“I’m new to the Menlo Park area and was in search of a solid and reliable place to take my 2021 Audi for a change of breaks. I contacted this place on a last minute need (my rear break was metal on metal) and the guys here were not just extra accommodating but also super professional, Ivan (owner I believe) and his son, were able to get me in the next morning on a Saturday after calling them 20 mins before closing the night before. They did everything possible to help me, did a great job on the car, and did I mention how reasonable their price are?

“So I started to notice my ignition wouldn't start normally sometimes - then the sometimes became more frequent. I said its about time to get it checked and fixed. I have a busy schedule and I live in Daly City, but work in Redwood City. So I googled "best autoshop in Redwood City" - and Toral Auto Care was the first one that popped up! I looked at the reviews on yelp and there has been nothing but positive messages about Miguel, the master mechanic at the shop. I took it in before starting my shift at work and I told him he can take his time to work on it, which was a benefit for me because I work in RWC, and told him the issue with my car. Before I got off worked he contacted me and said my car is ready! He said the issue has been solved and it was the Crankshaft Sensor that was the issue. He changed my spark plugs as well as my cabin air filter. He charged me a very fair and good price for the work he did. I will come back to him for my oil change and I am confident in him and his team to do a great job each time his clients chooses them to do their car repairs. Glad to have found you guys! Thank you!”
“We had the pleasure of working with Jaime when seeking a Toyota RAV4. We initially went there looking for a used 2023 one, but Jaime advised us that for a little bit extra, we could get a brand new 2025 one. He was very welcoming from the start and we never felt any pressure when working with him. Yosef was also helpful as he explained details clearly and, also, did not make us feel pressured. This is the second time I have been to this location for a vehicle and their customer service is what stands out the most to us.”

Once the bumper arrived, James did an outstanding job with the repair and paintwork. “I had a bad experience a few years back with an employee who lied to me so after decades, I went elsewhere for my oil changes. After being less than happy with the new places, I decided to give Speedee a try again. This was my second time “back” and I can say I feel confident again in the honesty of the owners. I knew I wouldn’t need an oil or air filter no one tried to sell me those things which some establishments would have done. Also the person who checked me out, found a coupon for me which gave me $15 off. Too many car repair establishments see a woman as an opportunity to make some extra money so it’s good to feel you can trust one.”

“I would give Jesus 5 stars plus for top quality body work he did. Additionally, he overheard me having difficulty getting picked up by Enterprise down the street, and offered to run me over there. He was outstanding in both his technical expertise and customer service.
The administrative part of the operation is less efficient. After I got the quote, I had some other things going on that caused me to have to delay bringing the car in. I got bombarded by phone calls from the office until I finally said "don't call me...I'll schedule when I am ready." I expected to get my car back on a Fri., but got a text messages saying it would be ready the following Tues., which would have required a longer car rental. I called and found that this was an erroneous message. However, the next day I got the same inaccurate text again. When I went to pick up my car, I had to find the key and the paperwork for the desk person. Halfway home, I got a call: "We forgot to get the deductible." I had to turn around and go back. They do great body work, but the office needs improvement.”
“Alright I’m late on getting this review up but I wanted to make sure people know that I really appreciate Chestnut.
I had this huge Chevy 3500 Duramax Dually truck and had both of my driver side rear tires blow at the same time so I got stuck on the side of 101. I called three different tow services before I got to Chestnut and they were all ready to gouge me for a flatbed. Chestnut was the only one that had a reasonable price and a truck that could fit MY truck
They came out super fast the moment I said yes to the quoted price, literally less than half an hour from when I dialed their number. They towed me to their shop and by the time we got there they had the tires ordered, delivered, and waiting to be installed.
The pricing was extremely fair, beating out every other tow truck company, and was also fair for the tire installation job. Chris even discounted it a bit for me. Office staff were very polite but also down to earth. REAL PEOPLE, NOT LIKE MACHINES OR AI. Comfortable chairs in the waiting area and it’s a bonus that McDonald’s is across the street for a quick bite while waiting
I only found out later that Cherry Limo and Chestnut Auto are related to eachother, another business that left me super happy. The owners are brothers
