Shade Hotel Redondo Beach is a highly recommended destination known for its warm and attentive service. Guests have praised the friendly hosts and servers, like Danni and Germano, who provide excellent service and create a welcoming atmosphere. The patio next to the marina offers a pleasant dining experience, complemented by live music, although some found it a bit loud for conversation. The food, including the short rib hash and crispy rice tuna, is well-received, and happy hour prices are considered great. While the hotel has valet parking and some additional fees, many guests feel that the experience justifies the cost. The hotel features lovely rooms equipped with modern amenities, including LED lights and a balcony tub, adding a special touch to the stay. Some visitors noted minor issues, like mold in spots, but appreciated the presence of dehumidifiers, indicating a commitment to guest comfort. Overall, Shade Hotel offers a fabulous stay in fashionable Redondo Beach, with options for cycling along the coast and a strong focus on customer care, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors.
Food and scenery were really good. Service was slow, polite waiters but took a long time for drinks.

Was told that the manager decided not to “have happy hour” hour that day. Pretty disappointing.

Had a good time. Unlimited mimosas are over priced for cheap Wycliffe champagne and a glass of juice. Loved the musician very talented, but a little loud for that space. Most people like to talk over a meal. Short rib hash was wonderful!!! Will be back.
