But yesterday they went well beyond what someone could ask.
Drove up around 3:20 pm on Friday needing my convertible closed on an older MBZ that was having hydraulic issues all of a sudden. You could tell there were still lots of cars to be worked on for that day and it was only Anton and another mechanic and Anton went out of his way to help get the top closed, did not charge me, and allowed me to make an appointment with them for late next week.

“First time in May of this year, I thought I had a major problem, my mechanical transmission was stuck in third gear, and I expected a total overhaul, but Nick found a problem with corrosion and it was fixed in a short time and at a good price.
The second time my car had 4 problems and again Nick fixed all in no time at all and not requiring lots of money.
Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Excellent. Tops!

“Dealer quoted over 2k for front control arm bushings. I called Barinder for a second opinion. He said he’d take a look and let us know if they needed to be replaced. After inspection, they did and the cost was under 1k. He did the work quickly and honestly. Would recommend for any Subaru owners in the area.”

My 2019 Kia Sorento air conditioner was not blowing cold air. My longtime mechanic in San Mateo told me he checked it months prior, advised it was working fine.
[Wally?] the owner diagnosed the problem as likely a small leak. He recommended an A/C charge that would likely last a few years over expensive replacement parts.
AC worked great!! I did not realiize how poorly my A/C was working. And he completed the work in several hours on a Saturday. Highly recommend.”

“I had a great experience taking my Subaru
to Nor Cal Automotive. Phil promptly responded to my inquiry about changing my brake pads (which I’d been putting off) and replacing my CVT fluid. I’d been shopping around, but other shops either didn’t respond or gave me the runaround.
We scheduled a drop-off before work. Phil inspected the car, discovered my rotors were damaged, sent a photo, and gave me options to polish or replace them. I chose polishing, and it was awesome that he could handle it in-house instead of sending it out.
He provided a clear estimate, I approved the work, and he kept me updated with texts throughout the day. Everything was completed before I got off work. The brakes felt great, rotors looked smooth, and the CVT fluid change was done. The communication was top-notch , and the whole process felt stress-free.
I highly recommend Phil and Nor Cal Automotive for honest, efficient, and great service. I’ll most definitely be back when I need my car to be serviced again.”

Just out of my warranty period, my 2022 Audi SQ5 ended up with a cracked water pump. The crew at Motorsport Division was able to take my car in and within a day and a half, it was fixed.
