The United States Postal Service branch on Jefferson St is a small facility surrounded by small stores and restaurants. Women behind the counter are polite, efficient and helpful, working alone and quickly through the queue of customers with happy greetings and pleasant demeanour. Service is fast on a weekday if you come at a dead hour around 2:45‑3ish. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and nice. The branch is near downtown and a convenient location near a lot of other businesses, but free parking is verrrrry limited. At peak hours it can be a waste of time, taking more than 10‑15 min to drop off a prepaid package. Hours start later than the main post office on Broadway, and lunch time ends at 1:30 or 2, not clearly posted online.
Visited today, and the women behind the counter was very polite, efficient and helpful.
She was working alone, but quickly worked through the queue of customers, each with a happy greeting and pleasant demeanour.
