“I really like this bank, it’s warm and welcoming, with superb customer service. Love the fresh coffee. They also have notary services for members for free. I like to acknowledge Damaris Galindo, the traveling assistant manager there. She is super friendly, fast and knowledgeable. We went to her for notary service related to our home, she welcomed us, went through all the docs, helped us clarify with our lawyer a section that was unclear, and completed everything for us in timely manner. We are so grateful to Damaris and to the bank.???”
“This is a great bank... it's that simple. It's great because the staff truly wants to help their customers. I visited the branch a week ago for the first time to deposit an insurance refund check. The teller, Jennifer Robles, was super friendly and very competent. I reached for my driver's license... oops... I had forgotten to bring my wallet. No problem. Jennifer confirmed my ID through records on file and finished the transaction lickety split.Today, I visited the Redwood City branch, again. As trustee for my mom's estate, I stopped by to close out her account. As luck would have it, Jennifer was my teller, again. This was only the second time I had been inside this branch and she remembered me. There was a glitch with a utility charge on the account, but Jennifer quickly enlisted the help of branch manager, Heherson "John" Balico to solve the problem. He surmised that a utility payment had been charged twice in error and he credited the second charge back to the account. It was such a relief to have a banking professional trying to help me instead of shrugging and saying there was nothing the bank could do. John impressed me as being someone who is genuine and who is committed to doing the best job for each customer he meets.Well, it was time to go back to Jennifer. She prepared a cashier's check to close out my mom's account... no charge. The entire time spent inside the branch was a super positive experience. Banks are largely the same. There's not a whole lot of difference in their services, but what makes a difference is the people working inside the bank. If you live in or near Redwood City, I recommend you take a look at Bank of the West. Jennifer, John and the rest of the staff will treat you right.”

One thing to improve: add a ticket machine so that you do not need to wait in a line for a teller, so that the teller registers you to be in line, if you need to go to the cubicle to speak with an employee. If you find it confusing, it is.”

“Wanted to share how great my experience was coming into this downtown Redwood City branch of Wells Fargo this afternoon.
Nora, my banker for today, was able to answer several questions of mine. Not only that, she was able to provide detail for all of my follow-up questions; she even researched the only question she wasn't totally sure about, to ensure she gave me the correct answer to that question as well.
The way in which she provided both customer service and professional consultation was excellent, and this was the best experience I have had working with a banker for personal banking, ever -- and that's saying something, because I have only had varying levels of good experiences at Wells Fargo when working with both tellers and bankers.”

“I am writing this to give my compliments and these 5 stars to a wonderful staff at Chase - Cesar Zavala.
Cesar was assigned to my case when my appointment with another staff was unceremoniously deprioritized by her manager (There were some pleasantries from the manager but no apology was given by the staff or the manager). When Cesar took over my case, he attended to it with care and compassion. His thoughtfulness and strong attention to detail also ensured that I really understood the application process as a client and avoided pitfalls encountered by other clients.
Like the rest of the reviews here, it could have been an awful experience for me at Chase, but Cesar's outstanding client service redeemed it and won me over.”

“this wf is so close to where i live and yet i didn't even go until just a couple weeks ago! i guess i'm always stopping by wf wherever i happen to be shopping or running errands, which is not close to home!this location is a bit smaller than others, and the parking lot size is reflective of that as well. fortunately for me, someone just left so i took their spot! it was a weekday around lunchtime, so there was a fair number of customers inside, waiting in line, but i didn't have to wait too long since most of the teller stations were occupied.i had a pretty simple withdrawal request, $100 as a single $100 bill. but when i communicated this to the teller, she gave me a bizarre look like i made a very strange request, so i asked what was wrong. she said that she thought i wanted $100,000! mind you, she wrote this on a piece of paper instead of saying it aloud, which i can understand since we're inside a bank, but i was a bit taken aback, and immediately told her no, just $100 (no extra zeroes!) we both had a laugh about it after we cleared this up! this was probably the funniest experience i ever had inside a bank!”
“So I'm leaving this review because this is not my go to bank. However Maria Delluchi, she made my Christmas by helping me out with a personal loan to pay off my credit card at half of the interest. Not only did she recommend it but helped me through the whole process the whole time with a smile on her face! Theresa also helped out with a few papers n with the wifi 4 my bank app. These 2 ladies not only helped me out but put a smile on my face. “Great service, my go-to bank!! Maria, the branch manager, has always been very sweet and a team player. Just by the way she interacts with her team and people, you'll see that treats you like a human being. Never long lines, if there are, you're not in one long, at all. Everyone is helpful. They have a nice parking lot, with shade all over. Also, a walk-up ATM and ATM in the lobby and when you first walk in. I'm not disappointed... I don't think you'd be either.”

The majority of the tellers are friendly, professional, and take the time to make sure everything is handled smoothly. It’s clear that they care about doing a good job and helping customers.
Sometimes the branch can get busy, and the line moves a little slower, but I think that’s just the nature of a popular location. Even when it’s crowded, most of the staff still manage to keep things moving while staying polite and helpful. Overall, I appreciate the good service I get here most of the time, and it’s why I keep coming back to this branch.”
