnel and staff are wonderfully knowledgeable and AMAZING at what they do, so, just a little caution, know what you want and buy only what you can reasonably afford.This place was my Best Buy, Fry's, Hallmark, Men's Warehouse, Candy Shop, snacks for parties and Gaming Nights, and a place where I met some people I wish I still was in contact with.... It's seems like this is just a typical, "One Stop Shop," place, but it's much more. If you ever were in a different country, you'll find people and necessities that make you proud to be American. A nostalgia that you will miss and over-indulge as you embrace your foreign surroundings. This place represents more than we see and take for granted. Support our military bases and businesses, the families that are in unfamiliar territory and yet seem so a like the locals but will never feel at ease, and the people that take minimum wage to maintain that welcoming and yet American capitalism and inclusiveness unique to being a representative of the USA.If and when I can afford it by getting to where I am working my tail off to get too, I promise I will come back and ALWAYS buy the additional warranty!!”

“Just got done switching all my prescriptions, I have 5 or 6, to El Norte from CVS on a recommendation from my wife. I had been picking up hers for about 6 months there with ZERO ISSUES. There's enough bad press about CVS that there is no need for me to jump on. The CVS at El Norte Parkway is drastically understaffed! When I go in to pick up scrips at El Norte, they know my name! It's a small shop, not open 24 hours or weekends but the good outweighs this inconvenience at a dramatic level.”

“We love the staff at this Ralph's. We always find exactly what we need and then some. The selection here is decently big for a smaller sized grocery store. Fair warning, it gets pretty busy around rush hour as expected but I still manage to get in and out fairly quickly. I've never had any issues with their produce section, it always seems to be pretty fresh. Definitely a nice alternative if you don't find what you need at the Target down the road or don't want to drive to Vons. One time I bought a milk that had a leak in it and I immediately took it back. The woman at self check out told me to get a new one and that was that. No hassle or even going through the process of exchanging. There's even a few cashiers that recognize our kids and always say hi to them by name. 10/10 for this Ralph's location.”
