We Can Be Heroes is the exact opposite. Julio and his team created a super fun atmosphere where passion, exploration, collecting and the thrill of the hunt all come together for an awesome comic experience. These guys have all the new issues, mountains of back issues, a ton of $1 comics, slabs, toys, collectibles, Funko pops and more. Plus they have an attached location called Ground Control if Pokemon cards and gaming are your jam. Not to mention these guys have the best live claim sale on Instagram. “This location has a great selection of items. It was very clean and organized. I asked an employee about an item and they were so nice and helpful. It is a big show with a good variety of different types of items where almost everything is $5 or less. If it is more than $5 it is clearly marked. They have self service check outs which made the process smooth and someone nearby if you need help. There is lots of parking and there were plenty of baskets for shopping. I will definitely come back to this location.”
“This is the store I hang out in while my significant other goes through the mall. And no matter how long it takes I'm usually stressing over what to buy and if I even have room for it. For jigsaw puzzle addicts there are no 12-steps. If you feel like you got shorted on Childhood this is the place to top off your tank.”

Everything is whole sale so expect to buy in bulk.Place is very cleaned and organized with a lot of staff that are very helpful and knowledgeable.Pretty good prices.I got jelly beans, strawberry sour belts, gummy bears, and candy scoops. Everything was delicious and scoops worked well.Definitely coming back”
“Auntie Barbara's kids is a great stop. I have been shopping there for years and have always found the staff to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I drive from Newport Beach because they have such unusual things. When ever I give a gift from Auntie Barbara's it is always well received because it is simply put unique and beautiful. They have a large selection or both boys and girls clothes that happen to be adorable. I took my granddaughter there and she thought it was the best store ever. The staff was very polite and engaging with her and she felt like a grown-up shopping. She can't wait to go back. Today when so many stores lack customer service, this store gives great customer service. Their recommendations are always spot on. If you're looking for a quality gift this is the place. Don't let some of the negative reviews cause you not to go. This is definitely a gem. My one wish was that it was closer to me!!!”

“Some prices are high, sure. But I will say that most negative reviews for this company are greatly exaggerated. I didn't see any common V cards for $70 as stated in other reviews. I'd say most cards are $10-$20 over TCG (some big cards are higher), but I think that's more a factor of being in/near Calabasas than anything. We were greeted upon arrival, and it was an overall pleasant experience. Glad we stopped.”

“Now that there is a Five Below I like this shopping center even more! The employees are very nice and helpful and the store is clean and new. I like this store better than the two other ones I’ve been to in Porter ranch and lake forest. It’s a great store to take kids because everything is $5 or less and you don’t have to say “no” to more expensive items like at other stores.”
