“Love the Redding Elks Lodge! We have been here once before and loved it then too. We are going to use it as our main base and travel to Hat Creek and McCloud without having to take our rv there. Joe introduced himself while we were sitting outside the lodge to get internet because it does not come through in our space #8. I work when traveling so need the internet. Joe was so nice and he is wanting to make the best possible experience for traveling members in every way. He even talked about boosting the internet for us so we could maybe receive it in our space. Thank you Joe!”

“Very nice area to gather with friends and relax. We went on a Friday evening and it was all lit up with lights. You can purchase different drinks and often times food vendors are also there. Highly recommend for a date night or a night out with friends!”

“I can't say enough good things about Krista. I was a mentor for a Transitional Living Program in Redding. The kids started interviewing other places because that company was bad to say the least... one of my kids chose Krista and it has been the most peaceful, incredible, supportive fit that we could have ever dreamed for her to have. It's our experience that this program is completely in line with honoring the kids in it. The staff has been truly amazing - she was blessed with Kesley and Jason. They've made navigating adulthood as a foster youth seamless. This is a kid who came in motivated to succeed but you wouldn't imagine the amount of programs that put hurdles in front of that. Krista asks how they can help instead.”

“My name is Suzanne Hunting and I have a 27 year old son who has been diagnosed as being on the Autism spectrum with the associated developmental disabilities and additionally he has mental illness challenges. I have searched all over Northern California to find support and help for my son. He has worked many jobs, both supported and public, and never found fulfillment until he was introduced to the ranch through Impact Solutions. The impact this Ranch has made on my son is miraculous.The Horse Encounters program that Kathy O'Donnel runs has completely changed his life. It is through this program and the connection the Ranch develops between horses and humans where the magic takes place. Paralleling the skills of horsemanship to life has helped my son to be motivated and it is inspiring him to become social, curious, and develop positive mental health so he can start enjoying life and believing in himself again. There truly is no other program in Northern California with proven results. I can't talk enough about how wonderful and important this ranch is needed in our community. Horse Encounters provides support to our special needs, foster and adopted children, veterans, seniors, families, and Peer Groups. I am so grateful to Kathy O'Donnel and all her work to support our community and our most vulnerable populations. I truly do not know what I would do without this amazing place called Roughout Ranch.”

“Love the YMCA! The staff are all very friendly. They have so much to offer. My favorite class is Yoga for Stress with Jess! There is always something happening here! I wish the outdoor pool had more space dedicated to free/open swim during the summer months. It's limited to the very shallow area for toddlers and one lane typically. It's not ideal to come swim here as lanes and classes dominate the pool spaces.”

“The agency worked with 3 of my grandchildren, to ensure there were no lasting affects after being born positive for opiates. The young lady we were assigned came once a week, for 4 years, starting with our twins and ending with their younger brother who was born 11 months after them. She was warm and encouraging. Consistently patient, especially with our eldest grandchild, who was not a part of the program but who she offered suggestions for dealing with certain behaviors. She, and a wonderful lady named Susie from Head Start, who also came in weekly, made caring for 4 small children, at a riper age, a little easier. Far Northern itself never charged me a dime for their assistance. They just saw a need and responded. Forever grateful grandmother here.”
