“We hired Blossoms and Botanicals for our wedding reception at Domenico Winery in San Carlos, and we were blown away by the product that Regina and her team put together. We didn’t know exactly what we wanted when we reached out, but knew she was a preferred vendor at our venue and thought she would have a good idea of what would work in that space. Regina knew the venue inside and out and helped us tweak some of our ideas to work well in the space. She also agreed to try something new that we were interested in, and it worked out so well. She showed us examples of potential arrangements, had several different options for floral arches for photos, and when we ended up with an extra table on the day of was able to put together an extra centerpiece at the last minute.
Regina also made sure to wait until the flowers she would be using were in season so we could get the best idea of what our centerpieces would look like.
The arrangements and décor themselves were incredible, we got so many compliments from all of our guests at how beautiful and unique the flowers were, and the quality exceeded our expectations on all levels. If we ever need flowers for anything in the future we will be using Blossoms and Botanicals, and definitely recommend them for any special occasion you might need flowers for.”
“Lyngso was fantastic. The salesperson, Paloma, was extremely helpful figuring out with me how much soil I would need for my job and what type I needed and he set up my delivery. They reminded me of my delivery the day before and kept me informed when it left their location. The driver, Juan, arrive right on time and was so friendly and helpful figuring out where to dump it and making sure the area was ready. Everything from start to finish couldn’t have gone smoother. Great experience.”
“Got our Christmas tree, wreath, and poinsettias here discounted 30%-50% off because it was close to the end of the season. They cut off the ends for us once we made our selection. All the trees were kept in water. Will definitely come back to this Christmas tree farm next year!”
“Found a really nice ~10' Redwood Tree there that we are using as a Xmas tree inside this year and plan on planting it after the holiday in the back yard. As the employee offered to ring us up he said they would delivery locally for free which was most likely best for the tree's longevity;) Their selection isn't as large as Home Depot, Sloat or Flora Grubb, but they have a nice selection of healthy plants for grow zones 9 & 10 in addition to a really nice selection of pots as well.”
“Golden Nursery is my fav nursery for the new plants hunting in San Mateo. They have many unique types of plants you can find here such as herbs, fruit trees, ground covers, perennials, ferns, succulents, house plants, seeds, bulbs, ect. It’s fun that I usually get something interesting as my new plant buddies whenever I came here. Looking forward to visiting here again! ?”

“My wife and I were married at the San Mateo Arboretum in June of 2019, it just occurred to me I should post a review! We were very happy with the venue, we had the wedding out in the garden with about 52 people. We used the Pump House to stage things, and had the buffet tables outside. We were able to bring in a catering truck with a pizza oven, and the caterer provided the servers to stage the food and serve the drinks. Our contact helped us with the logistics and was there for the event, when there was an issue with another event in the park blocking the access she quickly worked it out with them and got the path cleared. There are some limitations to work with: no real kitchen for cooking, no dishwashing, and the interior would be cramped for 45 people, so hope for clear weather and bring a mobile caterer. Don't expect to play really loud music or have a big dance party on the grass. But for a small low-key wedding the garden is fantastic, and makes a wonderful backdrop. The price is very affordable, and we were able to book it with 4 months notice, so it was a very good option for us... Highly recommended if it fits your needs!”

“Don’t understand why the ratings are so low. I dealt with Jube (sorry if I got name wrong) and set up a scenario for him over phone. Long story short, we moved and wouldn’t be able to deliver same day but he stated so long as we are there next day by 7am(730am cutoff), we’d be squared away.
Answered all my questions and took time to answer back despite closing hours (7:57pm call in).

“Everyone’s probably been here 100 times and 95% of the time it’s usually fine. However this particular visit required extensive planning, design revising, and attention to detail ordering several custom windows. Soé in the window department went above and beyond spending several hours with us making sure everything was correct and even postponing his lunch & break to accommodate. It’s hard to find service like this nowadays and because of this I’ll come back just for him.”
