“I like this B&N location. It's a real shame it's closing down. It is a mid-sized location, not one of the overwhelmingly large locations that's mostly empty space anyway. Just one level. Even so, I was happy with the selection. Plenty of books to choose from. I had no shortage on my visit. Employees are mostly friendly and chatty, although the guy working the floor seemed to have too much to do. The parking lot can get chaotic though, so keep your eyes open. This place is worth a visit. Grab what you can while it's still around.”
“Lemo Fox Mini-Z is actually a permanent indoor radio controlled car race track. The track is for 1:28 RC race cars. Inside Line Racing (check them out on Facebook) manages the track and the races. They have loaner cars for you to try. It's the closest place near San Francisco to race RC cars. The people there are passionate, super friendly and very helpful. I showed up with almost no RC car experience. I loved the challenge - it's not easy. They helped me becoming a better driver and I'm now able to compete at national level. “I found NewType during the pandemic. They were across the bridge then. They have since moved to Union City. Much closer to me. With Hobbies unlimited closing, and Sheldons being so far away its nice to have a place close by to get supplies. Great service, I have only met one of the employees, his name is Benji. Super nice guy and helpful. I hope their inventory continues to expand. We need our LHS to open back up. Support them if you can. Its so hard to find places like NewType locally.”
