“This is the best comic store I’ve ever been to. You won’t find a better manga selection around unless you drive all the way out to the Barnes & Noble at The Grove or the Santa Monica Mitsuwa. The manga section here has kept me busy enough for the last few years that I’m basically only just now started to buy from the comics selections. There’s a great selection of books here both things I’ve heard of and that I’ve never heard of before but took a chance on and liked. The rewards program is solid. They’ve got two sweet shop cats. What’s not to like? There’s not a ton of parking in the lot but the store itself is a great size and you can always park in the neighboring grocery lot across the street and use the crosswalk so it’s super easy and then on your way back you can get some coldstone. I love coming to this store and I hope it’s around for many years to come”

“His prices on things are pretty unparked with market price most of the time. Overall, really good prices. And he's willing to negotiate on top of that most of the time in order to make sure you leave happy. Makes you feel good about your purchase. A lot of variety and has a lot of really old school stuff too. And cool little things for kids on the more affordable side as well”
“My son received a gift card for his birthday, so we headed over to Build-A-Bear. We went in the middle of the week, and to our surprise, the store was completely empty! It was a nice bonus because the staff was able to spend extra time with my son, helping him through the process of building his bear.
Once we stuffed his bear just the way he wanted, we moved on to the accessories. He picked out the cutest pair of Baby Yoda pajamas. We already have all the superhero outfits at home, so it was time for something new.
At the end of our visit, we even got to create the sweetest little birth certificate for the bear.
When we checked out, there was a special offer: pay $5 and get a $10 gift card. I couldn’t resist, so I grabbed one for our next visit!”
“Bearcave is decent it used to be called Njoy a few years back but this place stays with product and tournaments. Its on a main street so I would always take the bus on a Sunday for the OPTCG tourneys. Recently, I won the Union Arena Rare battle for One Punch Man and the prizing was solid. Also, when releases happen, they are pretty fair on the pricing for MSRP.”
“This is a HUGE toy store! So awesome. It is air conditioned inside, which was perfect on a hot day. They have a wide selection of different types of toys for all ages of babies, toddlers, kids, teens, and even adults (for example, I collect Hotwheels)! I will definitely be back. Super cool store.”

“It’s a very cute store with *MOST* of the Sanrio characters, but most of the stuff is extremely over price.
A small hangyodon plushie was 50 dollars, which at most should’ve been at LEAST 15-20 dollars. a lot of INSANE PRICES but it’s best to stick with smaller cheaper items. I brought 5 hangyodon items which ended up costing me almost 60 dollars which were simple items. (A plastic zip bag, hair brush , fridge magnet, keychain and a small pin)
All of the items in the store are super cute and only worth it if you’re willing to spend a lot of money on overpriced Sanrio items.
If the owner of the store sees this, please lower your items for reasonable prices, overall you have amazing sweet kind cashier and a clean store, as well very organized.”

“Five Stars Aren’t Enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We celebrated my daughter’s eighth birthday on Saturday, May 24th at the American Girl store in Los Angeles, and let me just say—this party was the Super Bowl of doll birthdays. We pulled up in a party bus (because why not make Barbie jealous?) and were immediately met with top-tier service and smiles that could light up a dollhouse.
Winnie, our personal shopper, was a total rockstar—imagine a fairy godmother with retail superpowers. She helped the girls each pick out their dream American Girl doll. My mother and I even purchased one for our selves! ? I got the cutest baby boy and mom, of course chose a historical doll. Winnie made each of us feel like the main character in a sparkly girl drama series!
Eddie, our server, was a food-and-fun ninja. He managed to serve the kids, the dolls, and the excited parents without breaking a sweat. Bonus points for his patience with six little giggling voices requesting refills and cake (the cake was absolutely gorgeous and delicious) at the same time!
And then there was Gabrielle—our party planner and hairstylist extraordinaire. She wrangled bows, braids, and birthday magic like a pro. If party planning were an Olympic sport, she’d be on the podium, gold medal in one hand, curling iron in the other.
Everything—from the birthday cake to the party favors-were handled with care, creativity, and genuine warmth. The girls felt like VIPs and so did their dolls (who now all want a return trip, of course).
Thank you to the whole team for making our daughter’s day unforgettable. If you’re looking for a party that will blow tiny socks off (and leave you with the cutest Instagram pics ever), this is the place.”

But when I bought a mini power bank, I thought that they were $5 like the sign said above the item rack, but when I purchased them they were $10, so just a quick reminder: just take a photo of the item on google camera so you can see the actual price! “Auntie Barbara's kids is a great stop. I have been shopping there for years and have always found the staff to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I drive from Newport Beach because they have such unusual things. When ever I give a gift from Auntie Barbara's it is always well received because it is simply put unique and beautiful. They have a large selection or both boys and girls clothes that happen to be adorable. I took my granddaughter there and she thought it was the best store ever. The staff was very polite and engaging with her and she felt like a grown-up shopping. She can't wait to go back. Today when so many stores lack customer service, this store gives great customer service. Their recommendations are always spot on. If you're looking for a quality gift this is the place. Don't let some of the negative reviews cause you not to go. This is definitely a gem. My one wish was that it was closer to me!!!”

“Pretty nice people and okay place to sell at around 70%. Most product is marked up pretty high above MSRP but probably due to the location and rent. Good place to pick up singles but not sealed, too marked up. However, they have alot of product and updated product often, usually upon release of a new set.”
